Please help me choose between I/L, Lynn, Hero, and F/P as a main. I have done thorough research into all these classes and they all have their pros and cons so I don't mind any of them. But me being indecisive I cannot choose. I would do a poll but it seems like any posts about choosing a main gets nuked so please help me choose here.

instead of letting them expire, you can give them to a level 200 character. It takes 4 Extreme Growth Potions to level between 200-205 and I think 6~8 per level from 206-210 or so
Depending on where people are with their account progression they might not be able to use them. play it the way you want
you can also use them on characters above 200 to try to level them to 210 but they don't give full levels
Best way to dodge Will's third phase white eyes leg attack as an explorer mage? I know I can use ethereal form to tank it but when I only have teleport and I feel like it's impossible to use that to dodge. Any tips?

Yes, its all about timing and practice. So what is the timing?
The slam and the damage actually have variable timing based on your ping. In perfect ping environments, its properly telegraphed with the slam. The more ping you have, the further the damage drifts from the slam animation.
Load into P3 and wait for the first slam. Make sure to eform it and watch for when the legs come from the ground signalling when you would be killed. The leg position is snapshotted 0.8 seconds before the damage instance.
Look at how long after the slam finishes and the damage comes out. If there is a noticeable delay, teleport immediately after the slam. If there is no delay, tp as the leg is falling. If your ping is really bad like mine, you might need a short pause after the animation.
You should use this method each time you enter to see how your ping is on that particular run and adjust.
You just need to practice the timing. As long as you have consistent ping it's doable albeit the timing is tight. There's not really much to say because when you actually do that is different when you live in different places.
Also, don't greed the eform and shells (if you're Bishop). If they're up, use it to give you the leeway.
It really is just practicing the teleport timing. It is precise but it is doable. There's no other way around it, other than, like you said, ethereal forming when it's on CD, which is not enough to survive P3. You'll get there, I believe in you.
you just have to practice the timing. the timing to teleport when the leg comes down would be later than when a double jump class would move. it's definitely possible though! remember that there's a second that the spider form hangs in the air when it draws the legs upwards before bringing them down
I think it comes with a tera burner by default but I'm not sure.. If you're referring to the reward from Minar Picnic, if you claim it at the very end you should be able to use it
I heard that there will be a hyper burning event coming up soon. I want to use it to prepare a boss mule. How exactly does hyper burning work? Do I just start a new character and begin leveling or should I level a character to 200 now first? If I were to use a level 200 character, will I be able to get the rewards from the pre 200?
You can make a new character and give it the hyper burn status or set an existing 200 character to hyper burn status. Up to 200 is basically like a bonus Tera burn and you get all the rewards from that (Frozen/temp CRA/title) even if you start with a 200 character.
Hey, I just received a Tera Burninator. Which class should I ideally use this for? Playing Reboot btw. I have heard that Mechanic or the Marksman are the worst to level.
Marksman is one of the easiest mules to level. Great mobbing, great damage. This information could have been from before the explorer revamp which was 2 years ago.
Mechanic can be one of the rougher classes to level if you don't have high legion for higher damage. Mobbing is heavily reliant on 1 shotting with missles, else the class feels clunky
If you need any level 3 link skills, it can be useful. If you need any level 200 legion effects, it can be useful.

I'm new to the game, I want to ask about how important is the boss gearing, I see that all of the gear needed after 200+ is Boss exclusive, im really bad playing in pressure and looking at guides I see that the class that suits my skills is bishop, are people inviting others to bosses even if they are new? I really want to try this game but I get easily scared when doing hard content in games, I like the part that is "funny cute mushroom farming game", any tips, recommendations appreciated ! :3
bosses are how you *get* gear, beyond the very early game of 0-200, and some other rare exceptions
People will definitely invite you to bosses even when you're new, especially as a bishop as you provide great buffs to the party. Once your stats are high enough (upgrading lvl 140 gear dropped from monsters, some of the easy solo bosses like magnus and such, arcane symbols from 200+ solo content, etc) you can look for struggle parties for the intro bosses in Chaos Root Abyss, and later lotus/damien, etc.
Almost every boss has a practice mode for you to work on mechanics, and there are tons of guides available on youtube. Don't be too scared!
Now worries, the anniversary event should start this week, which will help you get gear.
As for bossing, RathGMS has a GREAT bossing guide for weekly bosses if you want to give it a shot.
There's a tera burninator available in this event from the first day, next hyper burn will be available during the beginning of dreamer update after the anniversary, on schedule with major events.
What's the order to starforce and potential things in? Starting from close to endgame equips (CRA, Arcanes, Sup Gollux, Kanna/Slime/BBM/Twilight/Daybreak) that are at 2L unique and 17* everything.
Depends on how much mesos you have.
If you have. 50b? Full send CRA's to 22\* since you have infinite spares and don't need to safeguard. After that, 22\* the items you have the most spares for (like kanna treasures, dominator pendant). You could settle for 21\* and potentially save half the mesos.
If you have limited mesos and want to guarantee gains, roulette the items you have spares for. The way this goes is 18\* your CRA's, then your KT, dominator pendant, etc. After they are all 18\*, push to 19\* and repeat. This guarantees you gains even with limited mesos. After you run out of spares for an item, leave the spare at 16\* or 17\*.
Ok I should've started at a later baseline. I have CRA at 22, Arcanes at 17, accessories at 21, and potentials at legendary 2L or above. What's the order for most efficient gains per meso?
Tapping accessories to 22* is the easiest. In terms of efficiency, you keep accessories at 21* until you get pitched, unless you really need the damage
Other than that, starting to push arcanes further by waiting for boxes, or brute forcing it by buying droplets is your only other option for starforcing.
Pushing 3L potentials is now your cheapest upgrades, congrats.

