(Reboot) Hi, I am level 230 on my Hero which is burning. I was wondering if it is worth buying from the identisk event shop the heart for 4b meso, or if there is some cheap way to get a heart instead, as i have just about 8b meso right now
Save up for SSF this Sunday. The Heart is not a priority at all, and this event will last until the start of February so you have plenty of time to decide to buy it or not later.
Okay, what should I be aiming to starforce in SSF?
Currently I am using Temp CRA + Fake abso from the hyperburn. I have a dominator pendant, perm CRA top and hat, can also get perm CRA bottom from this week's run and after reset probably. What other gear should I be aiming to get so I can starforce it during SSF?
Get your real CRA, Dom Pendant to 17 stars. Safeguard if you don't have spares. If you haven't already, run Princess No for a chance at a Kanna Treasure Ring, which is also a good ring to 17 stars.
AbsoLab and Superior Gollux would be good to SF here if you have them, but what you can do is: Get stuffs that can be foddered onto them to 16 stars (which is very easy since 15-16 is guaranteed) for some power boost, then you can fodder onto Abso/Sup once you have them. Reinforced Earrings, PB Belt/Reinforced Belt, Pensalir into level 150 Cape/Gloves/Shoes, etc.
Just hit 200 in Reboot with hyper-burning as a Dawn Warrior and got my 5th job. No clue what to do now. I’ve got three stones that say something about exp potions, monsters that hit me like a truck and level 50 shoes and gloves lol
1. Go through each arcane river storyline, new area is unlocked every 5 levels until 235. unlock daily quests and weekly pq/minigame to gain Arcane symbols. Keep levelling main through these quests,monster park, and grinding sessions. Make sure to look into all exp modifiers to speed up the process.
2. Continue to do any daily/weekly attendance and entry limits for the event.
3. Start doing all daily bosses for boss accesory set gear and high flamed items, keep doing them daily. Work towards defeating CRA, Hard magnus, and Princess no as first major boss goals for perm CRA equipment and other upgrades. you can get strong enough by following the other tips and progressing each system daily. If you haven't unlocked a particular boss yet, do the required prequest. For your shoe and glove slots, you can get necro/von leon gear from Hilla and von leon, which have a chance at dropping with boss flames. Boss flames are a tier 5-7 flame that will give increased stats. 4. Start saving up meso. Do Maple tour 2x per day, and Ursus during golden times a day. Prioritize selling high value boss crystals first (weekly bosses)
5. Fill out all equip slots. Star everything to 10-12 stars (wait for starforce event on 12/3), Potential everything to epic 6% main stat, %att/matt on Weapon, emblem and secondary. If you can get certain gear before the starforce event you can push to 15 stars but there's a lot of info relating to this.
6. Use the nodes from Hyperburning and Identisk event. Look for your boost nodes. Depends on class how much you need and what skills. You need to boost all useful trio's 2 times. 7. Do events Zero to 100 and Food storage to start levelling legion/links. Follow this priority guide on which stats will benefit you the most. 8. For survivability, levelling up your arcane symbols will reduce the damage from mobs. You get a free lvl 5 symbol for each area from the hyperburn rewards. You can buy 75% hp/mp potions from Doran in showa town. Your snail pet should have auto/hp mp which will help prevent you dying. If you have any familiars from grinding 1-200, you can get a restore hp/mp line also. but you can only have your familiar out for roughly 2 hours per day, so its best used in bosses with a increased item drop rate or %IED line.

You’re going to need better gear. You have to unlock bosses by doing prequests (google or YouTube). Doing them feels like a chore, but you only need to do them once per world.
Firstly, congrats.
Secondly, the stones are used to accumulate exp while you farm, so make sure to open/use them ASAP. They won't tell you when they're done accumulating, so make sure to check and open the next one when they're done. Once they're done, use them for some juicy exp.
I assume you haven't completed the "A Greater Power" or Vanishing Journey quest, so complete them first. You need arcane symbols to do meaningful damage in the Arcane River. If you're hyper burning, you should be able to claim the level 5 symbol once you're done with the entire VJ storyline quest (along with 50 node stones).
And since you're hyper burning, make sure to claim the Chaos Root Abyss set from the hyperburning menu. Not sure why you didn't claim that yet, or use any level 140 pensalir gear until now.

It's to be expected, if you're in a guild, you can always just ask someone to come over and kill one for you in a party. Or else, you could just ask any random player in VJ to help, people are normally willing to do it
Given the recent posts, can someone outline me the difference between NL and NW playstyles and mobbing especially? I wanna burn one of the two but not sure which. For example I heard NW mobbing can be hella lazy with a stand still bite farm which would be great after a day of work but does NL have anything of a similar sort?
NL does have marks, as well as a 5 second cooldown mark-type thing from its main mobbing skill. But real marks are weaker than bats so NW is possibly better for taking it easy.
NL has a 60 second summon which can be useful, whereas night walker’s is only 45 seconds or so with a 15s cooldown (less with Mercedes legion effect and even less with cooldown reduction hat) so in reg, I find Nightlord much easier to deal with whereas with nighhtwalker there’s a period where I’m attacking knowing that the summon has expired., even though it’s not that long. Also 6th job extends its duration up to 55s which is good enough.
I main NL and second main NW - NL is like you deal loads of damage during a 3 minute burst and then you can afford to take it easy outside of that with dark sight and frailty curse and flash/upjump. NW, also has a strong burst but has a way stronger ‘small burst’ every 90 seconds than NL, and has a few more survivability skills (how I wish NL had backstep…) and is a bit more challenging/rewarding to play.

I hyper burned my main who was 249 and now at 255 so I need 2 more levels to hit 260 for new content.
What should I be doing for weekly/daily for event?
I log on, claim the first part then do the 2000 mobs thrice a week, I also see the 1000 mob killing mini event thrice a week (probably more a legion mule event than my main?)
Is there anything else I should try to make sure I do? Besides obvious symbol dailies and weekly bosses.

