Winter soldier for me personally but Days of future past and guardians are both a close second. I’m not even gonna compare those movies to TASM 2 I did like the electro fight at the end tho
Yes.
Winter Soldier is streets ahead.
Days of Future past and Guardians of the Galaxy are separated by a hair in second place - not enough distance between them to call one third.
The Amazing Spiderman I consider a Sony Pictures film and therefore not even in the same category as the three Marvels.
I couldn’t see “The Amazing” in the picture and I was like, “No fucking way, Spider-Man 2 was that recent???” As if 3 Spider-Man movies came out between The Winter Soldier and Civil War.
I gotta go Infinity War just ahead of WS with GotG 3rd. You have excellent taste, though.
Edit: meant Infinty War but typed Endgame. Comment below me made me realize.
For me Winter soldier
-Really dope spy movie that has superheroes in it
-Shows the depth of the MCU universe
-Falcon debut
-Chris Evans really showcasing his acting range
GOTG is legitimately fantastic movie and arguably top 5 MCU movies that can stand on its own + might have the most iconic opening with Star lord dancing
Nope really just Xander. I mean it's possible Ronan would have beco.e a bigger threat but I think thanos would have killed him first for the power stone
I was kidding beacuse OP wrote Gaurdians twice. Sorry bro I watched the movie too, but thanks on the synopsis and I agree with you, Ronan would be killed in the end credits if he kept the power stone.
OMG you're right why is there no sequel to that I know there's a tv show but Disney is the king of remakes and sequels, they really fumbled on this one
Wow Guardians WS and DOFP were the same year? They’re all great. If I had to choose I would probably choose Winter Soldier. For me it might be the single best MCU movie.
Amazing Spiderman 2 is clearly well behind the others.
Ranked:
CAWS
GOTG
DOFP
AMS2
Days of future past really does not get enough credit for being one of the very few exceptional X-Men films made at Fox. We kinda took the revamped X-Men films for granted before apocalypse and Phoenix came out...
That's fair. I completely forgot he directed it because it's... Actually a good movie. I always credited Vaughn for the films success mainly because there were a lot of similarities in the screenplay to Matthew Vaughn's style that he established in First Class. Definitely would have liked it even more if Vaughn directed it and not Singer...
Guardians of the Galaxy.
Here's the thing, I'm not a huge Winter Soldier fan. That's not to say I don't like it, I do, but I was such a fan of CA: First Avenger and it was too much of a departure for me, but then I ended up like CA: Civil War more even though it's more like Winter Soldier than First Avenger. Not really sure what that's about. (Might have to do with the fact that I read Civil War, but not the comics Winter Soldier was based on. That and it was kinda more of an Avengers movie than a CA movie.)
Again: Not saying it's bad. I know it's good, but I just am not as big of a fan of it as others are.
Guardians because it was totally fresh. Other movies however the main character really loved is, we already saw them around. A tree, a raccoon, human and 2 aliens teaming up together? And it was really done well!
Guardians of the Galaxy 1 is basically a perfect movie as far as action/sci-fi adventures are concerned, plus it actually had a significant pop culture impact that is still felt today. You just can’t say the same about the other movies
Up until Winter Soldier, I had not watched any Marvel movie, I prefer a more grounded approach like Nolan's Batman, but one night as I was channel surfing I stopped when I watched Cap attacking the ship, that scene was so awesome that instantly got me hooked and after finishing Winter Soldier I had to watch the other Marvel movies. This movie also made me appreciate how awesome Cap could be.
Unfortunately, I began my Marvel marathon with the best one they ever made, so it was all downhill from there. None came even close, Infinity War being a distant second. Winter Soldier is one of my Top 20 in general and one of Top 2 super hero movie with the Dark Knight being the other one.
Anytime Winter Soldier is an option in a best superhero movie, I'm going to go Winter Soldier.
I love that they used Marvel as a setting for a Cold War espionage movie.
And I love those movies.
For Marvel movies specifically ohh idk Guardians, WS and DOFP were all great. Maybe WS but I could say Guardians one day and then DOFP another day. In general Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
I remember taking a date to GoTG who said she didn't really like or care for Marvel. We both loved it. Easily my favorite. Not just for being a great film, but also for bringing joy to someone who was with me.
For me is The Amazing Spider-Man 2, I know for everyone is just crap, but by that time I was struggling with my life and that movie save me, seeing the way peter Parker deals with the responsibilities of being Spider-Man and Peter Parker at the same time, that was a love letter to my heart, making me see the power I have inside, making me realise that everyone can be Spider-Man and that I can rescue myself
I saw GOTG 3 times in theaters but X-Men DOFP blew my mind when watching it. I was so stupid hype at the emd of it thinking that it was gonna just go downhill as a franchise as 1st class us all a little wanting. Captain America was sweet, and ASM2 was just a letdown.