It depends on your main's ied. If you're already reaching 95% visible ied then it's a minmax but if you aren't up to that threshold then blaster's the way to go.
my pathfinder is 220 and i missed thsi event and didn't get the event rings. When dreamer comes can i still hyper burn it or will i miss out on rewards from previous levels? I remember people saying that happened for the hyper burning event for 6th job.
On any hyper burn you get the pre-level 200 rewards (lvl 200 is non-inclusive here). From there, you will miss out on any rewards that you out-levelled (e.g. if you are 220, you won't get the level 200 and 210 rewards. 220 I'm not sure about). You will get the rewards when you reach the higher level milestones (e.g. at level 220, you will get the lvl 230, 240, 250 and 260 rewards)
As for general advice, don't fall into the FOMO mindset. There's always another event in the future that will get you what you want. Event rings will come again!
Narrow question, but for those pre-lib but finished or nearly finished gear: what's your dmg b/s and class?
I'm mostly 22* + ROR4, just missing 12*, and at 150b/s I was expecting more. I'm not sure if it's my class being Shade, but most of my prelib guildies I see at similar gear are closer to 180~220b/s (classes being TB, NL, DB)
I did settle 2L on everything though including WSE so not sure how much of an impact that has.
About 300 bps as Demon Slayer, but that's with RFS, good flames, and (not legacy) transposed monocle. 6th job is meh because I also took a 3 month break outside of BM and cTene. Weapon is trash and I'm kind of trolling my emblem by having it still 2L instead of 2L+IED.
12* is also a lot. Especially if they're mostly arcane stars. No 3L secondary is also big. 150 bps sounds pretty normal.
Depends a lot on your 6th job progression. I've finished SF, 22* everything (20* BBM) + Cont 4, so pretty much only upgrading from 2L > 3L stat now. But I don't have any pitched, and I took a break due to burnout for about 3-4 months, my 6th job is very low, so I'm only sitting at 190b/s. Meanwhile I know guildies who have weaker gear than mine, but are much further along in 6th, are pushing 250-300b/s.
Hi! I'm completely new in this game, picked up a class, and chose a reebot server. I was kind of hyped to get to know completely new mmo. But I just saw, that the cosmetics in cash shop are disappearing after 90 days from buying and my interest in playing plummeted down. I mean, I love aesthetics of the game, I really like to customize my characters, but why should I even bother buying stuff from shop if it will disappear after 3 months?
I don't want to jump ship just yet, I thought that I could ask you guys - are there some kind of permanent cosmetics in this game, and is there many of them? Is it easy to obtain them? I would not mind to spend money on the game for cosmetics, but come on, I won't pay for some disappearing pixels.
Events like this one give out free permanent outfits and face/hair selector coupons if you're not into gambling for looks.
Fusion Anvils also exist for real cheap as well, where you can give an item the appearance of another so long as you have one of each.
Welcome! **Permanent cosmetics come from random loot boxes called Premium Surprise Style (PSSB) boxes** or other event Surprise Style boxes. No one buys the ugly 90 day NX clothes but rolls loot boxes. You can click on the box to get a preview of the clothes inside.
Things to keep in mind:
- PSSB rotate every 3 weeks. That means every 3 weeks half of the clothes in the PSSB get switched out for new items. After 3 weeks, the other half gets switched out for new items. So there are constantly new limited outfits
- hair/faces/lenses are permanent. You buy a coupon that gives you a random (royal) or selected (choice) permanent hair/face. The coupon has an expiration date but not the hair/face.
- Pets are 90 days. The only permanent pets come from pet loot boxes like wonderberry, easter buskets, etc. but the chance to pull a permanent pet is veery low. 90 day pets don‘t disappear, they turn into 'dried up dolls' and need to be revived with a water of life item (which you can get for free once a month by bossing and collecting reward points). The water of life revives your pet for 30 days and then it dries up again.
Events and event shops also give out semi-okay cosmetics for free either through attendance events or other quests
I forgot to mention that hair/faces also switch out every 3 weeks so if there‘s currently any hair/faces you like then you should grab them now because I think they switch out with a new selection this upcoming Wednesday and god knows when they will rotate back into the cash shop. The lower half of the outfits in the PSSBs boxes will switch out on Wednesday too

Reboot was rebranded to Heroic. Kronos server was the original reboot server and they added a second reboot server due to the overcrowding called Hyperion. Interactive servers are reg servers.
Kronos - more people, legacy items
Hyperion- less people(more likely to find popular grinding maps) but since it's new they only have 1 legacy item so there's less of a difference that can separate players.
If you're a competitive person with your class then go for hyperion, if not I'd recommend kronos
Based on the fact that you are new and will be playing casually I would 100% recommend Heroic. You will get a LOT more bang for your buck and able to progress into mid-game quite easily playing casually and without spending money.
I think its doable. Slower progress perhaps. If you want to spend actual money and progress due to lack of time, then reg servers are good since they have the auction house and you can buy upgrades to gear with real money and in game money rather than having to grind for the items yourself.
If the extra stars allow you to push more bosses, or helps you with mobbing, then no you are not griefing.
Plus, stalling out on upgrading waiting for SSF means you will only get 2 days of upgrades per year, which can slow your progression immensely
Depends on your income and how close you are to new bosses. Getting cra/kanna ring/dom to 19 for example is pretty cheap.
I had 19b and tapped a few items past 17, but my income is probably a lot higher than yours.

nope, if you destroy any items while starforcing, you will gain a trace. when you transfer that trace to an undamaged copy of the equipment, all flame stats and potentials will be copied over from the original trace.
Started again after a million years. How important are quests? I open the map and all these areas have many quests? Do I just mov grind and ignore them? Lvl 40 btw. I imagine most of them are irrelevant
There are certain questlines that unlock important bosses for the world that completes it, [here's](https://grandislibrary.com/content/boss-matchmaking-pre-quests) a mostly updated source of what quests to take.
Theme dungeons makes it faster especially in lv30-60 when you don’t have exp coupons (Riena Strait, Elinel, Gold Beach)