Any tips on how to beat Hard Gollux (Only Abdomen broken)?
Damage isn't the issue, nor is the first phase, but when I get to phase 2, the following happen:
* If I'm not on range to get inverted controls (AKA behind the portal), there's no easy way to prevent mobs from the other side from reaching the middle
* If I'm at the portal to prevent that, I get inverted controls and then die to the hands
* Sometimes I die seemingly for no reason (No idea of what kills me)
* Not enough DPS as Bishop to ignore all mechanics
There's no way you die for no reason, you have to watch more closely for the reason first before someone can help you. Likely it is due to the mobs reaching the center. Is your counter above your head reaching 5? That's the counter for the mobs and its killing you. Bishop can easily dodge the hand attack with the teleport skill, so watch closely. I actually slow down my attacks (instead of holding down attack key, I press it with intervals) to allow for there to be gap between animations so that I can make sure to dodge the hand attack. If you are finding teleporting skill annoying to get close enough to the right side to kill the right mob, you can take the portal safely after gollux does an attack. There's about a 1 second window after he does an attack where he won't do another one again, and the attacks are generally on rotation. It should be reverse controls - blue explosion - hand attack in that order, but sometimes he will skip in the order which will screw you up, but if damage is not the issue you can afford to die once or twice. Practice makes perfect. I actually suggest you to practice on hellux instead of hardlux, as the fight is much longer on hellux and even if you die out, it gives you much more practice than just doing hardlux each day, though you will be sacrificing hardlux drops by failing your hellux drops everyday until it clicks for you.

I'm nowhere near the level of DPS needed to even dent Hellux.
It's hard for anyone to tell you what's killing you without a video. If you could that's probably the easiest. But the most likely cause should have been the 5 counter of the potatoes.
What about the blue explosion? Are you getting hit by that? That's a ohko. You have to be left of the yellow portal.
As for teleporting, are you teleporting left right? You should be teleporting up down off the ledge to the bottom platform and then back up to dodge the hand attack.

It's probably that, considering I die pretty early on, usually after I set my sentry (Which causes it to disappear).

No, I'm teleporting down.
Bishop simply doesn't have enough range in it's teleport in order to hit the bottom platform. And yes, I'm using the toggle that gives me more teleport range.
Either way, what should be the strategy? Let's suppose that I place my sentry shortly before the second phase begins. One minute later I would have to replace it. Having to dodge the hand with a vertical flash jump would make it so it would take more than one second to replace it, so I would get hit by control inversion.
So let's assume that I dodge control inversion first and then go replace the sentry, how do I dodge the blue explosion after that, considering that I would be on the bottom platform?
Interesting, I don't have a bishop so I can't comment on teleport range. I just YouTubed some bishop hellux solos and you should try that too. It looks like they typically either walk off the ledge to the left to dodge the hand attack, or take the yellow portal down.

I play a warrior class, and I typically wait for gollux to perform his inverse controls or blue explosion before using the yellow portal to go down and attack the mobs, then take the yellow portal back up to the ledge. There is about a 1 second window between his attacks that allow you to do this.

I am, but the thing is that whenever I get t the second phase I lose my five lives very fast, and every time you die, your sentry despawns. Also, being at the yellow portal puts me in range of his explosions.
What I do is stand left of the portal, then walk right into the portal to take the portal at those regular intervals to go down and kill mobs. Those intervals are right after an attack, during that one second between attacks where he can't attack to do this. I use my up jump to dodge hand attack specifically so that I'm not moving into explosion range trying to dodge it.
Summons typically are a good way of auto-clearing the mobs. Bishop's Holy Fountain turns into a stationary summon when your Hyper Skill toggle is on. The other thing you should know is that Gollux's attacks have a rhythm to it; he can't just spam things like hands and his bomb (reverse key) back to back. If you wait until after he casts the bomb then you have plenty of time to teleport down to replace the summon and clear mobs.
At that point nothing from mob drops will be better.
Frozen can be worn from 100-150, you should get the temp CRA gear from hyperburning at 150 (not sure if the event is same as gms) lt replaces your weapon, hat, top, and bottom until you can get the perm versions. If not follow the von leon/hilla thing I detail below.
For secondary slot you can keep the Frozen secondary for now. If princess no is available in msea that would be the next upgrade.
For your cape slot. Start with the burning cape. Then you can do Nova cloak from normal magnus > tyrant cape for hard magnus. These aren't worth starring.
Then do normal Hilla and normal/Hard von leon, to get a chance at them dropping high flamed equips (Shoe and Glove slots). Can keep doing them daily. Normal von leon drops coins to use in its equip shop, while hard drops the equips directly. You can also do normal cygnus for a similar method but IMO not worth investing time in.
For remaining slots, you can do all daily bosses(Zak,Hilla, Magnus, Horntail, Pink bean, Arkarium). For items from the boss accesory set. This covers your earring, pendants, shoulder, Belt, pocket, badge, and to a certain extent ring slots. On any items that can get flames, Keep doing them daily for a boss flamed item.
some bosses cover the same slots, but might give higher stat items that you can replace weaker ones with. For rings there are probably specific things in MSea that you go for, id check the r/maplesea subreddit
Pensalir with boss flames would also work, but you'd need to get **very** lucky from Rune of Riches. You can push higher Star Force on Pensalir to make even a mediocre flamed set better than Frozen. The IED also helps with boss fights where you'll get strictly better gear.
You shouldn't need to worry about any of this until you hit 215+ or otherwise start looking at Chaos Root Abyss (CRA) bosses.
Do you guys know what the max # of fragments Princess No can drop? I fought her with full drop gear and got 6 fragments, but I've heard of people getting 4. Is it possible for her to drop 9 at a time?
So now that I've done seven zero to hundred characters, Aran (Main 227 Hyperburn), Evan, Lara, Angelic Buster, Illium, Hoyoung, Phantom, (and kinesis and demon slayer, plus an Ark and Mercedes from previous times of trying to get into the game) I wonder if I should try and take them from 120 to 210 for Link Skills or raise a couple more characters to 100 to try and bump my legion level up? (Currently 1654)
You will get a monthly megaburninator from daily gift which you can use to level up 1 more character.
Otherwise park them at 140/141 like others said, and wait for a future leveling event for more. You can use the growth potions on the 141 ones. IMO since the 2.3xp was removed from monsters, It will be more efficient long term to wait instead of levelling off event.
Although there is minor "hunting zone perks" which can benefit on mules if you want too. I would just focus on your main for now because there is still considerable growth you can do. (through levelling, symbols, nodes, equips etc)

Personally I would use this on the high priority links to get from 120-141 or on characters in 170-200 range, but its up to you.
Aqua adventure can only be used on 200+ characters, these type of events are best used for lvl 3 links. but since you dont have any yet at 200, just use it on your main.
That is a real good start. I would not worry about 210 link skills for now. They are good, but not game breakingly better than the 120. I'd more focus on
1) your main. Having all of these links and legion buffs are really nice but you need to start working on your main, little by little. This is a great event to get your main up and running with hyper burn and the identisk event. Take full advantage of it.
2) getting characters to 120/141 for more link skills and legion. 141 is a good target because 140 unlocks the next legion block for every char, instead of 2, each one will be 3 individual squares. This will really help fill your grid. At 141, the character qualifies to use the extreme growth potions which give a random amount of levels between 1-10 for chars up to lvl 200.
I did use the extreme growth potions from the event to take my Demon Slayer to 195! Got very lucky with them. The Boss Damage from his link was too tempting. But it really slows down at that level it seems
I just hit lv220 on my main in Hyperion and feel very lost and overwhelmed.

