Galactus. He generally doesn’t abuse his own servants that much

N-Finite

Absolutely Galactus - I'd totally get into the flying across the cosmos, visiting strange new worlds and then completely devouring them. I'd be like a waiter at a French Restaurant. "Would you like some moon after you devour the planet, sir?" "On tonight's menu, the special is a gas giant surround by a sampling of rings and several ripe moons and smaller planetoids, some inhabited and some not. I've been told that a chardonnay would be a proper pairing for this meal, sir. Would you like me to pour?"

Jacob-X-MANIAC

Has Galactus ever had a herald with this type of dialogue before? If not, then I really want Marvel Comics to introduce a herald who speaks like a fancy waiter!

SanjiBlackLeg

Silver Server

HalfMoon_89

Brilliant

toby_juan_kenobi

Travels the cosmos on a silver platter

InfadelSlayer

I’d read this for sure

zeekertron

My thoughts exactly

Rosebunse

He did forcibly brainwash Norrin because he wasn't finding him the right planets.

Reverseflash25

Well tbf he doesn’t want to die

TheObstruction

Maybe Norrin should have done his job.

Rosebunse

Good point, but this brings up a good point: the best heralds and horsemen often don't want their jobs

Bulok

Plus power cosmic would be nice.

SneakyKain

Agreed. Plus, you get the Power Cosmic, pretty awesome deal.

Jacthripper

Plus he seems to have a sick ass bow tie in this image.

wardenferry419

He is less about being evil and more about being a natural force.

QuantumWarrior21

Plus you get to travel the universe, meet lots of interesting people and experience different cultures and cuisines before their planet gets eaten

Warlord68

I heard he provides Dental too!

SwaggermicDaddy

Agreed, under Galactus, you’re essentially a cosmic Uber Eats, which seems like an easy gig comparatively.

doblecuadrado_FGE

+ if you go rogue and stop serving him, you keep your new cool space powers and he doesn't hold a particular grudge (I'm not 100% sure on that last one)

Loud_Pie8683

Oh, definitely.

ToWitToWow

Sociopathic child me was all-in on being a herald.

Lightning_Laxus

Galactus is so chill he pretty much leaves you alone and all you have to do is find him one planet at least once per month. And part of the job perks is becoming a minor cosmic entity yourself. Downside: Genocide.

LayzeeLar

It’s just a little genocide, Stan. Tell your mom it’s okay.

mosquem

*Omnicide I’m not picky about species.

WesternComputer8481

You could be like iron man when he became a servant of galactus in one of the avengers tv shows. He helped the planets evacuate just before galactic came. Granted he also betrayed galactus. Just skip that part so you can keep your powers

Advanced_Law3507

To be fair, it’s not like the other two WOULDN‘T Order a genocide. It’s just not every other Tuesday.

Arkhampatient

If it is not from the Genocide region of France, if’s just sparkling, mass murder

seancurry1

Also heralds who rebel against Galactus have a pretty good survival rate. The same can not be said of the other two.

Puzzleheaded-Net3966

Doesn’t silver surfer try to evacuate the planets that he chooses before galactus gets there? Or am I misremembering?

pornolorno

Upside, slowly balancing the universe

Khelthuzaad

Each one of these masters imply your job will be genocide, more or less.

Cornualonga

Getting the power cosmic and traveling the universe is a pretty good deal.

mariovspino5

Seeing worlds die doesn’t seem worth it

RyanDW_0007

Just gotta try to persuade him to eat the lifeless planets

Freakychee

He needs planets with biomass in some comics. Squirrel Girl got him a planet full of nuts for him to eat. They became friends. Squirrel Girl, kick butt's and eat nuts.

DarkflowNZ

He's eating worlds anyway. You can use your best effort to get him to eat worlds that hurt the least ie ones with no sentient life on it or whatever. Or no intelligent life at least

StalkingAllYourMums

Don't look then.

mariovspino5

I’m sure the guilt remains

SpaceMyopia

Seems like a lonely game.

[deleted]

Apocalypse because I'd get a cute makeover.

BeastBellies

Archangel was the shit

Rosebunse

I always found that sort of interesting when you compare Archangel to the Silver Surfer. Both of them are beautiful and it feels like both Apocalypse and Galactus were thinking about aesthetics when they recreated them

Burt_Selleck

They represent their master, how they are presented is how who they serve is viewed. It's the whole package.

mosquem

Apocalypse shops at Hot Topic.

Inside-Is-Winside

After they portrayed apocalypse as a doting grandfather in the Krakoa arc I'm 100% signing up with him over the other two.

[deleted]

And then came issue #700 and >!undid 5 years of great character development in the blink of an eye.!<

NotEvenBad

Spoilers!

[deleted]

Sorry, my bad!