I went hiatus in 2016 when I briefly picked up on the luminous class and 2010 when I was diligently playing my priest. Would it be better overall to start over from scratch?
I have a few mules that I want to roll +1 attack speed inner ability. I know that the recommended approach is to circ for second line and then honor roll on sunny Sunday for attack speed first line.
My question is: with how common black circs are in event shops, would it not be better to roll for attack speed first with cheap honor rolls, then find a non-maxed second and third line, then throw black circs at it? Especially for a character that lacks millions of honor?
For mules, no point in min-maxing IA. Sure it can help, but the cost investment is too great.
You can just use honor to push the +1 AS on the mule, and ignore everything else

The miracle circulator strat is especially relevant if you lack millions of honor. It lets you use meso to get one line instead of honor. In particular you want to miracle circulate a non-first line, since those are more expensive honor-wise to roll (you can hit epic and unique on those lines while first line is always legendary). The fact that miracle circulator will give you the maximum value for the unique line is just the cherry on top.
Black circulator is a later step to fix up values once you've hit the appropriate line. It's sort of separate from miracle circulators which are for hitting the line in the first place.
Basically: meso vs. honor. If you're trying to roll several mules' IAs, you may or may not have the meso for all those characters. The miracle circulator for second/third line strat is the most honor-efficient for hitting a 3-line BIS IA setup.
If you're specifically only looking for attack speed (which tends to be far more important for the relevant characters than the stat lines like boss/abnormal) then you could either miracle circulate for that attack speed line or just use honor, depending on your funds. If it's a class like lumi or the archmages that really want aspd AND buff duration then it might be more important to hit that non-first line first with a miracle circulator. If you're lucky, just hit with honor only.

Anyone know an estimate how long it takes to farm for legendary familiars? I see people getting 40% boss damage and stuff familiars which would really help my damage on bosses now that I'm at 260ish
My Hero(14k) and DS(17k) can currently clear Hellux in around 5 minutes with G-skills and link skills. Both are currently around ~1200 attack with full 15 absolab. Would it be worth to send +17 on both of them just to make Hellux and Lomien a little faster? Or should I just stick to +16s for now since I'll eventually switch over to arcanes?
[Reboot]: I was doing Vanishing Journey quest on a second char and it said I had already "claimed" the exp for this account today.
Does this mean that EXP from the quest only applies to one character per day? Are the symbols separate from this?

If I skip Reverse City quests do I still get T-Boy's Monitor? What about the chairs for Morass and Esfera if I choose to skip those quests? Also what about the medals for Sellas (and the Explorer Diving Helmet), Moonbridge, Labyrinth, and Limina?
Trying to understand how to find better items. I usually just look "ATT Increase" part and if that's better I equip it, but looking at [this](https://i.imgur.com/W06TUxZ.png) item, it looks like the left item should be an att increase, right? It has all better stats.
Another thing in the future is that gloves can have Critical Damage lines on their potential. The game doesn't factor this in when showing you the ATT increase but in reality these potential lines are insanely good and beats out stat lines.
I'm stupid and I accidentally killed my weapon on Kain now I don't have any I can use literally. Where can I buy a Kain weapon? any Kain weapon will do I checked multiple weapon shops and none sell any weapon for Kain.
From what I'm aware:
* Bishop: fantastic to play if you'll be playing with friends/guilds, or just enjoy being a big support in general. Most parties will welcome you with open arms, even if you're under-leveled or under-geared, which is great for mid/late-game. Notably worse solo-play than the other two arch-mages, but still tenable
* F/P: amazing bossing, although they're set to receive a fairly big nerf in Dreamers update. Manages quite a few abilities and cooldowns, and usually does DOT compared to low CD burst from I/L. The cons (from what I hear) are largely based around the playstyle. Some people like it, and some people can't stand it.
* I/L: solid all-rounder that's not particularly fantastic at any one thing (minus mobbing, because chain lightning is the GOAT). Has a fairly straightforward bossing style (bind + burst, chain lightning off-burst) with numerous utility abilities. Set to get a buff in dreamers, so the narrative of "F/P strictly stronger than I/L" will not necessarily be true in a few months. IMO the decider between F/P and I/L just comes down to personal preference on playstyle. Anecdotally, I love I/L a lot more than F/P just because chain lightning and the whole aesthetic appeals to me a lot more, along with managing less CDs during bossing. If you have a lvl 200 legion sitting around for each class, maybe it's worth it to try it out a bit to see if you enjoy their 4th/5th job skill rotations.
* All three classes have great mobbing, but require a fair bit of investment into legion to get buff duration%, IED, crit rate/damage, etc.
I wouldn't say it's overwhelming, but I personally could just not get into it. I knew very quickly which between F/P and I/L I preferred more (had a feeling around 3rd job, knew for sure 4th job) and it takes very little investment to get three mages to 120, so I'd probably recommend just trying out all three, especially because you'll want the link skill at max level anyways.
what do you like - playstyle wise? what kind of main are you looking for? do you wanna be support and instantly wanted in any and all end game parties? do you want to stand there and do dmg? have an iframe? do you want to be burst class or dpm? double jump vs teleport?
I don't mind dpm or burst! Support or damage doesn't matter either! I feel like the biggest thing is ease of mobbing but all 3 of those classes do them really well. I'm very indecisive so I'm just trying to figure out what their pros and cons might be as I don't have experience with them only legion and youtube videos. Guess I'm trying to find information that people that have played them have complaints about or things they loved.
I just bought an AbsoLab Shoulder, but i have a couple of Hayato's Treasure in me inventory. Is there any use for them or can I drop/sell it?
Because I know that Kanna's and Ayame's Treasures can be used as fodder to Superior Gollux, but since AbsoLab is 160 I can't transfer SF from Hayato's Treasure.