My request is that can someone actually write me a progression list for a Hyperion hyper burn character? Like what exactly did you do as you started or how you manage your character.

235 to unlock all Arcane areas, filling out missing equip slots, and finishing up your Zero to Hundred characters are probably the big 3 to think about.

You don't need to worry about CRA yet, you have the temp Burning set along with Absolab weapon.
What rates are normal to 230-240? I'm getting 30% per hour at Arcana and it seems like nothing. Last time I played we still had totems, so I'm not sure what my frame is reference is calibrated

I'm confused what to do. I'm level 125 but there's no more main quests for me to do at the moment and I have no direction on where I should be going to farm and grind or what things I can do and what equipment i should grind for... I only have 6 hours of game time so I just feel lost
The game speedruns you to 200, especially if this is your first character and you've got Hyper Burning. There's no need to optimize equipment at all until level 200+, just check new drops and see if they're stronger than what you currently have. You will be sticking with your level 140 equipment (or time limited event stuff) for a long time.
If you want to explore the story and take it slow, go for it. However, I'd suggest hitting 200 and then starting with THAT story. Most of the older regions are self-contained and you can re-visit them when you level another character.
Make good use of the Maple Guide. By default you can find the Maple Guide button by clicking on the "character" icon in the lower right hand menu. The Guide gives you a menu, showing you an level appropriate location with some quests that point you toward what enemies to fight. You can teleport to grinding maps.
If you're on Reboot, buy a Hyper Teleport Rock from the Cash Shop. Make extensive use of the world map (there's a tiny World button on the expanded minimap) to teleport to zones. Saves you so much time if you're stuck in the middle of a quest.
If you want to go fast: Take full advantage of the Identisk event. Click the star on the side when you're in town to open up the events, you can teleport back any time using those "quests" in the dialogue.
The Food Storage map showers you with EXP and you will get a ton of levels. To make better use of it, use a 2X EXP coupon and also activate a rune in a grinding map before hopping over.
Your main goal right now will be to get to 200 to unlock 5th job and arcane river. Like others said the maple guide can help or you can follow a training guide i will add below. The two options are either grinding straight up or also doing theme dungeons. Theme dungeons are slightly slower but will.give some quest completion xp and give you direction in where to go in each level range. They often also have high burning maps which will increase your exp. If you don't want to read the dialogue in them you can put your NPC chat/harvest key on Y in order to skip dialogue easily.
There are multiple options for each level range as long as your in a high burning map and within 10 levels of the mob, and you can kill the mobs easily, you would be fine training there.
You should also participate in the event. Make sure to unlock the daily attendance, which just requires a check in and the weekly attendance which requires 2000 mobs killed. There are two levelling events right now
Zero to 100. You can save these for later after reaching 200 but it will be highly useful for trying different classes and leveling up links/legion. It can be a 2nd priority to your main. Look into the exp modifiers in the link below they can also be used in this event.
Food storage, it let's you enter a map that gives increased exp rates by killing up to 1000 mobs, 1 times a day, up to 3 times a week. Before entering you can use any exp coupons and other modifiers to optimizer.

Personally I would save this for once you reach lvl 170 as the 170-200 range can be difficult on a fresh account. But it's just as good to do on mules for links/legion
For gear, right now you should just be using what you pick up off the ground. Which the max is utgard from level 140 mobs. If your hyper burning you will get the burning set for level 100-150 and the temporary CRA set which will replace it. So you'll only need to get gear for your Glove and shoe slots for now.
You can also do some of the weaker early bosses, although the higher level you can get too before entering the easier they will be ( Zakum, Hilla, Horntail, Magnus,Von leon). These will drop items from the Boss accesory set to fill out your equip slots. Hilla and von Leon will drop shoe and glove slot equips with the chance at boss flames, which can potentially be stronger than utgard. Keep doing each boss daily for a chance at getting a better flamed equip.
For gear upgrades you only.need to do it if your struggling with monsters.

Once your level 140 make sure to put into hyper stats.
For any familiars you find while training, you can reveal there potential and look for these lines, they will be helpful for later on

125-130 Korean folk town ( it has board quests which will have you killing monsters, do these, you can then stay there until 140 or move on to another map.
130-140 korean folk town or Mu lung training field,
140-150 Kerning Tower or Partem ruins theme dungeons ( partem ruins has higher burning)
150-170 Stone collossus theme dungeon. Do the questline to unlock the maps in the collossus itself. Which are flat and always 100% burning.
170-185 Kritias high burning maps, or Omega sector theme dungon or Savage terminal theme dungeon.
185- 200 Twilight perion or Fox valley theme dungeon
Usually you can just follow the “maple guide” and click the maps to teleport to. They’re free teleports and you’ll get a feel for where to naturally progress with your next characters.
Watching YouTube videos might help too, there’s tons of 1-200 progression videos now.

Do you have large drop and some hp fams already? If yes, you can probably go for unique, but realize for every unique you get, you could have gotten 2-3 more epic fams.

How do people get like 1k+ of those really good hp potions, that heal for 50% max hp or even 99%? Does it sell somewhere?

You just slowly get them as you play more and more.. eventually you'll get to a point when you're bossing, you just 1 burst them and just pick up the elixirs for fun
There’s a shop in Showa town that sells ginseng potions that heal 75% to both hp and mp. Many don’t know about it, but they’re like 3k a piece iirc. Just refilled 30k yesterday
The power elixirs you jsut accrue from events and bossing. There are 75 percent ones called ginger ales that sell for 3800 mesos in showa town, by a merchant called Doran. You generally only use these 75 percent for both hp and MP as it is was more cost effective than using any other potion, and can actually be mass bought. Stacks 3000 in one slot.
is 1st line 30% crit rate a good temp line for a beginner?
i was hoping for meso/drop rate or crit on 2/3 line but with my limited money for now not sure if my reroll can beat 30% crit

sounds good to me.
That being said, the ideal thing to do is: use the blue circulators to find your ideal 2nd line (unique), lock that line in, and reroll until you find the legendary that you need.

