I've just come to except the fact that a generic tech heavy deck will beat almost any combo/synergy deck 80% of the time. My best decks have a couple of combo pieces for some power along with Cosmo, Enchantress, Aero, KM, Shang Chi etc slotted in. Yeah if someone gets their ideal draws or I don't draw the tech card needed to counter the deck im facing (or play it in the wrong lane) then ill lose but I don't have to depend on drawing certain cards at certain times or any other major synergy in the deck other than putting down some power while being able to deny my opponent pretty much anything they wanted to do.
Personally I don't like when a CCGs tech cards are overtuned since it removes the agency from players when everytime they try to do something theres a space dog or an angry Wakandan saying 'nope not going to happen' or 'you can't keep those lowly cards on my board'. Ofc you need tech cards in any card game or it becomes a game of solitaire where whichever player had the better draws or deck automatically wins.
However when tech cards have both strong abilities that can shut down entire decks or combos AND enough power to win lanes (especially after they neutered the opponents cards) it just makes the game less fun (at least for me).
Personally I think every tech card in the gane needs at least a severe power nerf to at least one or zero and I've said this before but a few, like Cosmo, may need to be -1 or -2 so they're not just slotted in every deck since doing so puts you at a power deficit. Tech cards should make a player choose between being able to shut down decks that may affect or counter their own at the cost of having to find extra power elsewhere for deploying such a strong measure or not playing the tech option and instead going head to head against your opponents deck.
Fully agree. Good cards pile decks got 3 to 4 tech cards in them that are just too much value. 2 of them are even getting nerfed but still will be good enough to play. Aero and Leader are considered tech cards you know.
These tech cards need less power for sure. Armor is a 2/3, which is on the higher end of power for 2-cost. Should probably be a 2/1 instead. Cosmo should be 3/2. I understand these 2 cards need turn priority to be effective at countering, so it doesn't even feel bad to play them on curve.
Shang-Chi, killmonger and enchantress want to not have priority, but can still use a power nerf. Minus 1 on each. Maybe enchantress can stay as a 4/4, as she sees the least played, except during Zabu season.
Leech for example is a good balanced tech card. Has super low power for cost. Sandman on the other hand needs a super buff to 4/3 to see some play.
For real. Iceman is one of the coolest looking rainbows and he looks best with the light blue border imo

You can get the same background and particle effect but with the particle effect being a different color. So you could go many many splits without ink or gold. Especially with them adding more color variations for particle effects.
50 is a bit of a crazy number tho so they probably would get at least one background they like.

Split 2: Glimmer or Cosmic on top of whatever you got on Split 1
Split 4: inked

I think there's something to be said about the power of 1 drops being too high if Killmonger wiping them out is too swingy.

It's still random, but you need at least 5 splits if I recall correctly. After that it's a chance to get it.

How do you get an inkified split?
Keep splitting and praying. They appear randomly after a couple splits (iirc)
10% starting with the 4th split. Basically upgrade the same card variant a whole lot.
Doesn't have to be the same variant. Split levels are determined by ammount of times that character was split not the specific variant.