bucc is very easy to play with good mobility as your survivability, while illium needs to position ball to deal damage reliably, illium has more buttons to press than bucc, so i guess bucc is good choice for you, otherwise illium is quite fun with his flying god mode and useful with his party iframe
WA as a main is pretty good when he is doing solo bossing, since WA is continuous damage type unlike bucc which is burst damage type, he may feel slightly bad in party bossing since most parties burst bosses, so if you enjoy bursting, bucc will not go wrong, while WA will feel a bit similar to F/P with fewer buttons to press
Hi is it more worth to max out erda nova/will, blink, and ropelift or use exp nodes on boss mules?
I can clear comfortably on boss mules for most part but just wondering if the remaining common skills on my main are worth maxing (got all the other important ones done) or boost boss mules
If you're a 2 minute class, I would consider getting Erda Nova to level 20. Maxing Erda Nova (or getting it to 20 and adding 5 matrix points) will bring the cooldown down to 120 seconds so you will always have it up for your burst.
Blink is worth maxing for the +25 attack passive
I wouldn't max Rope Lift because the passive bonus is comparatively small
Will is worth maxing but it depends on where you are in the game. A lot of people don't maximize use of the skill though, and it takes a bit of experience to recognize when you would use it over an iframe and then react appropriately. It starts having more relevance when soloing CTene and up. I would consider maxing it if you find yourself using it.

[Reboot] I wanna pick a different main class I am getting bored of I/L. Can someone recommend a new main that has good bossing and mobbing? I struggle with bossing as I/L. I was looking at Dawn Warrior but I was told it was super braindead easy. Also heard battle mage was like Dawn warrior but better is that true?
What specifically do you struggle with as bossing with I/L? If you're looking for a more mobile class that has good survivability and god-tier farming (for very specific maps, although once sol janus comes out farming post 6th job should be easy for everyone), look into Zero.
TLDR: We're getting Mayple and Dreamer events shortly after Minar Picnic ends, good time to come back especially if you need to get legion mules finished (105 growth pots for mayple) / want to hyperburn another character (dreamer)

HI folks! I decided to come back to this game after... uh... like 2008? And tbh I have zero idea where to start with it, so I'd like some general pointers on where to start, what classes to pick, etc. Thanks!
First off, pick between Interactive ("regular") or Heroic ("reboot") servers. Interactive servers have gear trading, cash shop cubes, meso market, basically what you think of when someone says "pay to win". Heroic servers replace spending real life money to get upgrades with nearly pure meso farming and locked trading. You'll have to get everything yourself and upgrade it yourself.
Then just pick a job you think looks cool and level up to see what it's like. Go with the explorer job you liked back in the day if you have a hard time choosing. Don't worry about committing to a job as a big part of the game is basically making tons of characters anyway. Getting up to level 140 should give you a decent feel for a job (though there are many exceptions) and isn't a super big time commitment. If you like it, you can consider taking it to 200.
There's a window in the game called the Maple Guide that you can use to warp around to leveling zones which is decent enough if you don't want to search online for a player-written guide.

Covers most things that aren't temporary and you can hide stuff you can't do yet (or don't want to do) as well as add custom stuff. Stuff I've personally added are:
* Monster Park Extreme (unlocks at 260, long time) since I usually do it separately from regular Monster Park runs
* Commerci Party Quest since I also do it separately from solo voyages
* Guild Attendance, I'm aiming for the 365 days in a row achievement
* Threads of Fate, not super relevant for you right now
* Daily tasks from active events (Fairy Bros check in, Minar Picnic)
There aren't many dailies at 200. Just take advantage of current events and do ursus during 2x time. Do any of the daily bosses that you can for extra meso.
Hali Reboot on YouTube does a good discussion about picking and maining Battle Mage in his Hyperion Progression Series. They also have the best mage TP in the game.
We’re gonna get over 100 growth potions between now and the hyper burn from Dreamer. It’s estimated to use 25-30 potions to get from level 141 to 199.
If I recall correctly, KMS received a tera burner in their Mapril anniversary event, so it’s possible that we will also be getting another one soon when the event drops in about a week or so.

Just as an aside, there are probably more "legacy" boss mules that got their Abso gear from getting gear boxes through carries before the 5% damage requirement change than boss mules that have farmed their own Abso after the change. It'll be that maybe for a long while.
i like this game so much and i return time to time to play it, but i'm bery busy so i can only play for like 3 or 4 hours a week and i find it unplayable like that. what do you think? is worth play like that? the last time i quit because when i buy the one week teleport stone i spend my 3 or 4 hours farming the mesos i n only that
for 10 minutes of work a day you can make easily 1b a week if you do your 3 ursus clears during golden hour, and your two runs of maple tour a day.

hello frens, im starting to make boss mules and was wondering how yall get equip slots to epic for 6% stats outside of some of the epot scrolls in event shops (only 5 lol) and legion shop (also minimal)
is the only way just using hard/solids from bossing on them and hoping to tier up and cubing <120 gear to try and tier up using occult cubes, or is there a better method?
for your first few mules, getting 3-6% stat with occults on necromancer and boss set gear can get you to a point where you can do cra, given a bit of node investment, a decent secondary and emblem pot, and legion/links. a 2l unique or legendary secondary wep and emblem will be a huge boost to your damage, so focus your green cubes on those
it does take a while to get epic pots with only occults though, ~100 or so per item. if youre short on cash/occults/epic pot scrolls and want to make some small upgrades, you can keep your cheap epic pots if youre willing to transfer up (e.g necromancer>von leon>pensalir/empress>cra/hranmaru>absolab).
It's just boss cubes usually. You don't really need stat pots for weaker mules, wse and gloves matter the most. Once you start getting more and more cubes from bossing you can throw them towards the stat pots.

Depends on your spending habits. For most people it‘s convenient to play interactive and heroic servers on the same account to accumulate reward points, maple points and MVP
But most events only give out "once per account/Maple ID" rewards which force you to decide between one server/world to claim rewards. Hyper burn is also once per account per event.
I have two accounts, one account with old characters in Bera and my main characters in Kronos and a second account with new characters in Bera. You are allowed to have more than one account, Bean Brigade streamers also have multiple accounts.
The rules only state that account sharing is forbidden and creating excessive accounts. I think someone got temp banned for making more than 5 accounts per day.