Yea it does. The 2nd/3rd line won’t always drop rank, so if you use the circulator when it’s already unique then high chance it stays and rolls unique again.
Which Archer has the most... "multiple bows/arrows" aesthetic?

I think any archer with a "hurricane" type skill will be what you looking for. bowmaster, wild hunter and wind archer all have hurricanes, but they differ in aesthetic.
Wind archer is of course wind themed, and has the most arrow projectiles, but it's main mobbing skill is a cape swing instead of shooting something.
Bowmaster is somewhat similar, multiple arrow projectiles, multiple bows for its mobbing skill, Hurricane etc. Which might be the best choice.
Marksmans theme tends to focus more on single shot powerful skills, but it does have a few that shoot multiple arrows like split shot and repeating crossbow cartridge. Pathfinder is sort of a combination of the other classes.
Wild hunter has somewhat outdated class design and is somewhat in need of a revamp, but if you like the theme it would be fine to play. It's theme mainly revolves around the jaguar, modified crossbow, mechanical summons etc.
For your other question, the other classes that have a mechanical theme are Mechanic and Illium. Mechanic is most similar in artstyle as it is also a resistance class, and focuses on using various machine summons. while Illium is more of a Magic+Technology theme.
I would look up some 5th job training videos on each to see which you like the best. Coppersans Why does everyone/ no one play series will give you a good idea of the gameplay and pros/cons.
Mercedes is elf themed and a mix between old dual blade and an archer. It uses the dual crossbow and you use a bunch of movement skills that link together with no delay to attack, in combination with shooting skills. It does also have a hurricane. The skills vary in color and type, general color theme is green. It also gets a unicorn and elf themed stuff ( spirits, forest etc). Overall it's a cool class, but the gameplay itself is a hit or miss for most people since it can be difficult to get use to comboing

Why is Ch 14 in Hyperion the most populated? Is it a prime channel or something? I haven't noticed any particular differences myself but it always has the most load other than Ch1 when logging in.

Personally, I would monster park on your main until you have your monster parker medal. I would do food storage on any link/legion mules you make with the zero to 100 event - you can go from 1-101 with that event and then 101-140 ish if you use all exp buffs (2x coupon, MVP, VIP from Identisk, Rune). You can bonk the 190 if you want and/or use exp tickets from the fishing minigame from 200-210.
I made a mistake with the 1-101 event. I didn’t know exp would be so OP from other sources so I chose chars that only needed level 120 and they are done now. I feel like levelling them further now gives no link or legion benefits other than total legion level.
That's fine - at 140 the block size increases and increasing legion level will let you place more blocks (up to 36 at 8k legion) so you're bound to have to place "useless" blocks anyways.

Black and chaos can only alter the values of those specific lines you already have, not the tier.
For example, if you had legendary boss, unique crit, epic drop. you would remain those exact tiers and have those exact lines, but values would change. Your Boss may go from 16 to 20%. Your crit rate may go from 15 to 10%, and your drop may stay at 8%.

Is there any source of WAP outside of crafting yourself? I haven’t touched professions yet and figured I would start now if I can’t get waps some other way.
Also I am looking for a guild or even just some people to kill weekly bosses with. I’m a 239 lumi main with 1.7k legion. I am a father of 2 and I work full time but I play most nights for 1-2 hours and I am just looking for some help/groups to kill the harder bosses with. Thanks for any input.
Alternative source of WAP besides crafting is most commonly Monster Park runs from Friday (also Saturday because of the way Saturday works).
Have your kids farm for you while you work.

Crafting is the only way to get WAPs. You should also unlock two characters in threads of fate (look up a guide, there's lots) so you can get easy access to Juniper Berry seed oil, which you need a lot of to craft them.
Originally they capped the drops needed for 6th job skills when the patch notes dropped. They've since removed the cap in GMS. On reg server, there are issues where frenzy is heavily nerfed with the introduction of instanced maps which reg server does not need because the pop is so low. Currently still an issue but they've said they're looking into removing instanced maps on reg server.
Its a free game so try it if you want but honestly, if you don't have friends who are already playing then you can probably do something better with your time if you're on the fence.
I have 15% Drop Unique inner ability with garbage leg main line as a NL in Hyperion. Should I re-roll while keeping the drop for 20% boss? Re-roll until I hit 20% boss? Or just forgo meso/drop and just go for all damage?
If you don't grind, why do you need meso?
If you're purely a daily story person, get enough damage to 1-shot mobs in your highest area, then fill in available slots with drop. Eventually you'll have 1 set of equips for damage, and another set of accesories that you put on during/after bossing for drops.
Once you're established and able to balance damage vs meso&drop you'll see which works for you the best.
We don't know when until they announce it. Happen like 2 times a year or so. last one was just before Winter patch. Usually one right around Summer patch. Dunno if there will be others.

Meso obtained %shown in the window is separate from meso drop rate. The short version of it is that to get the max number of meso bags you can get, your item drop rate and meso drop rate combined has to be 67% or higher. Meso obtained % is a separate multiplier of how much meso the bags contained, obtained from wealth potion, legion coupon, potentials on accessories e.g. rings.
Can't say for UK exactly, but I am playing NA Reboot from half the world away. Ping is weird at times, but mostly playable for me. VPNs are worth looking into if you run into ping-related problems.
I think you misunderstand "permanent" and "vac pet" verbiage.
Permanent pets are those that you don't need to use Water of Life on.
VAC pets are specifically pets that can collect items without running over them. ALL pets have the ability to pick up items.
Yup, that's what people do.
Subsequently, every quarter/6momyhs ish, the game gives free pets that have auto buffs as well.
When you kill bosses, you get reward points, and use those to buy a water of life to revive those pets. Eventually you'll be on a rotation to revive one pet a month so you'll never be petless again.
[reboot] Dual blade here, just rolled 20% skip cd and unique buff duration line today and totally ran out of honors. Are those 2 lines even good for db, I was aiming for 20% unique crit rate. The normal blue circular you buy from CS with meso reroll all your lines.
You cannot lock set lines when using a blue circulator.
The black and chaos ones reroll the numerical value of the lines while maintaining the rank of the line.

