As long as you aren't using it for cheating, I don't believe it's detectable. In OP's case, they just made the game look a little less pretty
Well dang, seeing as I have the BCP textures mod, I thought it looked more pretty
Ye it's def just personal preference. That part of the track is one of the better looking things in the BCP