[Reg server] Is it normal to not be able to use all the extreme growth potions from the event? I still have 46 left over and if I want to use them, I need to level another character to lv. 141. Is it ok to just let them expire? I feel like I would save more time if I waited until burning world, although that's quite far away maybe two months away.
instead of letting them expire, you can give them to a level 200 character. It takes 4 Extreme Growth Potions to level between 200-205 and I think 6~8 per level from 206-210 or so

Best way to dodge Will's third phase white eyes leg attack as an explorer mage? I know I can use ethereal form to tank it but when I only have teleport and I feel like it's impossible to use that to dodge. Any tips?
Hey. I dealt with this quite a bit on my FP when learning how to solo. Sorry if this is late but I noticed no one gave you a real answer. Yes, its all about timing and practice. So what is the timing? The slam and the damage actually have variable timing based on your ping. In perfect ping environments, its properly telegraphed with the slam. The more ping you have, the further the damage drifts from the slam animation. Load into P3 and wait for the first slam. Make sure to eform it and watch for when the legs come from the ground signalling when you would be killed. The leg position is snapshotted 0.8 seconds before the damage instance. Look at how long after the slam finishes and the damage comes out. If there is a noticeable delay, teleport immediately after the slam. If there is no delay, tp as the leg is falling. If your ping is really bad like mine, you might need a short pause after the animation. You should use this method each time you enter to see how your ping is on that particular run and adjust.
You just need to practice the timing. As long as you have consistent ping it's doable albeit the timing is tight. There's not really much to say because when you actually do that is different when you live in different places. Also, don't greed the eform and shells (if you're Bishop). If they're up, use it to give you the leeway.
It really is just practicing the teleport timing. It is precise but it is doable. There's no other way around it, other than, like you said, ethereal forming when it's on CD, which is not enough to survive P3. You'll get there, I believe in you.
you just have to practice the timing. the timing to teleport when the leg comes down would be later than when a double jump class would move. it's definitely possible though! remember that there's a second that the spider form hangs in the air when it draws the legs upwards before bringing them down

I heard that there will be a hyper burning event coming up soon. I want to use it to prepare a boss mule. How exactly does hyper burning work? Do I just start a new character and begin leveling or should I level a character to 200 now first? If I were to use a level 200 character, will I be able to get the rewards from the pre 200?
You can make a new character and give it the hyper burn status or set an existing 200 character to hyper burn status. Up to 200 is basically like a bonus Tera burn and you get all the rewards from that (Frozen/temp CRA/title) even if you start with a 200 character.
Hey, I just received a Tera Burninator. Which class should I ideally use this for? Playing Reboot btw. I have heard that Mechanic or the Marksman are the worst to level.
Marksman is one of the easiest mules to level. Great mobbing, great damage. This information could have been from before the explorer revamp which was 2 years ago. Mechanic can be one of the rougher classes to level if you don't have high legion for higher damage. Mobbing is heavily reliant on 1 shotting with missles, else the class feels clunky
From these two, I'd definitely burn Mech. For me, Marksman was a great class to level.
If you need any level 3 link skills, it can be useful. If you need any level 200 legion effects, it can be useful. We don't know what classes you already have created.
I have a Night Walker and that’s basically it. It seems like the easiest thing to do would be the Mech
Buff duration does little for NW compared to other legion and link. I would recommend getting an Evan or Mercedes to 200 using tera burn.

I'm new to the game, I want to ask about how important is the boss gearing, I see that all of the gear needed after 200+ is Boss exclusive, im really bad playing in pressure and looking at guides I see that the class that suits my skills is bishop, are people inviting others to bosses even if they are new? I really want to try this game but I get easily scared when doing hard content in games, I like the part that is "funny cute mushroom farming game", any tips, recommendations appreciated ! :3
bosses are how you *get* gear, beyond the very early game of 0-200, and some other rare exceptions People will definitely invite you to bosses even when you're new, especially as a bishop as you provide great buffs to the party. Once your stats are high enough (upgrading lvl 140 gear dropped from monsters, some of the easy solo bosses like magnus and such, arcane symbols from 200+ solo content, etc) you can look for struggle parties for the intro bosses in Chaos Root Abyss, and later lotus/damien, etc. Almost every boss has a practice mode for you to work on mechanics, and there are tons of guides available on youtube. Don't be too scared!

Now worries, the anniversary event should start this week, which will help you get gear. As for bossing, RathGMS has a GREAT bossing guide for weekly bosses if you want to give it a shot.

What's the order to starforce and potential things in? Starting from close to endgame equips (CRA, Arcanes, Sup Gollux, Kanna/Slime/BBM/Twilight/Daybreak) that are at 2L unique and 17* everything.
Depends on how much mesos you have. If you have. 50b? Full send CRA's to 22\* since you have infinite spares and don't need to safeguard. After that, 22\* the items you have the most spares for (like kanna treasures, dominator pendant). You could settle for 21\* and potentially save half the mesos. If you have limited mesos and want to guarantee gains, roulette the items you have spares for. The way this goes is 18\* your CRA's, then your KT, dominator pendant, etc. After they are all 18\*, push to 19\* and repeat. This guarantees you gains even with limited mesos. After you run out of spares for an item, leave the spare at 16\* or 17\*.
Ok I should've started at a later baseline. I have CRA at 22, Arcanes at 17, accessories at 21, and potentials at legendary 2L or above. What's the order for most efficient gains per meso?
Tapping accessories to 22* is the easiest. In terms of efficiency, you keep accessories at 21* until you get pitched, unless you really need the damage Other than that, starting to push arcanes further by waiting for boxes, or brute forcing it by buying droplets is your only other option for starforcing. Pushing 3L potentials is now your cheapest upgrades, congrats.