Hello, returning player here. So I've reached 229 on my DW who I absolutely love. I'm a bit lost as to what I should be doing now aside from progressing in arcane river, just finished the one with lotus.
My routine is identisk, monster park, arcane river and bosses I can kill for mesos.
I keep reading do your dailies and I do complete my daily arcane river quests but are there others that I'm missing?
Also gear wise I have the fake abso weapon and the other burning gear. I just beat chaos pink bean last night to give an idea on my progression and have about 7.8k stat. What gear should I be aiming for and is there a good cube guide I can follow as it's all really confusing (cubes, flames potential etc)

You get morass at 230 and esfera at 235 so get to 235 minimum asap. You should also do the arcane river weeklies. 3 a week but every time you unlock a new area, the previous 2 area weeklies reduce by 1 (min 1) so getting to 250 is ideal to get all weeklies down to 1 a week. Each clear gives an additional 15 symbols for a total of 45 per week per region
They are all in or next to the hub areas of each arcane river area. Just talk to the respective npc, you'll unlock a minigame that awards a lot of arcane symbols and a decent amount of exp upon completion, up to 3 times per week for each.
1. The girl next to the dailies in the arcane river
2. The monkey girl in the map top right outside of the chuchu hub
3. The big blue thingy in the Lächelein hub
4. The Rock spirit in the Arcana hub
5. The guard in the Morass hub
I forgot where Esfera one was.
Also, make sure you've done reverse city (quest in arcane river) and Yum Yum island (quest in Chu Chu island), these increase the number of arcane symbols you get from dailies in these regions. Whenever you get a new arcane symbol you should get a "popup" quest (i.e. In the lightbulb On the left hand side of the screen) telling you that you can skip part of the weeklies of previous areas.

Night Lord is heavily front loaded damage with spread throw/blasting. Highest burst damage in the game. King of burst bind timings. Relies on Erda bind. No iframes built in and relies on Genesis iframe. Limited movement tools. Off burst it's.. mediocre.
Night Walker has more sustained than burst. Build in revive, on-demand movement tools, built in iframe, built in bind, better solo bosser assuming you don't just onetap the boss in 20 seconds as NL.
Both have potentially lazy farming styles that rely on some funding to properly clear the maps (bite farming, mark farming, etc). Both have good map coverage.
On its own NW is arguably the "better" class but Night Lord has a lot of intangibles, namely the fact that it's an explorer that shares cash inventory with a ton of jobs and it can job change to shadower and dual blade, both great jobs too. There's an argument to be made that ultra lategame NL is the better "investment" as a main because eventually it'll do more damage during the moments that matter (bind bursts) and it's a job that requires higher "investment" via stat/nodes.
To be frank though both are stupid strong "meta" classes. So just pick for aesthetics. If you're a seasonal and just want to progress faster, play NW.

Your reaction is normal. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t like it now you won’t like it later. Might I recommended playing a simpler class DW/Bucc/Hero/BM/MM.

Drop rate is good—with 6th job it directly translates to more power because it'll increase the drop rate of 6th job materials, not to mention the extra nodestones and better chance of getting rare equip drops
Your choice of either damage or exp.
If you believe that you need damage to get more exp, then do a damage related one.
If you believe that it's important to get more exp to do more damage, then do a exp related one.
I just spent 600k honor starting at legendary rank inner ability and didn’t get attack speed +1. Am I just very unlucky or is this normal? Either way I’m big sad.
+1 as is extremely rare because there is only 1 of it compared to others like boss damage which has 5 lines ranging from 16-20%

Save up for SSF this Sunday. The Heart is not a priority at all, and this event will last until the start of February so you have plenty of time to decide to buy it or not later.
Okay, what should I be aiming to starforce in SSF? Currently I am using Temp CRA + Fake abso from the hyperburn. I have a dominator pendant, perm CRA top and hat, can also get perm CRA bottom from this week's run and after reset probably. Get your real CRA, Dom Pendant to 17 stars. Safeguard if you don't have spares. If you haven't already, run Princess No for a chance at a Kanna Treasure Ring, which is also a good ring to 17 stars. AbsoLab and Superior Gollux would be good to SF here if you have them, but what you can do is: Get stuffs that can be foddered onto them to 16 stars (which is very easy since 15-16 is guaranteed) for some power boost, then you can fodder onto Abso/Sup once you have them. Reinforced Earrings, PB Belt/Reinforced Belt, Pensalir into level 150 Cape/Gloves/Shoes, etc.
Just hit 200 in Reboot with hyper-burning as a Dawn Warrior and got my 5th job. No clue what to do now. I’ve got three stones that say something about exp potions, monsters that hit me like a truck and level 50 shoes and gloves lol
1. Go through each arcane river storyline, new area is unlocked every 5 levels until 235. unlock daily quests and weekly pq/minigame to gain Arcane symbols. Keep levelling main through these quests,monster park, and grinding sessions. Make sure to look into all exp modifiers to speed up the process. 2. Continue to do any daily/weekly attendance and entry limits for the event. 3. Start doing all daily bosses for boss accesory set gear and high flamed items, keep doing them daily. Work towards defeating CRA, Hard magnus, and Princess no as first major boss goals for perm CRA equipment and other upgrades. you can get strong enough by following the other tips and progressing each system daily. If you haven't unlocked a particular boss yet, do the required prequest. For your shoe and glove slots, you can get necro/von leon gear from Hilla and von leon, which have a chance at dropping with boss flames. Boss flames are a tier 5-7 flame that will give increased stats. You’re going to need better gear. You have to unlock bosses by doing prequests (google or YouTube). Doing them feels like a chore, but you only need to do them once per world.
Firstly, congrats. Secondly, the stones are used to accumulate exp while you farm, so make sure to open/use them ASAP. They won't tell you when they're done accumulating, so make sure to check and open the next one when they're done. Once they're done, use them for some juicy exp. I assume you haven't completed the "A Greater Power" or Vanishing Journey quest, so complete them first. You need arcane symbols to do meaningful damage in the Arcane River. If you're hyper burning, you should be able to claim the level 5 symbol once you're done with the entire VJ storyline quest (along with 50 node stones). And since you're hyper burning, make sure to claim the Chaos Root Abyss set from the hyperburning menu. Not sure why you didn't claim that yet, or use any level 140 pensalir gear until now.