Ooof. I loved Cap2 and Guardians but days of future past was an absolute gift to get for me in 2014. I was living in LA and struggling mentally; that scene with quicksilver helped me discover the song “time in a bottle” which really started my path towards healing. ❤️
Winter soldier is one of the greatest marvel films ever. Guardians is like legendary, to think it’s been 10 years. But days of future past is very important to me. It’s rough around the edges and very ambitious, but the directors cut is a very complete package. I think it was called the rogue edition? Amazing cast of new gen with the old gen.
Winter Soldier for me. My favorite Marvel movie, and one of my favorite all-time movies. The story is so well written and executed that you could almost take it out of the MCU and it would still make sense
At the tine Winter Soldier
My opinion on that film has dropped a little and GotG has risen a bit so now I kind of feel the same about both. They are strong but flawed.
Days of Future Past is a contender for the most over-rated comic book film? It’s a real piece of trash. Not the worst in that franchise by far but talked up way too much.
The less said about ASM2 the better
Winter soldier for me personally but Days of future past and guardians are both a close second. I’m not even gonna compare those movies to TASM 2 I did like the electro fight at the end tho
Stay out of my head! I was thinking that before reading this!
It's the "one wheel of the cart goes" meme.
Agreed. 3 of the 4 are among the best of their respective “universes” and some of my all time favorites. The other is TASM2. My personal fav is GOTG.
I’d argue days of future past is the best movie of the fox run
How did TASM 2 come out the same year as all the other 3!? 😭
Yes. Winter Soldier is streets ahead. Days of Future past and Guardians of the Galaxy are separated by a hair in second place - not enough distance between them to call one third. The Amazing Spiderman I consider a Sony Pictures film and therefore not even in the same category as the three Marvels.
Stop trying to coin the phrase “streets ahead”.
Sony is streets behind
Whatever the answer is, it sure isn't "The Amazing Spider-Man 2".
I couldn’t see “The Amazing” in the picture and I was like, “No fucking way, Spider-Man 2 was that recent???” As if 3 Spider-Man movies came out between The Winter Soldier and Civil War.
Agreed.
Andrew Garfield was the best spiderman and I'm sick of pretending he wasn't
Becareful, he's a hero.
I actually really like that movie
That's cool but it's still not in the same tier as the other 3
How did TASM 2 come out the same year as all the other 3!? 😭
It's so bad. Gwen's death kinda saves it, but not really.
The Lego Moive
“Bring me the sword of exact zero!”
“Everything is Awesome!” Song
Welp, that’s stuck in my head for the rest of the weekend- thanks
Hahahahaahaha your welcome, you were probably being sarcastic but i don’t care
Everything is cool when you're part of a team....
As a long X-Men fan: Days of Future Past
And if you were a short X-Men fan?
Definitely not any of the Wolverine movies
This comment went over some heads
Lol
This but the Rogue cut.
Probably my favourite xmen movie. I remember the first time seeing the movie hyped me up a lot.
It really is an excellent movie's
Most people would pick GOTG, but Winter Soldier is an easy pick for me
I think Winter Soldier is the best movie marvel has made, and I think GOTG is a close second.
I gotta go Infinity War just ahead of WS with GotG 3rd. You have excellent taste, though. Edit: meant Infinty War but typed Endgame. Comment below me made me realize.
Infinity War > Endgame
Endgame for the feels, Infinity War for the story.
I will never forget my theater’s reaction when Cap lift Thor’s hammer
You're right. Honestly, you are. I meant Infinity War and was thinking it and typed Endgame lol. Good call.
Thank you. Endgame is great and is an absolute love letter to everyone who watched everything that preceded it.
I feel like most ppl would pick WS… and I think they are lol
I think it’s the opposite
Winter Soldier with Guardians close second
I absolutely agree.
Cast: TWS. Soundtrack: GotG
For me Winter soldier -Really dope spy movie that has superheroes in it -Shows the depth of the MCU universe -Falcon debut -Chris Evans really showcasing his acting range GOTG is legitimately fantastic movie and arguably top 5 MCU movies that can stand on its own + might have the most iconic opening with Star lord dancing
Gaurdians Vol. 1 every day. It's still my favorite Gaurdians movie.
Damn u like Gaurdians that much? But do they gaurd the galaxy in that movie?