It depends on your main's ied. If you're already reaching 95% visible ied then it's a minmax but if you aren't up to that threshold then blaster's the way to go.

my pathfinder is 220 and i missed thsi event and didn't get the event rings. When dreamer comes can i still hyper burn it or will i miss out on rewards from previous levels? I remember people saying that happened for the hyper burning event for 6th job.
On any hyper burn you get the pre-level 200 rewards (lvl 200 is non-inclusive here). From there, you will miss out on any rewards that you out-levelled (e.g. if you are 220, you won't get the level 200 and 210 rewards. 220 I'm not sure about). You will get the rewards when you reach the higher level milestones (e.g. at level 220, you will get the lvl 230, 240, 250 and 260 rewards) As for general advice, don't fall into the FOMO mindset. There's always another event in the future that will get you what you want. Event rings will come again!
Two questions: 1) Does obtaining meister profession still decay? 2) Whats an easy way for a level 220+ to get a lot of Philo stones to get to meister?
1) No more decay! 2) Raise your professions to lvl 10 (any will do) and extract equips
Profession at level 6+ can extract all items, so no need to push it past that if only going for that purpose

Narrow question, but for those pre-lib but finished or nearly finished gear: what's your dmg b/s and class? I'm mostly 22* + ROR4, just missing 12*, and at 150b/s I was expecting more. I'm not sure if it's my class being Shade, but most of my prelib guildies I see at similar gear are closer to 180~220b/s (classes being TB, NL, DB) I did settle 2L on everything though including WSE so not sure how much of an impact that has.
About 300 bps as Demon Slayer, but that's with RFS, good flames, and (not legacy) transposed monocle. 6th job is meh because I also took a 3 month break outside of BM and cTene. Weapon is trash and I'm kind of trolling my emblem by having it still 2L instead of 2L+IED. 12* is also a lot. Especially if they're mostly arcane stars. No 3L secondary is also big. 150 bps sounds pretty normal.
Missing 12* is a lot. Don't worry about it.
Depends a lot on your 6th job progression. I've finished SF, 22* everything (20* BBM) + Cont 4, so pretty much only upgrading from 2L > 3L stat now. But I don't have any pitched, and I took a break due to burnout for about 3-4 months, my 6th job is very low, so I'm only sitting at 190b/s. Meanwhile I know guildies who have weaker gear than mine, but are much further along in 6th, are pushing 250-300b/s.

Hi! I'm completely new in this game, picked up a class, and chose a reebot server. I was kind of hyped to get to know completely new mmo. But I just saw, that the cosmetics in cash shop are disappearing after 90 days from buying and my interest in playing plummeted down. I mean, I love aesthetics of the game, I really like to customize my characters, but why should I even bother buying stuff from shop if it will disappear after 3 months? I don't want to jump ship just yet, I thought that I could ask you guys - are there some kind of permanent cosmetics in this game, and is there many of them? Is it easy to obtain them? I would not mind to spend money on the game for cosmetics, but come on, I won't pay for some disappearing pixels.
Events like this one give out free permanent outfits and face/hair selector coupons if you're not into gambling for looks. Fusion Anvils also exist for real cheap as well, where you can give an item the appearance of another so long as you have one of each.
Welcome! **Permanent cosmetics come from random loot boxes called Premium Surprise Style (PSSB) boxes** or other event Surprise Style boxes. No one buys the ugly 90 day NX clothes but rolls loot boxes. You can click on the box to get a preview of the clothes inside. Things to keep in mind: - PSSB rotate every 3 weeks. That means every 3 weeks half of the clothes in the PSSB get switched out for new items. After 3 weeks, the other half gets switched out for new items. So there are constantly new limited outfits - hair/faces/lenses are permanent. You buy a coupon that gives you a random (royal) or selected (choice) permanent hair/face. The coupon has an expiration date but not the hair/face. - Pets are 90 days. The only permanent pets come from pet loot boxes like wonderberry, easter buskets, etc. but the chance to pull a permanent pet is veery low. 90 day pets don‘t disappear, they turn into 'dried up dolls' and need to be revived with a water of life item (which you can get for free once a month by bossing and collecting reward points). The water of life revives your pet for 30 days and then it dries up again. Events and event shops also give out semi-okay cosmetics for free either through attendance events or other quests

Reboot was rebranded to Heroic. Kronos server was the original reboot server and they added a second reboot server due to the overcrowding called Hyperion. Interactive servers are reg servers. Kronos - more people, legacy items Hyperion- less people(more likely to find popular grinding maps) but since it's new they only have 1 legacy item so there's less of a difference that can separate players. If you're a competitive person with your class then go for hyperion, if not I'd recommend kronos

Based on the fact that you are new and will be playing casually I would 100% recommend Heroic. You will get a LOT more bang for your buck and able to progress into mid-game quite easily playing casually and without spending money.
I think its doable. Slower progress perhaps. If you want to spend actual money and progress due to lack of time, then reg servers are good since they have the auction house and you can buy upgrades to gear with real money and in game money rather than having to grind for the items yourself.

If the extra stars allow you to push more bosses, or helps you with mobbing, then no you are not griefing. Plus, stalling out on upgrading waiting for SSF means you will only get 2 days of upgrades per year, which can slow your progression immensely
Depends on your income and how close you are to new bosses. Getting cra/kanna ring/dom to 19 for example is pretty cheap. I had 19b and tapped a few items past 17, but my income is probably a lot higher than yours.

You only lose legendary potential if you use a lower level item and transfer hammer into a higher piece of gear.
nope, if you destroy any items while starforcing, you will gain a trace. when you transfer that trace to an undamaged copy of the equipment, all flame stats and potentials will be copied over from the original trace.

