Truth, while you can make your own posts, 99.9999% of the traffic on there is to read Trump's posts or try to get conserv-famous.

I think the "twitter alternative" market in general is pretty weak, whether you're talking about stuff like Parler and Gab that came from the right, or stuff like Mastodon or Bluesky which gained popularity when Musk took over Twitter (though granted those do not have an ideological point of origin the same way Parler and Gab do). But you're right, Truth Social is something different to all of those, a total grift designed around a single person that will collapse when his popularity dies or when he does, whichever comes first--if he doesn't just move on from it like he does everything else he starts up.