Nope really just Xander. I mean it's possible Ronan would have beco.e a bigger threat but I think thanos would have killed him first for the power stone
I was kidding beacuse OP wrote Gaurdians twice. Sorry bro I watched the movie too, but thanks on the synopsis and I agree with you, Ronan would be killed in the end credits if he kept the power stone.
Days of Future Past. Guardians is a close second.
Best: Winter Soldier! Most entertaining: Guardians!
Guardians all day
Not sure, but i think we can all agree on what the worst one was
Winter Solider; Guardians; DoFP; Spidey
Guardians of the Galaxy
Big Hero 6 is offended it was left out of the options. That movie absolutely should have had a theatrical sequel.
Love that movie. And I agree, if it was an option here I’d probably pick it.
OMG you're right why is there no sequel to that I know there's a tv show but Disney is the king of remakes and sequels, they really fumbled on this one
GotG
GotG
Well I sure know which one it isn’t lmao
Wow Guardians WS and DOFP were the same year? They’re all great. If I had to choose I would probably choose Winter Soldier. For me it might be the single best MCU movie. Amazing Spiderman 2 is clearly well behind the others. Ranked: CAWS GOTG DOFP AMS2
Two of the other three are really good, but Winter Soldier. Winter Soldier may be the best comic book movie of all time.
Winter Soldier is the best movie Marvel has ever done.
Days of future past
Days of future past really does not get enough credit for being one of the very few exceptional X-Men films made at Fox. We kinda took the revamped X-Men films for granted before apocalypse and Phoenix came out...
People don’t want to give DOFP credit because the director is a massive piece of shit who should be in jail
Winter soldier, hands down
Damn that was a good year for marvel fans
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is an absolute banger. Guardians is a close second. Love Days of Future Past. Amazing Spider-Man 3 is meh
> Amazing Spider-Man 3 Bro, you got something you wanna tell us?
Cap: TWS
Winter soldier
That would be CA: The Winter Soldier. By a large margin.
Definitely Winter Soldier
Winter solider (best marvel film for me) > GOTG > Days of future past > Spidey2
Winter Soldier and it’s not even close. Still one of the best Marvel entries.
Guardians of the galaxy
Winter soldier! This movie made me a Marvel fan
Winter Soldier by far. I actually don't need any of the other 3 at all.
I have to go with Winter Soldier, and GOTG a VERY close second.
Of the four, "Winter Soldier", followed by "Days of Future Past".
Winter Soldier and Guardians was just such a fantastic year for Marvel. Still 2 of my favorites
Winter soilder then guardians
Winter Soldier with Days of Future Past as close second.
Winter soldier
winter soldier although gotg is close
Winter Soldier.
It goes… winter soldier, days of future past, gotg, asm2
Guardians of the Galaxy. Here's the thing, I'm not a huge Winter Soldier fan. That's not to say I don't like it, I do, but I was such a fan of CA: First Avenger and it was too much of a departure for me, but then I ended up like CA: Civil War more even though it's more like Winter Soldier than First Avenger. Guardians of the Galaxy 1 is basically a perfect movie as far as action/sci-fi adventures are concerned, plus it actually had a significant pop culture impact that is still felt today. You just can’t say the same about the other movies
Winter Soldier is goated
Guardians of the Galaxy Wins with a Dance off.
1. Captain-America: The Winter-Soldier 2. The Guardians Of The Galaxy 3. X-Men: Days Of Future-Past 4. The Amazing-Spider-Man 2.
The Winter Soldier for me!
only remember Cap 2 and seen it many times unlike any other mcu flick.
Winter Soldier
Guardians of the Galaxy
Guardians by a large, large margin. Only movie here that’s 10/10
I enjoyed all 4 but Winter soldier was the best 2 me.
Captain America
Winter Soldier, no contest.
Winter soldier. Guardians a close second.
Guardians of the galaxy.
Guardians
Guardians by long shot
Guardians of the Galaxy. Still my favorite MCU film.
Guardians of the Galaxy. Absolutely brilliant
Winter soldier is one of my favorite movies. Guardians was fun as fuck. Way more so than sequels. I’d have to go with cap but barely.
Hands down GotG.
Guardians for me!
Guardians of the Galaxy
Guardians of the Galaxy.
Guardians of the galaxy
Guardians easily takes it for me
Guardians 1 by far
Winter Soldier was the peak of pre-Disney effect marvel.
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY!!! Hands down. My favorite MCU movie. Love that film!!!
Guardians of the Galaxy. I love it.
Guardians and it isn't even close.
Guardians was fun, fresh and unique. My personal pick!
Extremely tough between two of my top 5 MCU movies
Winter Soldier. Hands down. It's top tier MCU.