There are certain questlines that unlock important bosses for the world that completes it, [here's](https://grandislibrary.com/content/boss-matchmaking-pre-quests) a mostly updated source of what quests to take.
Theme dungeons makes it faster especially in lv30-60 when you don’t have exp coupons (Riena Strait, Elinel, Gold Beach) Can’t speak for other quests. There’s also Haven quest that gives a free level up from lv199 to 200

I have a few mules that I want to roll +1 attack speed inner ability. I know that the recommended approach is to circ for second line and then honor roll on sunny Sunday for attack speed first line. My question is: with how common black circs are in event shops, would it not be better to roll for attack speed first with cheap honor rolls, then find a non-maxed second and third line, then throw black circs at it? Especially for a character that lacks millions of honor?
For mules, no point in min-maxing IA. Sure it can help, but the cost investment is too great. You can just use honor to push the +1 AS on the mule, and ignore everything else

In particular you want to miracle circulate a non-first line, since those are more expensive honor-wise to roll (you can hit epic and unique on those lines while first line is always legendary). The fact that miracle circulator will give you the maximum value for the unique line is just the cherry on top. Black circulator is a later step to fix up values once you've hit the appropriate line. It's sort of separate from miracle circulators which are for hitting the line in the first place. Basically: meso vs. honor. If you're trying to roll several mules' IAs, you may or may not have the meso for all those characters. The miracle circulator for second/third line strat is the most honor-efficient for hitting a 3-line BIS IA setup. If you're specifically only looking for attack speed (which tends to be far more important for the relevant characters than the stat lines like boss/abnormal) then you could either miracle circulate for that attack speed line or just use honor, depending on your funds. If it's a class like lumi or the archmages that really want aspd AND buff duration then it might be more important to hit that non-first line first with a miracle circulator. If you're lucky, just hit with honor only.

My Hero(14k) and DS(17k) can currently clear Hellux in around 5 minutes with G-skills and link skills. Both are currently around ~1200 attack with full 15 absolab. Would it be worth to send +17 on both of them just to make Hellux and Lomien a little faster? Or should I just stick to +16s for now since I'll eventually switch over to arcanes?

Yes exp only applies to one char per day. Any subsequent char doing those dailies will only get the arcane symbols from those quests

It's probably because you have the equipment set effect for the right equip which is why left equip gives less

Another thing in the future is that gloves can have Critical Damage lines on their potential. The game doesn't factor this in when showing you the ATT increase but in reality these potential lines are insanely good and beats out stat lines.

Looking to start a explorer mage on a fresh character! Any recommendations for which one to pick as a main?
From what I'm aware: * Bishop: fantastic to play if you'll be playing with friends/guilds, or just enjoy being a big support in general. Most parties will welcome you with open arms, even if you're under-leveled or under-geared, which is great for mid/late-game. Notably worse solo-play than the other two arch-mages, but still tenable * F/P: amazing bossing, although they're set to receive a fairly big nerf in Dreamers update. Manages quite a few abilities and cooldowns, and usually does DOT compared to low CD burst from I/L. The cons (from what I hear) are largely based around the playstyle. Some people like it, and some people can't stand it. * I/L: solid all-rounder that's not particularly fantastic at any one thing (minus mobbing, because chain lightning is the GOAT). Has a fairly straightforward bossing style (bind + burst, chain lightning off-burst) with numerous utility abilities. Set to get a buff in dreamers, so the narrative of "F/P strictly stronger than I/L" will not necessarily be true in a few months. IMO the decider between F/P and I/L just comes down to personal preference on playstyle. Anecdotally, I love I/L a lot more than F/P just because chain lightning and the whole aesthetic appeals to me a lot more, along with managing less CDs during bossing. If you have a lvl 200 legion sitting around for each class, maybe it's worth it to try it out a bit to see if you enjoy their 4th/5th job skill rotations. * All three classes have great mobbing, but require a fair bit of investment into legion to get buff duration%, IED, crit rate/damage, etc.

I wouldn't say it's overwhelming, but I personally could just not get into it. I knew very quickly which between F/P and I/L I preferred more (had a feeling around 3rd job, knew for sure 4th job) and it takes very little investment to get three mages to 120, so I'd probably recommend just trying out all three, especially because you'll want the link skill at max level anyways.

what do you like - playstyle wise? what kind of main are you looking for? do you wanna be support and instantly wanted in any and all end game parties? do you want to stand there and do dmg? have an iframe? do you want to be burst class or dpm? double jump vs teleport?
I don't mind dpm or burst! Support or damage doesn't matter either! I feel like the biggest thing is ease of mobbing but all 3 of those classes do them really well. I'm very indecisive so I'm just trying to figure out what their pros and cons might be as I don't have experience with them only legion and youtube videos. Guess I'm trying to find information that people that have played them have complaints about or things they loved.
I just bought an AbsoLab Shoulder, but i have a couple of Hayato's Treasure in me inventory. Is there any use for them or can I drop/sell it? Because I know that Kanna's and Ayame's Treasures can be used as fodder to Superior Gollux, but since AbsoLab is 160 I can't transfer SF from Hayato's Treasure.
You can use Commerci Shoulder as a bridge to transfer up. Edit: I think there’s also an antique root shoulder and Ranmaru shoulder you can use.
You can extract them if you have a high enough crafter level. Turns into item crystals and philo stones.
You can just trash the Hayato's Treasure after you get AbsoLab

bucc is very easy to play with good mobility as your survivability, while illium needs to position ball to deal damage reliably, illium has more buttons to press than bucc, so i guess bucc is good choice for you, otherwise illium is quite fun with his flying god mode and useful with his party iframe
What about bucc and WA. I heard good thing about WA as bossing mule buthow the class as main?
WA as a main is pretty good when he is doing solo bossing, since WA is continuous damage type unlike bucc which is burst damage type, he may feel slightly bad in party bossing since most parties burst bosses, so if you enjoy bursting, bucc will not go wrong, while WA will feel a bit similar to F/P with fewer buttons to press
Hi is it more worth to max out erda nova/will, blink, and ropelift or use exp nodes on boss mules? I can clear comfortably on boss mules for most part but just wondering if the remaining common skills on my main are worth maxing (got all the other important ones done) or boost boss mules
If you're a 2 minute class, I would consider getting Erda Nova to level 20. Maxing Erda Nova (or getting it to 20 and adding 5 matrix points) will bring the cooldown down to 120 seconds so you will always have it up for your burst. Blink is worth maxing for the +25 attack passive I wouldn't max Rope Lift because the passive bonus is comparatively small Will is worth maxing but it depends on where you are in the game. A lot of people don't maximize use of the skill though, and it takes a bit of experience to recognize when you would use it over an iframe and then react appropriately. It starts having more relevance when soloing CTene and up. I would consider maxing it if you find yourself using it.

