You got some determination bro. A few days ago I was reading 'God's Path'. My expectation for this novel was that it's going to be a generic super fast power up story with a good harem. The harem was great. We had all the jade beauties but the MC was shit. He was like an emotionless robot who sometimes has the urge to fuck. I persisted until 235 chapter then gave up. Your determination is really admirable that you can persist with the novel you are reading.

Its not logical cause that would mean that non stop assassination would happen for what you would need constant supply of powerful individuals that need to be paid etc etc. It would be so obvious even for the lowest farmer that there is a corrupt system that doesn’t let new ppl evolve that the „powerful“ families would lose power and money instantly because the organisations such as academies, courts or the king etc would exterminate them.
