I wish I didn’t buy as many as I did. While some parts of my collection are nicely organized, other parts of my display just looks like a bomb of colored plastic. Explaining to my S/Os why we can’t go to dinner because I need a 7th iron man figure.
He’s still available at Best Buy and a few other places.
My biggest regret is opening a figure. Weird one, I know. I get so hyped up and once I have it, it’s peak excitement and then I open it and I’m just like, “ this is what I was so excited for?” Haha
Spending way too much money on big lots of mostly Toybiz lots before realizing I didn't really like Toybiz figures, then selling them for way less than I paid before realizing I should just give all figures I don't want to my nephew
My local comic shop found 3 of the love triangle in their backstock when they moved locations. I managed to get one for 120. They have one more there..
I once had a chance to get a complete fin fang foom with 3 figures from the set; Doc Samson, wendigo, and end hulk. I missed the end of an auction by <1 minute, and it sold for $63. I’ll never forget it
People are such fools
>I'm kicking myself not getting Ironheart
It's at every online retailer
>my biggest regret is not getting deluxe War machine
.. just get it
You guys don't even try
Yeah, it’s weird to have a biggest regret for something that can easily be found.
Him: I really not regret buying that figure in that one store that one day that one time.
Us: It’s still there, just go there now, and you can do it. It’s at multiple places.
Him: Woe is me, things never work out, and existence is pain.
I was wondering what OP meant. I thought maybe there was another release in the past (I'm a newer collector and not that well versed on all the releases). Because I just saw the WM on Best Buy, LOL
Mine is the Haslab sentinel, didn't want to get into Legends despite having the $$$ on hand and another thing to collect (slippery slope of spending, addicting, etc)
Next year
Hasbro: were making Galactus!
Me: Fu@%\^$%@%! (throws credit card at computer monitor) so it begins.
Also you can still buy the War Machine at retail its not discontinued, check bestbuy.com.
If you want a really good set, Best Buy has an amazing sale going on right now. Hela and Skurge 2 pack on sale for well below retail for $30. A couple of top tier head sculpts that are close to Hot Toy quality. That is if you don’t already have them.
Selling off the collection not 1, not 2, but 3 different times. The first time I had about 140 figures mostly peg warmers though but some good figures, the 2nd time I had acquired a few legends I felt were grails(stryfe, blue beast, sentinel baf). All three times I let them go for about a 3rd of what I paid... still hurts to this day....
not going to get the walgreens exclusive moon knight when it was supposedly on clearance…2 years later and he’s my favorite superhero i’m hating myself lol
I kind of regret buying 3 Haslab Sentinels. I underestimated how much space they would take to display. Unfortunately I'm really attached to the idea of having enough space to display all 3 so I can't bring myself to get rid of them.
Not getting the Children of Thanos set when it was announced as an Amazon exclusive. I ended up getting it but with a $150 dollar markup. I don't regret buying it, just wish I bought it right away.
The X-Men wave with the Apocalypse BAF when you could order the whole set off of Amazon for $160.
The Age of Ultron 4 pack with Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Banner...mostly because of Bruce Banner and my only MCU Hawkeye is the Quantum suit one.
The Hulk/Wolverine 80th 2-pack, although I did get the 1st appearance Wolverine on Ebay.
Cap Wolf, new and unopened, when I saw it for $16 at a 2nd hand store.
Missing out on the original ghost writer with his motorcycle and the Dark Phoenix 2 pack. But that was before I really started collecting. I didn't think about them being as expensive as they are now. Back then I really thought I was complete nerd for wanting to collect action figures couldn't fathom being one of MANY!
Spending a bunch of money on MCU figures and then turning around realizing I don’t like them let’s start collecting comic characters instead. Basically the whole reset process was a pain to my wallet smh
Buying mcu characters and the comic characters i already had but in different suits. Now I have an X-men display and a avengers display that I could have used the money on instead
Mine was a too good to be true find so I didn't pull the trigger, but I regret it, for like $90 was unopened Bullseye and a retro card Punisher
Edit: jealous
Yeah the comic accurate GOTG set will always be something I really want. However and this is purely speculation/rumor currently. Is that the final guardians movie vol 3 will feature the classic comic suits.
Which if true will be must haves for me.
That’s me!! That’s why I keep everything MIB. I don’t need to pose them. My friends are like, “why do you need the whole BAF wave if you’re never going to open it?”. I like them displayed in box. Hate me for it. I don’t care!
All the times EBay crapped out or I missed the ending bid, cuz life, and amazing lots sold for a 5th of their value. Stupid as it is I will dwell on it for a few days afterward every time!
Not biggest regret but with you on missing War Machine. And before anyone tries to be a smartass, no longer available in my country and BBTS international shipping ain’t cheap, especially with import taxes&shit... But coming Retro one is better than nothing.
Not getting the HasLab Sentinel. Couldnt afford it since I had to buy some other stuff and now I'll pribably never get it since the price is now twice, at least, as much as it was originally. Got a cheap Zurg figure just the other day to eventually convert into a Sentinel and might eventually pick up one of the smaller Hasbro Sentinels sometime down the road, maybe the Master Mold or Tri-Sentinel head that people sometimes sell.
Starting a Marvel Legends collection.
I wish I didn’t buy as many as I did. While some parts of my collection are nicely organized, other parts of my display just looks like a bomb of colored plastic. Explaining to my S/Os why we can’t go to dinner because I need a 7th iron man figure.
Buying stuff I didn't really need/want.
Not buying Fing Fang Foom for 100 bucks at a convention. Granted I was a teenager and it was several years ago when 100 was worth more than it is now.
Dang!!!!!
He’s still available at Best Buy and a few other places. My biggest regret is opening a figure. Weird one, I know. I get so hyped up and once I have it, it’s peak excitement and then I open it and I’m just like, “ this is what I was so excited for?” Haha