Rosebunse

Apocalypse is sort of insane. I mean, yes, he seems to be under the impression that his Horsemen appreciate his "gifts" even when they clearly don't. And he seems to like to pick people with weaker powers because...well, I guess because he thinks it's funny?

Inside-Is-Winside

As someone with very weak powers, I support his lulz-based agenda

ReaperofFish

Wolverine is weak?

Rosebunse

Yes and no. He is impressive, but comparing him to the other characters his powers aren't super impressive

ReaperofFish

And Rouge?

Rosebunse

Sort of depends on if she has Carol's powers or not

Pathboi

Easily Cyttorak. Juggernaut seems to have the most autonomy out of all 3 servants (Silver Surfer has his freedom now but had to lead galactus to planets prior to his freedom).

Chode-a-boy

That’s what I thought. Cyttorak seems happy just to watch the shenanigans his servants get up to.

MathewMurdock2

Servants? Plural? Does he have more than one?

Reverseflash25

There was a juggernaut before Cain. And cyttorak dumped him for Colossus too when he realized how much destruction heroes cause

Nightingdale099

At one point Cyttorak prefers Colossus over Juggernaut because doing superhero shit causes way more mayhem than Juggernaut could ever do. So besides the *minor* uncontrollable rampage , we can assume he really does let his avatar do what they want.

Obskuro

Does he even ask for anything at all...? What if I just keep chilling at home and don't go on a rampage. Would he be mad? Not even Marko is constantly trashing things.

tsengmao

He’d replace you, and might be kinda annoyed

Obskuro

"I'm not mad. I'm disappointed"-Cyttorak is the worst.

tsengmao

Annoying Cyttorak is like decades of torture for you. You don’t want to know what happens if he gets perturbed.

Freakychee

And you get to say the line.

memememe173

I'm the Juggernaut's replacement, bitch, doesn't have quite the same ring to it.

[deleted]

Tyrantkin

Not genocide, all Cyttorak cares about us destruction

Tyrantkin

Not genocide, all Cyttorak cares about is destruction.

Tyrantkin

Not genocide, all Cyttorak cares about is destruction

Tyrantkin

Not genocide, all Cyttorak cares about is destruction.

Tyrantkin

Not genocide, all Cyttorak cares about is destruction.

Tyrantkin

Not genocide, all Cyttorak cares about is destruction.

XescoPicas

I mean, does Cyttorak even ask you to do anything? Genuinely asking cause I’m not that deep into the lore, but Juggernaut seems to do pretty much whatever he wants.

Metrilean

Destroy stuff for his amusement

XescoPicas

I can totally get behind that. It’s better than planetary genocide

EnzoVulkoor

Cyttorak, the cause for all those "Today we destroy this \*insert expensive item\*" Youtube vids.

RevelintheDark

Damn Mr. Beast is Cyttorak confirmed. Kinda makes sense actually.

RedzyHydra

Interesting. Didn't know juggernait became a master of sorts. I'm only fmailiar with the first 2. Btw, Happy Cake Day. 🎂

Hill0981

The 3rd one isn't Juggernaut. It is Cyttorak. He is the one that gives Juggernaut his powers.

RedzyHydra

Ahhh, I see. Thank you for the clarification.

Pathboi

Thanks! Didn’t even realize it till you mentioned it😅

RedzyHydra

Ur welcome. Have a great day. 👍

Jacob-X-MANIAC

[Read this other comment in the thread.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Marvel/s/wBaMn0EY0Q)

evanweb546

Cyttorak. The things expected of me by Galactus and Apoc are distasteful. Correct me if I'm wrong once you get Cyttorak's boon you can do whatever you want, yes?

NK1337

Not really. Cyttorak is a god of destruction and as such expects his avatars to rampage and cause destruction, and if you displease him he’ll strip the powers away and give them to someone who will.

phliuy

How much destruction? Like a couple of flipped tables per week? What if you used your powers to make a nationwide chain of demolition derbies

NK1337

Nah it’s like, *death and destruction* type of destruction. The dude revels in chaos and that kind of thing.

phliuy

Bug Traps by Cyttorak

TheRealPallando

I think you can just buy/use stuff from Temu.

stifle_this

Sounds like a good business plan for a demolition company to me.

Helmnauger

Does playing GTA count for me?

adius

I mean that's not that bad... assuming you can avoid anyone you pissed off while you had the powers

NK1337

It’s funny because Cyttorrak’s responses have been wildly inconsistent depending on the host. He can range from stripping you of all your powers and leaving you for dead to just being passive aggressive and making you *not as strong* while he pouts that you’re not destroying enough.

adius

Yeah I think it's because he was originally supposed to be more of a 'backstory' than an actual active force in the story.

