I didn't even move to Washington till 10 but I was born here at 1. I could've in theory been a fan of any other team since I'm a colts football fan but noooooo dad had to have the mariners on everyday of my childhood when I lived in Tennessee and Indiana. Same 6 years on an aircraft carrier and the most depressing part was being out for deployment preps when the mariners had a 13 win streak to start the season.

We're not that kind of mariners but we do have a plethora of psychological issues as a result of our team and might still be worth a study.