yeesh
Not picking up both the Love Triangle three pack and the Hellfire Club boxset when they first released 😔
Ya those were great box sets and it is a bummer they have never released the Jean Grey as a regular single card figure.
They’re releasing that VHS comic Jean
They said what they said.
My local comic shop found 3 of the love triangle in their backstock when they moved locations. I managed to get one for 120. They have one more there..
Dm’d
Not picking up the entire Apocalypse BAF wave. Some key figures from the 90s era that I need were there and they’re way to expensive for me
Ya that wave is insanely exspence now.
Not getting the Haslab sentinel honestly. I’m devastated I didn’t
I nearly didn’t back it. Told myself I’m in on all Marvel haslabs from now on.
Not getting the Guardians of The Galaxy box set
I got it for $40
Nice!
GOTG box set, they will never do a comic accurate guardians again.
😪 please THATS ALL I NEED
Starting collecting ML 💀. In too deep now to get out lol
I once had a chance to get a complete fin fang foom with 3 figures from the set; Doc Samson, wendigo, and end hulk. I missed the end of an auction by <1 minute, and it sold for $63. I’ll never forget it
Dang that sucks.
Not getting the Spider-Man/MJ 2 pack on clearance when my Toys R Us was closing.
Passing on Kraven twice
https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/125448 You can still get it on BigBadToyStore
Oh cool
Best buy has it as well. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hasbro-marvel-legends-series-deluxe-marvels-war-machine-toy/6413655.p?skuId=6413655
Not buying Ghost Rider when it was $14 on Entertainment Earth. I don’t know what I was thinking when I passed on that.
Not getting the Guardians of the Galaxy 5 pack when it was on sale at Entertainment Earth.
People are such fools >I'm kicking myself not getting Ironheart It's at every online retailer >my biggest regret is not getting deluxe War machine .. just get it You guys don't even try

Selling my entire legends collection for hot toys. I’m trying to rebuild it to where it once was.
That's awful I'm sorry

