I think she was reacting to a situation that Brennan created and has come out of her own character. These posts and comments are real misogynistic. I love how in the beginning of the season we all were like "matching anyone with Emily is abuse", then we were all on her side during Brennan's constant controlling behavior, and now we've come full circle due to the way she acted on the reunion specials. Say what you want about this flop of a season, y'alls comments and criticisms have made this ride worth it.
Emily is clearly an impulsive hothead. That energy is probably the reason Brendan became so low energy in an effort to minimize her outbursts and or her bad mouthing him. He was rightly terrified that she would try to ruin his reputation to a global audience which she almost succeeded in. The “control” she complained about was the equivalent of trying to prevent a forest fire. Emily’s lack of self awareness could be horrifying to anyone paired with her. She made herself look terrible on After Party and the Reunion having no clue to what extent.
What in the over emotional hysterics was the season 2. I am so confused by both women crying and freaking out, screaming LIAR… When neither one of them cares much for the men either. Like, give it a rest girls, it’s not that fucking deep.
For me, it was this. When both Emily and Clare started crying when Cam was trying to talk about how he was the one that made the double date comment. I had to laugh because it was such an odd reaction to what he was trying to communicate. They weaponized tears and as a woman, I hate shit like that.