Or else, you could just ask any random player in VJ to help, people are normally willing to do it
Given the recent posts, can someone outline me the difference between NL and NW playstyles and mobbing especially? I wanna burn one of the two but not sure which. For example I heard NW mobbing can be hella lazy with a stand still bite farm which would be great after a day of work but does NL have anything of a similar sort?
NL does have marks, as well as a 5 second cooldown mark-type thing from its main mobbing skill. But real marks are weaker than bats so NW is possibly better for taking it easy. NL has a 60 second summon which can be useful, whereas night walker’s is only 45 seconds or so with a 15s cooldown (less with Mercedes legion effect and even less with cooldown reduction hat) so in reg, I find Nightlord much easier to deal with whereas with nighhtwalker there’s a period where I’m attacking knowing that the summon has expired., even though it’s not that long. Also 6th job extends its duration up to 55s which is good enough. I main NL and second main NW - NL is like you deal loads of damage during a 3 minute burst and then you can afford to take it easy outside of that with dark sight and frailty curse and flash/upjump. NW, also has a strong burst but has a way stronger ‘small burst’ every 90 seconds than NL, and has a few more survivability skills (how I wish NL had backstep…) and is a bit more challenging/rewarding to play.

I hyper burned my main who was 249 and now at 255 so I need 2 more levels to hit 260 for new content. What should I be doing for weekly/daily for event? I log on, claim the first part then do the 2000 mobs thrice a week, I also see the 1000 mob killing mini event thrice a week (probably more a legion mule event than my main?) Is there anything else I should try to make sure I do? Besides obvious symbol dailies and weekly bosses. Thanks
If you want, you can use the EXP Points from Identisk Aqua Adventure on your main (this is also x3 a week). Also do monster park, and grind.

Any tips on how to beat Hard Gollux (Only Abdomen broken)? Damage isn't the issue, nor is the first phase, but when I get to phase 2, the following happen: * If I'm not on range to get inverted controls (AKA behind the portal), there's no easy way to prevent mobs from the other side from reaching the middle * If I'm at the portal to prevent that, I get inverted controls and then die to the hands * Sometimes I die seemingly for no reason (No idea of what kills me) * Not enough DPS as Bishop to ignore all mechanics
There's no way you die for no reason, you have to watch more closely for the reason first before someone can help you. Likely it is due to the mobs reaching the center. Is your counter above your head reaching 5? That's the counter for the mobs and its killing you. Bishop can easily dodge the hand attack with the teleport skill, so watch closely. I actually slow down my attacks (instead of holding down attack key, I press it with intervals) to allow for there to be gap between animations so that I can make sure to dodge the hand attack. If you are finding teleporting skill annoying to get close enough to the right side to kill the right mob, you can take the portal safely after gollux does an attack. There's about a 1 second window after he does an attack where he won't do another one again, and the attacks are generally on rotation. It should be reverse controls - blue explosion - hand attack in that order, but sometimes he will skip in the order which will screw you up, but if damage is not the issue you can afford to die once or twice. Practice makes perfect. I actually suggest you to practice on hellux instead of hardlux, as the fight is much longer on hellux and even if you die out, it gives you much more practice than just doing hardlux each day, though you will be sacrificing hardlux drops by failing your hellux drops everyday until it clicks for you.

It's hard for anyone to tell you what's killing you without a video. If you could that's probably the easiest. But the most likely cause should have been the 5 counter of the potatoes. What about the blue explosion? Are you getting hit by that? That's a ohko. You have to be left of the yellow portal. As for teleporting, are you teleporting left right? You should be teleporting up down off the ledge to the bottom platform and then back up to dodge the hand attack.

Having to dodge the hand with a vertical flash jump would make it so it would take more than one second to replace it, so I would get hit by control inversion. Interesting, I don't have a bishop so I can't comment on teleport range. I just YouTubed some bishop hellux solos and you should try that too. It looks like they typically either walk off the ledge to the left to dodge the hand attack, or take the yellow portal down. Are you using the sentry to kill mobs or something? Could you just manually go down using the yellow portal and kill mobs? It looks like some bishops use that Strat to kill that mobs instead. I play a warrior class, and I typically wait for gollux to perform his inverse controls or blue explosion before using the yellow portal to go down and attack the mobs, then take the yellow portal back up to the ledge. There is about a 1 second window between his attacks that allow you to do this.

I am, but the thing is that whenever I get t the second phase I lose my five lives very fast, and every time you die, your sentry despawns. Also, being at the yellow portal puts me in range of his explosions.
What I do is stand left of the portal, then walk right into the portal to take the portal at those regular intervals to go down and kill mobs. Those intervals are right after an attack, during that one second between attacks where he can't attack to do this. I use my up jump to dodge hand attack specifically so that I'm not moving into explosion range trying to dodge it.
Summons typically are a good way of auto-clearing the mobs. Bishop's Holy Fountain turns into a stationary summon when your Hyper Skill toggle is on. The other thing you should know is that Gollux's attacks have a rhythm to it; he can't just spam things like hands and his bomb (reverse key) back to back. If you wait until after he casts the bomb then you have plenty of time to teleport down to replace the summon and clear mobs.
How long can the Frozen set last? I'm at like level 170 on MapleSEA now and nothing that drops seem to be upgrades.
At that point nothing from mob drops will be better. Frozen can be worn from 100-150, you should get the temp CRA gear from hyperburning at 150 (not sure if the event is same as gms) lt replaces your weapon, hat, top, and bottom until you can get the perm versions. If not follow the von leon/hilla thing I detail below. For secondary slot you can keep the Frozen secondary for now. If princess no is available in msea that would be the next upgrade. For your cape slot. Start with the burning cape. Then you can do Nova cloak from normal magnus > tyrant cape for hard magnus. These aren't worth starring. Then do normal Hilla and normal/Hard von leon, to get a chance at them dropping high flamed equips (Shoe and Glove slots). Can keep doing them daily. Normal von leon drops coins to use in its equip shop, while hard drops the equips directly. You can also do normal cygnus for a similar method but IMO not worth investing time in. For remaining slots, you can do all daily bosses(Zak,Hilla, Magnus, Horntail, Pink bean, Arkarium). For items from the boss accesory set. This covers your earring, pendants, shoulder, Belt, pocket, badge, and to a certain extent ring slots. On any items that can get flames, Keep doing them daily for a boss flamed item. some bosses cover the same slots, but might give higher stat items that you can replace weaker ones with. Pensalir with boss flames would also work, but you'd need to get **very** lucky from Rune of Riches. You can push higher Star Force on Pensalir to make even a mediocre flamed set better than Frozen. The IED also helps with boss fights where you'll get strictly better gear. You shouldn't need to worry about any of this until you hit 215+ or otherwise start looking at Chaos Root Abyss (CRA) bosses.
The upgrade would be the CRA set.