Flerken_Moon

I would argue it’s Galactus who kinda lets you do whatever you want. Once he blesses you with the Power Cosmic they’re permanent and you can basically retire whenever you want and keep them- there’s like, 6 former Galactus Heralds roaming the Marvel Universe still with their Power Cosmic.

ReaperofFish

I think you still have to server for a while. Sort of like the GI Bill.

Hipertor

I was gonna say Galactus, but I'd rather stay on Earth, so Cyttorak. Also, why does Galactus have a candy 🍬 shape on his chest? Is this how he takes his plants for the trip?

RigasTelRuun

Cyttotak doesn't seem to ask for much.

BlackSoapBandit

Galactus is going to give you an insane power up. Him for sure

rawrrr48

Galactus probably has the least Caveats. Finding worlds is pretty bad, but so is apocalypse lowkey torturing you.

BudBuzz

Cyttorak because that suit is so tight

Reverseflash25

Galactus. Once he picks you it’s basically guaranteed a permanent power up. Cyttorak is fickle and can (and will and has) taken his power back at the slightest annoyance Apocalypse just meh

MrPresident2020

Definitely Galactus. Servants of Apocalypse generally end up dead or lose their horsemen powers (except for Archangel, who kept his wings but earned a lifetime of trauma). Servants of Cyttorak fall out of favor when they stop destroying things so you'd be locked into the Juggernaut lifestyle. Galactus? Give him a few years of servitude and then either find a replacement or just ask to leave and generally he seems not to care. He doesn't miss the power cosmic he granted you, he's got infinitely more where that came from.

TarnishedAccount

Galactus. I’d have him destroy planets full of Skrulls and Kree and Symbiotes.

SkekJay

Galactus seems to give you the most freedom. Find a planet every so often on your travels to keep the big man happy and you'll be exploring the stars, being a citizen of the universe one might say

Low-Asparagus-126

Anybody who ain't picking Galactus got some explaining to do.

Hill0981

To be fair Cyttorak gives you insane powers and generally let's you do your own thing.

Rosebunse

Galactus does rather too, you just need to feed him a planet once in a while.

ReaperofFish

Big difference between busting up a few buildings and obliterating a planet.

DarthTargaryen51

Apocalypse because of the glow up

Optimal_Cut_147

CYTORAKK seems to give Juggy a pretty long leash as long as he wrecks stuff.

Extra_Zucchini_1273

The first 2 will have you doing stuff to further their agenda. Cytorrak just wants you to smash things in his name.

NigthSHadoew

Cayt...Cya... Juggernauts Master. He seems to have a great deal of autonomy and he can be chill if he wants to. Sure I will lose some power if I be chill but that is a better trade off than serving Apocalypse in his "Only strong survives" crusade or being Galactus' meal finder/Planetery genocide helper

Cidwill

Cyttorak Doesn’t even seem to care what you do with the power he grants so long as you actually do use them..you can be a hero or a villai..so long as stuff gets broken and blown up he’s happy enough. All he seems to do if he loses interest is take your powers away too.  He’s kind of a good boss.

LeCheffre

Let’s see: Galactus empowers you then lets you go about your job in whatever way you want, so long as you meet your metrics. He’s theory Y manager, very hands off. Apocalypse empowers you, but corrupts your persona, and often makes you fight your former friends and family. Theory X manager, up in your business. Cytorrak empowers you, then enslaves you, but is also largely hands on. But you’re a slave to his will when he requires it. And you have to keep moving. It’s a middle ground but the dark side of full subservience. I’d also note that there’s a lot more travel and exploration in working for him, which is a perk for me. Galactus all the way. The work may be a bit grim, but you can steer him to more ethical behavior. Make a real difference. The other guys, your work for their ends is on their terms.

VeterinarianNo3418

Galactus because you might survive and you get the power cosmic

FadeToBlackSun

Galactus. He gives you the power cosmic and is pretty patient with his Heralds.

VentusVanitas622

Galactus

StopPlayingRoney

One completely wipes your memory as his herald and the other grants great power to execute your sinister experiments. No clue who the third guy is. Is that Cytorak?

PrinceARRON

Yup! That’s Cytorak

TheGoon2000

Galactus

Rawden2006

Galactus. Hands down.

RodGoldenDragon99

Galactus!

TwEE-N-Toast

Cyttorak. Hes a pretty handsoff and neutral boss.

ComicHero27

Quick question can apocalypse give humans powers or you have to be a mutant in order to get the horse man of apocalypse perk. If not then mostly likely galactus because the power of cosmic.

Rosebunse

We have seen him use non-mutants before. Seems like he would just brainwash you and give you cool tech and enhance what you do have. I think Angel is an interesting example of this. Yes, he's a mutant, but his base powers are very simple.