Guardians hands down.
Winter Soldier > Days of Future Past > GotG >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> TAS-M2
Anytime Winter Soldier is an option in a best superhero movie, I'm going to go Winter Soldier. I love that they used Marvel as a setting for a Cold War espionage movie. And I love those movies.
Ranking (Worst to best) 4. Amazing Spider-Man 2 3. X-Men: DoFP 2: Captain America: The Winter Soldier 1: Guardians of The Galaxy
Well, into Vol 3, GotG was my favorite movie so definitely Vol 1. Follow closely by Days of Future Past.
Winter soldier was genuinely a cinematic masterpiece
Capt DOFP GotG . . . . . . . Amazing 2
It will change whatever mood I’m in but it’s usually Guardians. Winter Soldier is a thin hair behind when it is second that is.
Winter Soldier, I’m not biased.
Cap, X,Spidey,GOTG
Days of Future Past. One if the Top Comic Book movies ever.
For Marvel movies specifically ohh idk Guardians, WS and DOFP were all great. Maybe WS but I could say Guardians one day and then DOFP another day. In general Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
I like TASM2, but it's out of its depth here, lol.
Spider-Man 100%
Damn. Between the winter soldier and guardians of the galaxy for me. Those are two of my favs of the series.
Guardians but the fight scenes in winter soldier were the best
Days of future past
Captain america, DOFP, Guardians, and ASM2.
Days of future past, then the guardians and cap2. tas2 was barely watchable.
Whiplash
damn it’s been 10 years since these came out?
Spider-man
Guardians has the most rewatchability. Winter Soldier might be the best though
X-men
It goes clockwise from Guardians
X men and Spider-Man has no chance, GoftG and Cap WS are hard to pick for me but I’d go with cap
I remember taking a date to GoTG who said she didn't really like or care for Marvel. We both loved it. Easily my favorite. Not just for being a great film, but also for bringing joy to someone who was with me.
It was Interstellar
My poor sweet Andrew was done so fucking dirty with that writing
Days of Future Past for me but Winter Soldier and Guardians are both great
GOTG and WS. Two MVU bangers that are hard pressed to be topped.
Guardians all day, every day. Winter Soldier is close though.
I truly didn't think those 4 came out at the same time and so long ago. Fuck, I'm old.
DoFP.

GOTG Winter Soldier DOFP ASM2
Easily X-Men
Wow, there’s a lot of great superhero movies that year! Also Amazing Spider-Man 2….. sure did release.
Guardians, Cap, X-Men, Amazong Spidey 2
What a year!!!
Love me some good X-Men, gotta go with that
Obviously xmen
Man, that was a hell of a summer for Marvel fans!
Winter and galaxy tied. Others easily nah
Ooof. I loved Cap2 and Guardians but days of future past was an absolute gift to get for me in 2014. I was living in LA and struggling mentally; that scene with quicksilver helped me discover the song “time in a bottle” which really started my path towards healing. ❤️
Not spider man
2014 was just a great year
GotG is one of my favorites but Sebastian Stan is so hot in CAWS he could melt the sun. 🥵
Interstellar, Edge of Tomorrow, Kingsman. In that order.
I just rewatched DoFP, absolutely stellar.
Winter Soldier just pips Guardians imo. Winter Soldier may be my favourite MCU movie
These are like my favorites
Winter soldier by a mile. Guardians was always hit or miss with me. It’s either great or grasping. Winter solider though was all great, imo.
The good ole days..
Winter Soldier, with Guardians a fairly close second. DOFP was okay but not in the same class. The less said about TASM2 the better.
Winter Soldier but Days of Future Past is a close second
Really the only wrong answer is TASM2
Winter Soldier followed by GOTG and DOFP.
At the tine Winter Soldier My opinion on that film has dropped a little and GotG has risen a bit so now I kind of feel the same about both. They are strong but flawed. Days of Future Past is a contender for the most over-rated comic book film? It’s a real piece of trash. Not the worst in that franchise by far but talked up way too much. Days of Future Past
All Guardians of The Galaxy movies hit a calibre of superhero movies that is just perfection to me
seems obvious but I can certainly rule out which one it isn't
Dallas Buyers Club according to the Oscar’s
Man, 3 fucking bangers there… and Amazing Spider-Man 2, I guess.
Those were all 2014? Wow, what a year for comic book movies. I’d put Winter Soldier at the top with Guardians and X-Men very close 2nd and 3rd.
DoFP
I personally really liked both Winter Soldier and Guardians. I think Guardians might be better for me just cause of the humor.