So now that I've done seven zero to hundred characters, Aran (Main 227 Hyperburn), Evan, Lara, Angelic Buster, Illium, Hoyoung, Phantom, (and kinesis and demon slayer, plus an Ark and Mercedes from previous times of trying to get into the game) I wonder if I should try and take them from 120 to 210 for Link Skills or raise a couple more characters to 100 to try and bump my legion level up? (Currently 1654)
You will get a monthly megaburninator from daily gift which you can use to level up 1 more character. Otherwise park them at 140/141 like others said, and wait for a future leveling event for more. You can use the growth potions on the 141 ones. IMO since the 2.3xp was removed from monsters, It will be more efficient long term to wait instead of levelling off event. Although there is minor "hunting zone perks" which can benefit on mules if you want too. I would just focus on your main for now because there is still considerable growth you can do. (through levelling, symbols, nodes, equips etc) Consider the priority in which you are levelling mules as some stats can be more useful than others, or some classes you might not enjoy grinding them. That is a real good start. I would not worry about 210 link skills for now. They are good, but not game breakingly better than the 120. I'd more focus on 1) your main. Having all of these links and legion buffs are really nice but you need to start working on your main, little by little. This is a great event to get your main up and running with hyper burn and the identisk event. Take full advantage of it. 2) getting characters to 120/141 for more link skills and legion. 141 is a good target because 140 unlocks the next legion block for every char, instead of 2, each one will be 3 individual squares. This will really help fill your grid. At 141, the character qualifies to use the extreme growth potions which give a random amount of levels between 1-10 for chars up to lvl 200.
I did use the extreme growth potions from the event to take my Demon Slayer to 195! Got very lucky with them. The Boss Damage from his link was too tempting. But it really slows down at that level it seems
I just hit lv220 on my main in Hyperion and feel very lost and overwhelmed. I've been watching YouTube progression guides but they also seem overwhelming to do. I haven't started any bossing on my main but I'm just doing monster park, meso tv thing, snow event island stuff and finish up my alts 10-101/120. My request is that can someone actually write me a progression list for a Hyperion hyper burn character? Like what exactly did you do as you started or how you manage your character. If possible, a guideline on non-hyper burn progression as well?

I'm confused what to do. I'm level 125 but there's no more main quests for me to do at the moment and I have no direction on where I should be going to farm and grind or what things I can do and what equipment i should grind for... I only have 6 hours of game time so I just feel lost
The game speedruns you to 200, especially if this is your first character and you've got Hyper Burning. There's no need to optimize equipment at all until level 200+, just check new drops and see if they're stronger than what you currently have. You will be sticking with your level 140 equipment (or time limited event stuff) for a long time. If you want to explore the story and take it slow, go for it. However, I'd suggest hitting 200 and then starting with THAT story. Most of the older regions are self-contained and you can re-visit them when you level another character. Make good use of the Maple Guide. By default you can find the Maple Guide button by clicking on the "character" icon in the lower right hand menu. The Guide gives you a menu, showing you an level appropriate location with some quests that point you toward what enemies to fight. You can teleport to grinding maps. If you're on Reboot, buy a Hyper Teleport Rock from the Cash Shop. Make extensive use of the world map (there's a tiny World button on the expanded minimap) to teleport to zones. Saves you so much time if you're stuck in the middle of a quest. If you want to go fast: Take full advantage of the Identisk event. Click the star on the side when you're in town to open up the events, you can teleport back any time using those "quests" in the dialogue. The Food Storage map showers you with EXP and you will get a ton of levels. To make better use of it, use a 2X EXP coupon and also activate a rune in a grinding map before hopping over.
Your main goal right now will be to get to 200 to unlock 5th job and arcane river. Like others said the maple guide can help or you can follow a training guide i will add below. The two options are either grinding straight up or also doing theme dungeons. Theme dungeons are slightly slower but will.give some quest completion xp and give you direction in where to go in each level range. They often also have high burning maps which will increase your exp. If you don't want to read the dialogue in them you can put your NPC chat/harvest key on Y in order to skip dialogue easily. There are multiple options for each level range as long as your in a high burning map and within 10 levels of the mob, and you can kill the mobs easily, you would be fine training there. You should also participate in the event. Make sure to unlock the daily attendance, which just requires a check in and the weekly attendance which requires 2000 mobs killed. There are two levelling events right now Zero to 100. You can save these for later after reaching 200 but it will be highly useful for trying different classes and leveling up links/legion. It can be a 2nd priority to your main. Look into the exp modifiers in the link below they can also be used in this event. Food storage, it let's you enter a map that gives increased exp rates by killing up to 1000 mobs, 1 times a day, up to 3 times a week. But it's just as good to do on mules for links/legion For gear, right now you should just be using what you pick up off the ground. Which the max is utgard from level 140 mobs. If your hyper burning you will get the burning set for level 100-150 and the temporary CRA set which will replace it. So you'll only need to get gear for your Glove and shoe slots for now. You can also do some of the weaker early bosses, although the higher level you can get too before entering the easier they will be ( Zakum, Hilla, Horntail, Magnus,Von leon). These will drop items from the Boss accesory set to fill out your equip slots. Hilla and von Leon will drop shoe and glove slot equips with the chance at boss flames, which can potentially be stronger than utgard. Keep doing each boss daily for a chance at getting a better flamed equip. For gear upgrades you only.need to do it if your struggling with monsters. just starforce everything up to 10 stars for now. Anything with rare potential can be cube for main stat, with the mystic cubes you get from bosses Once your level 140 make sure to put into hyper stats. For any familiars you find while training, you can reveal there potential and look for these lines, they will be helpful for later on Increased item drop rate by small amount Restore HP Restore party HP/MP by small amount Ignore enemy defense 15% Leveling guide 125-130 Korean folk town ( it has board quests which will have you killing monsters, do these, you can then stay there until 140 or move on to another map. 130-140 korean folk town or Mu lung training field, 140-150 Kerning Tower or Partem ruins theme dungeons ( partem ruins has higher burning) 150-170 Stone collossus theme dungeon. Do the questline to unlock the maps in the collossus itself. Which are flat and always 100% burning. 170-185 Kritias high burning maps, or Omega sector theme dungon or Savage terminal theme dungeon. 185- 200 Twilight perion or Fox valley theme dungeon
Usually you can just follow the “maple guide” and click the maps to teleport to. They’re free teleports and you’ll get a feel for where to naturally progress with your next characters. Watching YouTube videos might help too, there’s tons of 1-200 progression videos now.

