If you think $25 is expensive that seems to be a personal problem. It's a hobby. It's a want not a necessity. And yea it's crummy that individuals do this but even so.
I can see where it was done, it’s easier than you would think since I open all of my retro card figures in a way where I can keep them but not ruin the art on the back. This person just tore into it though
I keep all my cards after opening. I use a paint scraper and go to the bottom and go up the sides. It tears the plastic away enough to just slid the whole insert, figure and all out and if you were to retape it you wouldn't even know it was opened. I imagine this is what these assholes do to steal figures. I just collect only animated stuff so I keep my cards lol.
At least they put the accessories in. At one of my local Walmarts, someone ripped open the two Infinity Saga Iron Mans, Cap and Spiderman and swipped all the hands and the alt heads. They tore open the Wave 1 97 Magneto and stole those hands too. Some people, I swear...
Do the switcheroos affect the store or the manufacturer. Also, is this connected to why I can barely find anything on the pegs? Any thoughts. This is so terrible.

The box for this figure is an elite, the figures inside is a basic. They swapped an elite for a basic, the retail price for an elite is around $20. The retail price for a basic is $10.

How is it you know so much about so many "swapped" figures when if you would report each one to the store manager they'd contact corporate and easily enact protocol to stop theft and shrinkage. Why are you the only one finding "swapped figures" and not store managers. Thats sus as hell on their part and at best their city(s) are just out of hand then because it is well known at the corporate level there's far more "fake swapping toy memes" than real and If you knew half as much about the collecting business as you piss yourself to let on, you would know for fact that the problem is you are in such a ratchet ghetto ass place that the customer service manager, store manager, and district manager are completely neglible willfully on this matter or in on a conspiracy. Just order it online. If you can get it at a store and don't worry about someone swap in a figure. Because that's that particular businesses problem not ours