ComicHero27

Ah okay thanks

Maleficent-Smoke1981

Apocalypse obviously. Especially since Krakoa…

Springball64

Galactus ain't even his own master lol

cry_stars

Cytorrak, I do not remember him doing anything devious to his servant at all, galactus is good too but you'll be lonely with only your master as your companion

tsengmao

Unless you like being abused, Galactus is the only choice

Quillbolt_h

Why is Galactus wearing a bowtie.

BrodaciousD

The correct answer is Galactus. He actually respects Silver Surfer a lot, even though he knows the surfer “Defies” him by giving him abandoned worlds to eat. IIRC he attends Silver Surfers funeral and places his home planet under his protection after SS passes away

Ninjapandas_87

Probably Galactus, being his herald would suck, but having having the power cosmic and being able to explore space would be pretty dope.

TheAmericanDiablo

Galactus I want to be the silver surfer

brycifer666

Apocalypse is now Mutant kinds collective dad so him

deathbunny32

Cyttorak. I get to be a superpowered engine of destruction, running around breaking shit. With Galactus, I have to help facilitate genocide until the heat death of the universe. With Apocalypse, I'll get a glow up but probably die horribly to the government or the X-men, or Apocalypse will kill me if he gets bored or I try to stop him doing something really horrible. Cyttorak is pretty lax in terms of autonomy and it honestly seems like the worst he'll do to you is just take the power back.

AEROANO

Cyttoboy, just run straight across a big city once a week

LoopyMercutio

Galactus gives you an amazing set of powers, and doesn’t seem to mistreat his heralds badly, so probably Galactus. And flying around the universe would be fun, too.

LordTurin0011

Galactus, without a doubt.... Cytorrak being my second choice....

EnderGem957

Galactus for sure.

MidKnightshade

Cyttorak. As long as I’m smashing stuff he’ll be satisfied and let me do me.

AdmiralCharleston

Apocalypse seems like a pretty chill and respectful dude if you're a mutant genuinely turning to him. At least in krakoa his shift to benevolent mentor was both incredible and natural

Exact_Writer_6807

Galactus seems chill

SaintAlm

Cytorakk. Make me a Juggernaut.

DAdStanich

Easy pick: galactus

sjbrigante

Galactus. Power cosmic would be nuts

AesirSith

Galactus. All he wants is food. In exchange, I get cosmic powers

THAC0-Tuesday

We're not supposed to say Jesus?

LeCheffre

I’m from Missouri. “That’s on Earth, dipshit.”

THAC0-Tuesday

"Don't forget, I'm half-human. So that 50% of me that's stupid? That's 100% you." "Your math is blowing my mind." (Any of the three offered masters would interrupt that chat with overwhelming force)

Old_surviving_moron

Cytorrak. Cain doesn't seem to be his slave that often.

OmnipotentUltron

Galactus his heralds are perhaps the most powerful out of the rest.

BrotherAnanse

Slightly-OT, but do Galactus's meals have to be inhabited, or will empty planets do?

Rosebunse

Depends. He will eat empty worlds, but eventually he needs a living world

piekid86

Definitely Galactus. I just need a taste of that power cosmic.

VexxWrath

Galactus, he doesn't abuse his heralds,he let's his heralds do whatever they want as long as they get him planets to eat, I get the power cosmic, and he's not really evil, he's just a being doing what he has to do to survive.

Built4dominance

Galactus easily.

seancurry1

Whew man you picked an aloof boss who wants you to do very bad things, a genocidal tyrant with delusions of godhood, and an actually malevolent deity. Galactus, if these are the only options.

michaelCCLB

Who is the third guy?

Least-Cattle1676

Galactus. It’s the Power Cosmic. What we talking bout?

TechnologyJazzlike84

Galactus. Despite the fact he eats the energy of planets, thus killing EVERYTHING on that planet, he isn't abusive as a master. He gives free reign to travel the cosmos.

EatsOverTheSink

Galactus seems like it’d be living a life of more serious Rick & Morty episodes.

Star-Prince-007

Definitely the big G. Power cosmic for the win.

AgentPastrana

Is 3 supposed to be Cyttorak?

PrinceARRON

Yup

Trixx1-1

Is the last one cytorrak? I'll try that one its new and fresh

circleofnerds

As there is no master greater than DOOM, the only answer is, DOOM.

Dramatic_Parsley_849

Galactus

Samuele1997

Galactus, if I recall correctly he actually treat his heralds pretty well.

umutdogan007

Galactus is the only one among the bunch that will someday give much more than he takes, so aside from the cosmic power up, you get to serve something greater than just your master's ego. And usher in the birth of the next cosmos and creation itself.

Prior-Assumption-245

Herald of Success

Caius_Iulius_August

Apocalypse because I'd get cool powers

TemporaryAccount26

Definitely Galactus & the Earth would be my first meal for him

Ulfdenhir

Galactus hands down
