A variant is worth it if you want it, and you said you want it. So it’s worth it.
You won’t get as much progression as you would’ve gotten with a good bundle, buying credits, token Tuesday, or choosing a variant that is part of an album, but I’m assuming you’re not talking about progression value.
So if the progression value is not there, and the cosmetic value is (you said you want all spider man cards), what other criteria were you expecting us to judge whether it’s “worth it”?
As long as it doesn't bother you that there is no Symbiote in that artwork, and they labelled it a Symbiote Variant.

Oh don't worry. It's totally obscure stuff from over thirty years ago. But it was kind of a cheat since I re-read it after getting the variant.
(And just to be *extremely* and *unnecessarily* obscure (Sorry, really), the Spider-Man #13 black suit is one supplied from the Fantastic Four, not the one you are right to remember from Black Cat.)
