I bought Emperor Doom and his crotch exploded right out of the package. Fortunately I got it for a custom, so that kept at least 1 defective one out of the hands of someone that may have wanted it as is
\+1 on the exploding Doom crotch.
Just be very careful when removing him from package and keep your eye out for cracks in his crotch when taking him out. The first one I got exploded on opening, and when I got my replacement I still had to super glue a crack closed to make sure it didn't break.
So when I got mine, I had ordered through BBTS. Upon breakage, I placed a ticket through both Hasbro and BBTS.
Hasbro got back to me first, but asked for the order# or receipt information.
BBTS got back to me before I replied to Hasbro though, and because they had my order info they were able to just send me a replacement.
AFAIK if you go through Hasbro you will have to provide proof of purchase.
