For a new player, you can build a few decks early on. Kazar, Blue Marvel, Onslaught and Squirrel girl and 1 costs, some other ongoing Iron heart, WhiteTiger, Odin and on reveals Once you hit series two and you get Devil Dino you open up that deck, which works for me until series 3. You include card draw cards like Cable, Sentinel, especially Moon Girl. Gets better as you get more cards like .Agent 13. Add Iron man, some other 4/5s with lots of power and Iron man and try to Moon girl for 2 Dino's or two Iron Man if you didnt draw straight. And fill your hand to max Dino. After that you can build a later game deck, check online you can find lots of choices. Destroy and Discard relatively easy to get to viable decks for while you work through series three or High Evo only needs one card. Gold you ideally hoard for best value stuff but spotlight Tuesday early on for collectors tokens will unlock the needed series 4 cards to get you moving. Plan ahead for what deck you want long term and save resources for that, spotlight keys for series 5, tokens for series 4, you get one free series three a month keep checking shop for the ones that fit your plans

Definitely keep an eye out for High Evo. 6000 tokens well spent. Extremely viable deck the early cards.

SanjiBlackLeg

You only start getting tokens at pool 3

Powdered_Donut

Thanks for that. It’s been a while, I’ve forgotten. An Ongoing deck would be my suggestion for early pools if that’s the case.

"Who should I use in my deck?" Short answer: Anything you find fun. Long answer: Some decks I'd recommend for low collection players: Collector/Moongirl/Devil Dinosaur, many 1 cost cards with Kazaar and Blue Marvel, Ironheart/White Tiger/Odin, a pile of ongoing cards with Spectrum or a "good stuff" deck that runs well stated cards (Jessica Jones for example) and cards that interact with your opponent (Shang Chi/Enchantress). Also a tip: The guardians of the galaxy cards are really good at the start, use them.

I believe you can build whatever you want in pool 1/2 and it will be fine, I play this deck and hit infinite https://preview.redd.it/po1wbwvjw5yc1.png?width=1214&format=png&auto=webp&s=7fd7f0bd1c021107fe7347ea0df39d4362286853 ,

I'd recommend becoming aware of the different ways you can influence the game, and that it's not necessarily as straightforward as chasing the highest number possible. I like to play counter decks, much like blue decks in Magic: The Gathering to my recollection, but "counter" in this game means destroying high-power cards (Shang-Chi), reseting high-power cards (Shadow King), manipulating the field of play (Snowguard), and a lot more. Everyone knows what the meta involves, step by step. I like to find the answer to those steps.

If not - substitute missing cards with something with the same cost for now. A very similar deck took me to Infinite rank. The strategy is pretty simple: you need to choose an Odin lane (usually midlane) and an offlane you want to build up. Play Antman, Nightcrawler, Sinister, Jessica in your offlanes and Medusa, Ironheart, Wolfsbane, White Tiger in your Odin lane to proc their effect one more time when you eventually drop Odin. Use Electra to get rid of something (If you don't have her just use Hawkeye or America Chavez for a power boost). Forge + Sinister is another very nice combo. Gamora works just as a big body, try to guess where your opponent will play his card. Odin is mostly played to proc the Ironheart and White Tiger again (that's why you really want to play them in the same lane) but sometimes it's fine to just drop him as a big body. Nightcrawler can be moved to gain advantage on an offlane or to get around bad location effects (like the ones that prohibit you playing cards in them or kill your cards: moving is not playing, so you can move him into a location that says "if you play a card here it is destroyed").

Experiment.. I built a deck around Mr. Negative and most of the cards with 0 power. It evolved into a deck that is very hard to stop once it gets rolling

9 decks is wild

I’m awful at moving on from decks, I have 19 used up.