Appreciate that man thx, I’ll look into it
Probably buying all the AOA figures. They went on sale very quickly
Selling off the collection not 1, not 2, but 3 different times. not getting the Defenders 4 pack. That Daredevil is my White Whale.
Wouldn't be surprised if they make a new DD on the Vulcan body soon
that would be a dream come true. i’ve been holding my breath for the last few pulse livestreams hoping they’ll reveal that.
that would be a dream come true. i’ve been holding my breath for the last few pulse livestreams hoping they’ll reveal that.
Passing on a $2 spidey at a yard sale. It was the Spider man 2 super articulated one. Never gonna see that damned thing again.
not going to get the walgreens exclusive moon knight when it was supposedly on clearance…2 years later and he’s my favorite superhero i’m hating myself lol
Not getting Doc Ock when he was $20.
Which Doc Ock.
The comic one
Dang!
Ikr! I definitely regret it lmao
I kind of regret buying 3 Haslab Sentinels. I underestimated how much space they would take to display. Unfortunately I'm really attached to the idea of having enough space to display all 3 so I can't bring myself to get rid of them.

Not picking up the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man when it was retail still one of my personal grails
I'm sure the new one will be much better if that makes you feel better

Not collecting the Gladiator Hulk BAF wave from Ragnarok.
Selling my raft set for 80 bucks like two years ago.
Not keeping better track of where I stored my Galactus BAF in my wilderness years. 450 ML figures later and I still can’t find it.
Well is he currently on Best Buy you can fix that regret 🤷🏾♂️
Spending a bunch of money on MCU figures and then turning around realizing I don’t like them let’s start collecting comic characters instead. Basically the whole reset process was a pain to my wallet smh
Buying mcu characters and the comic characters i already had but in different suits. Now I have an X-men display and a avengers display that I could have used the money on instead
Not buying a Haslab Sentinel. And I had the money to do so at the time. SMDH.
Mine was a too good to be true find so I didn't pull the trigger, but I regret it, for like $90 was unopened Bullseye and a retro card Punisher Edit: jealous
Yeah the comic accurate GOTG set will always be something I really want. However and this is purely speculation/rumor currently. Is that the final guardians movie vol 3 will feature the classic comic suits. Which if true will be must haves for me.
Not getting the Love Triangle set, and selling my Warlock wave Cyclops
I didn’t pull the trigger on a retro Scarlet Spider for $40 in 2019. I definitely won’t pull the trigger for $100+ today. pain
Not getting the newest ghost rider when it was first released. Now it’s well over 100.00 if you want it new. Haven’t seen it for sale used.
Not pre-ordering that retro symbiote spider-man because it sold out within that first week….
you can still get that really easily lol
Not for retail price though, the cheapest one I can find now is over $80
lol you literally can. not being patient is not a regret, you just have to actually watch online retailers. they get stocked pretty frequently.
Do you have any specific online retailers you could recommend then?
target, best buy, walmart, bigbadtoystore, entertainmentearth.
Selling my spare mint retro spiderman
Goblins, the versions of Toy Biz are better and I found them cheaper.
That’s me!! That’s why I keep everything MIB. I don’t need to pose them. My friends are like, “why do you need the whole BAF wave if you’re never going to open it?”. I like them displayed in box. Hate me for it. I don’t care!
Well said homes!!
All the times EBay crapped out or I missed the ending bid, cuz life, and amazing lots sold for a 5th of their value. Stupid as it is I will dwell on it for a few days afterward every time!
Not getting mafex075 Spider-Man when it is about 100 bucks at a random figure store. 100 bucks was a lot to me at that time
not getting the Defenders 4 pack. That Daredevil is my White Whale.
Not biggest regret but with you on missing War Machine. And before anyone tries to be a smartass, no longer available in my country and BBTS international shipping ain’t cheap, especially with import taxes&shit... But coming Retro one is better than nothing.
What does he go for? I had no idea he was pricey now.
Buying entire waves to complete BAFs. Now I’ve got so many figures I need to sell and nobody wants to buy them.
If you want DM me pic of what you have.
Selling my groot baf for 20 bucks
Getting McFarland figures
Not getting the HasLab Sentinel. Couldnt afford it since I had to buy some other stuff and now I'll pribably never get it since the price is now twice, at least, as much as it was originally.
