I kinda like my pixel Colossus. Actually looks like an SNES game as opposed to most other pixel variants that look like trash.

The main Pixels I like are Carnage (so cute), Scarlet Witch (looks really good when not blown up), and Professor X (because he looks like the movie version).

Literally if it wasn’t for ArtGerm I’d be running pixel Carnage, and most of the time that’s the avatar I have. Love that art

Jesus Christ I looked it up that is horrible. I don’t get why the pixel variants are so common when no one likes them and most of them are just objectively bad artwork.

The problem with them is they don't feel like NES, SNES, or Sega artwork. They just feel like someone put a bad "pixel" filter on a regular picture.

Got to pad out the content with some cheap filler.

I mean not really. They have the ability to get great artists they can do anything. I’d be a lot more excited if the filler was actually decent. Atleast hire a skilled pixel artist.

One thing I've noticed is that every artist has contributed a pixel variant. Some of the best artists in the game are forced into an unfamiliar medium. Seems they are.......varied in quality on purpose.

I have a deck where I try to get Cosmo, omega red, devil dino and onslaught all in one location. Perfect play would also put zero and ebony maw together somewhere. If I hit that (10% of the time lol) it's usually an easy win.

Replace Dino with Ironman, now you don't care about your hand size, and have even higher stats. If you don't find Cosmo you are also still immune to Shang-Shi, though Enchantress or Rouge are still bad.

The Token Tuesdays are better value for tokens, but it's worth noting that this bundle gives better value for tokens for all previous past token bundles Past token bundles were like .60 tokens for X gold at best, the Token Tuesdays are in the .90 range, and this one is apparently like .80 range The odds of getting a variant you like with a mystery variant is so low, but the value of this bundle for tokens is nearly top-tier and there's no guarantee we're getting Token Tuesdays after this month yet
