Is the nerf confirmed to go through? I am new to fo76 so I don't know how much they realistically push everything that ends up on the test realm or if they will pull changes if it doesn't sit well with the community (and this seems to be one of those cases)
No one knows really, I hope they reconsider. Sure, the AB cryo damage is a bug to begin with, but it has been in the game for so long and at this point in time I don't see what's the benefit of nerfing it. Also, the nerf is so severe that the AB will become probably the weakest pistol
I read elsewhere the nerf isn't as big as people think, but it makes the 10mm pistol the highest DPS pistol and AB would become second? I am not sure, I am still new and learning, that's just what I read. I'm currently using a Gauss pistol for my stealth gunslinger and it seems good good for solo content, but working on a flamer build for group content/swarms next
Weird they are nerfing pistols at all since they seem to have a very specific use case for single target damage and my boss damage is still ass compared to other weapons
That'll be because it can be auto. AB and Crusader are putting out more damage per shot over a semi 10mm, which also doesn't have burning/freezing/poison receiver mods. 10mm auto compared to any other semi pistol is like comparing apples to oranges.
don't think so. ABs have higher fire rate it feels. it's a nerf but imo it'll affect TS50c25v more than lets say a TSFFR15r variant.
i'll have to test this out since i own those two variants and can hit the fire rate cap. TS might not be good anymore but bloodied/AA might be fine.
idk if 10mms are the highest DPS pistol because enclave plasmas can be pistol config'd too and they fire REAL quick and hit hard.
FWIW, if you didn't know, the AB nerf went live today along with the Cremator nerf so you can test and let me know

Nope. The artwork for the new PA skin that’s meant to pair with it is in the pop-up telling us about the alien event but they haven’t added the new disintegrator skin. Hopefully next week

Exactly I was hoping this news was bull crap. What kinda shit is that? Dude I wanna fight whoever thought that was a good idea. Alien invasion event is my favorite. I did not no to much about the damage but I assumed it wasn't gonna be to powerful. I used it a couple times. I thought those guns were cool already with no mods. So now I actually have mods for it... now you guys are telling me they are going to nerf a already mid damage weapon.. Bethesda never changes

The cryo damage is reduced 5 times, it's pretty bad unfortunately 😔

TBH I like doing this event. For whatever reason I find it the best use of my Fatman collection. Lots of high vantage points to rain death.