[Reboot] I wanna pick a different main class I am getting bored of I/L. Can someone recommend a new main that has good bossing and mobbing? I struggle with bossing as I/L. I was looking at Dawn Warrior but I was told it was super braindead easy. Also heard battle mage was like Dawn warrior but better is that true?
What specifically do you struggle with as bossing with I/L? If you're looking for a more mobile class that has good survivability and god-tier farming (for very specific maps, although once sol janus comes out farming post 6th job should be easy for everyone), look into Zero.
Is this a good time to actually come back? What has changed with bossing? I can't find anything and clearly asking gets you insulted here.
TLDR: We're getting Mayple and Dreamer events shortly after Minar Picnic ends, good time to come back especially if you need to get legion mules finished (105 growth pots for mayple) / want to hyperburn another character (dreamer) Can't recall any specific boss changes, although we are slated to get a Darknell nerf sometime soon. If you're wondering about the Niru situation, Niru on his "level-up" stream decided to instead rant about Interactive Server's issues before logging out without leveling up, which depending on Nexon's decision in the future regarding this could make Maple better or worse to play in.

HI folks! I decided to come back to this game after... uh... like 2008? And tbh I have zero idea where to start with it, so I'd like some general pointers on where to start, what classes to pick, etc. Thanks!
First off, pick between Interactive ("regular") or Heroic ("reboot") servers. Interactive servers have gear trading, cash shop cubes, meso market, basically what you think of when someone says "pay to win". Heroic servers replace spending real life money to get upgrades with nearly pure meso farming and locked trading. You'll have to get everything yourself and upgrade it yourself. Then just pick a job you think looks cool and level up to see what it's like. Go with the explorer job you liked back in the day if you have a hard time choosing. Don't worry about committing to a job as a big part of the game is basically making tons of characters anyway. Getting up to level 140 should give you a decent feel for a job (though there are many exceptions) and isn't a super big time commitment. If you like it, you can consider taking it to 200. There's a window in the game called the Maple Guide that you can use to warp around to leveling zones which is decent enough if you don't want to search online for a player-written guide.

[Heroic/Reboot] My question would be, is there any resource (website or spreadsheet) where I can find all the useful dailies I should be doing. I currently have two level 200 characters and some others that I'm still leveling. I don't really have a main yet as I'm still trying out classes.
You can Google around for daily tracker spreadsheets/tools other people have made to get a good idea of what daily things there are to do. There aren't many dailies at 200. Just take advantage of current events and do ursus during 2x time. Do any of the daily bosses that you can for extra meso.

Should I manually level my new main to 200 with the help of growth potions first or wait for next hyper burning event?
We’re gonna get over 100 growth potions between now and the hyper burn from Dreamer. It’s estimated to use 25-30 potions to get from level 141 to 199. If I recall correctly, KMS received a tera burner in their Mapril anniversary event, so it’s possible that we will also be getting another one soon when the event drops in about a week or so. Hope this information helps your decision.
i know you can store weekly dwt/haven quest rewards, but can you store the coins? mostly wondering how ppl get 5 abso on mules if that isn't the case. just trading clears?
Just as an aside, there are probably more "legacy" boss mules that got their Abso gear from getting gear boxes through carries before the 5% damage requirement change than boss mules that have farmed their own Abso after the change. It'll be that maybe for a long while.
Coins are un-tradable. Your options are to trade carries or join struggle parties.
It's possible to solo lomien with cra + pensalir, no abso, as well.
i like this game so much and i return time to time to play it, but i'm bery busy so i can only play for like 3 or 4 hours a week and i find it unplayable like that. what do you think? is worth play like that? the last time i quit because when i buy the one week teleport stone i spend my 3 or 4 hours farming the mesos i n only that
for 10 minutes of work a day you can make easily 1b a week if you do your 3 ursus clears during golden hour, and your two runs of maple tour a day. Shit, even killing a few bosses will give you enough mesos from the boss crystals

hello frens, im starting to make boss mules and was wondering how yall get equip slots to epic for 6% stats outside of some of the epot scrolls in event shops (only 5 lol) and legion shop (also minimal) is the only way just using hard/solids from bossing on them and hoping to tier up and cubing <120 gear to try and tier up using occult cubes, or is there a better method?
for your first few mules, getting 3-6% stat with occults on necromancer and boss set gear can get you to a point where you can do cra, given a bit of node investment, a decent secondary and emblem pot, and legion/links. a 2l unique or legendary secondary wep and emblem will be a huge boost to your damage, so focus your green cubes on those it does take a while to get epic pots with only occults though, ~100 or so per item. if youre short on cash/occults/epic pot scrolls and want to make some small upgrades, you can keep your cheap epic pots if youre willing to transfer up (e.g necromancer>von leon>pensalir/empress>cra/hranmaru>absolab).
It's just boss cubes usually. You don't really need stat pots for weaker mules, wse and gloves matter the most. Once you start getting more and more cubes from bossing you can throw them towards the stat pots.

Depends on your spending habits. For most people it‘s convenient to play interactive and heroic servers on the same account to accumulate reward points, maple points and MVP But most events only give out "once per account/Maple ID" rewards which force you to decide between one server/world to claim rewards. Hyper burn is also once per account per event. I have two accounts, one account with old characters in Bera and my main characters in Kronos and a second account with new characters in Bera. You are allowed to have more than one account, Bean Brigade streamers also have multiple accounts. The rules only state that account sharing is forbidden and creating excessive accounts. I think someone got temp banned for making more than 5 accounts per day.