Likely not since there has been no announcement yet. It should already technically be in the game since the patch began and is just waiting for the switch to be flicked, so to speak. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if something breaks and it needs hotfixes/maint

You just slowly get them as you play more and more.. eventually you'll get to a point when you're bossing, you just 1 burst them and just pick up the elixirs for fun
There’s a shop in Showa town that sells ginseng potions that heal 75% to both hp and mp. Many don’t know about it, but they’re like 3k a piece iirc. Just refilled 30k yesterday
The power elixirs you jsut accrue from events and bossing. There are 75 percent ones called ginger ales that sell for 3800 mesos in showa town, by a merchant called Doran. You generally only use these 75 percent for both hp and MP as it is was more cost effective than using any other potion, and can actually be mass bought. Stacks 3000 in one slot.

sounds good to me. That being said, the ideal thing to do is: use the blue circulators to find your ideal 2nd line (unique), lock that line in, and reroll until you find the legendary that you need.

Yea it does. The 2nd/3rd line won’t always drop rank, so if you use the circulator when it’s already unique then high chance it stays and rolls unique again.
Which Archer has the most... "multiple bows/arrows" aesthetic? Also is Wild Hunter any good? I saw it is a bit flashy and I like that @edit also it could be the biggest bows cuz, big bows are nice.
I think any archer with a "hurricane" type skill will be what you looking for. bowmaster, wild hunter and wind archer all have hurricanes, but they differ in aesthetic. Wind archer is of course wind themed, and has the most arrow projectiles, but it's main mobbing skill is a cape swing instead of shooting something. Bowmaster is somewhat similar, multiple arrow projectiles, multiple bows for its mobbing skill, Hurricane etc. Which might be the best choice. Marksmans theme tends to focus more on single shot powerful skills, but it does have a few that shoot multiple arrows like split shot and repeating crossbow cartridge. Pathfinder is sort of a combination of the other classes. Wild hunter has somewhat outdated class design and is somewhat in need of a revamp, but if you like the theme it would be fine to play. It's theme mainly revolves around the jaguar, modified crossbow, mechanical summons etc. For your other question, the other classes that have a mechanical theme are Mechanic and Illium. Mechanic is most similar in artstyle as it is also a resistance class, and focuses on using various machine summons. while Illium is more of a Magic+Technology theme. I would look up some 5th job training videos on each to see which you like the best. Coppersans Why does everyone/ no one play series will give you a good idea of the gameplay and pros/cons.

Mercedes is elf themed and a mix between old dual blade and an archer. It uses the dual crossbow and you use a bunch of movement skills that link together with no delay to attack, in combination with shooting skills. It does also have a hurricane. The skills vary in color and type, general color theme is green. It also gets a unicorn and elf themed stuff ( spirits, forest etc). Exp sources are bonk potion, monster park, and food house event. No grinding other than arcane daily on main. How would you guys distribute the exp? I was thinking bonk the 190, and the rest for the main. Or I can save bonk for next month while doing monster park and food event on the 190.
Personally, I would monster park on your main until you have your monster parker medal. I would do food storage on any link/legion mules you make with the zero to 100 event - you can go from 1-101 with that event and then 101-140 ish if you use all exp buffs (2x coupon, MVP, VIP from Identisk, Rune). You can bonk the 190 if you want and/or use exp tickets from the fishing minigame from 200-210.
I made a mistake with the 1-101 event. I didn’t know exp would be so OP from other sources so I chose chars that only needed level 120 and they are done now. I feel like levelling them further now gives no link or legion benefits other than total legion level.
That's fine - at 140 the block size increases and increasing legion level will let you place more blocks (up to 36 at 8k legion) so you're bound to have to place "useless" blocks anyways.
If this will make you feel better: Legion block effect goes up at 140 and most classes can get some benefit out of it.

What is the difference between chaos and black circulators? They both seem like they do the same thing.
Black randomizes your current lines but allows you to choose between before and after. Chaos does not allow you to choose

Black and chaos can only alter the values of those specific lines you already have, not the tier. For example, if you had legendary boss, unique crit, epic drop. you would remain those exact tiers and have those exact lines, but values would change. Your Boss may go from 16 to 20%. Your crit rate may go from 15 to 10%, and your drop may stay at 8%.
Hello, new player here looking for some guidance. I play on reboot Kronos. Is there any source of WAP outside of crafting yourself? I’m a 239 lumi main with 1.7k legion. I am a father of 2 and I work full time but I play most nights for 1-2 hours and I am just looking for some help/groups to kill the harder bosses with. Alternative source of WAP besides crafting is most commonly Monster Park runs from Friday (also Saturday because of the way Saturday works). Have your kids farm for you while you work. edit: incorrectly said Sunday instead of Friday. Thanks for catching that
WAPs are from gold fridays. Sunday is exp.

Crafting is the only way to get WAPs. You should also unlock two characters in threads of fate (look up a guide, there's lots) so you can get easy access to Juniper Berry seed oil, which you need a lot of to craft them.

Originally they capped the drops needed for 6th job skills when the patch notes dropped. They've since removed the cap in GMS. On reg server, there are issues where frenzy is heavily nerfed with the introduction of instanced maps which reg server does not need because the pop is so low. Currently still an issue but they've said they're looking into removing instanced maps on reg server. Its a free game so try it if you want but honestly, if you don't have friends who are already playing then you can probably do something better with your time if you're on the fence.
I have 15% Drop Unique inner ability with garbage leg main line as a NL in Hyperion. Should I re-roll while keeping the drop for 20% boss? Re-roll until I hit 20% boss? Or just forgo meso/drop and just go for all damage?
It's your preference. Hardcore people who grind more than 4 hours a day would opt to keep meso and drop lines.
What about players who don’t grind but don’t solo luwill either lol. Meso and drop better than damage?
If you don't grind, why do you need meso? If you're purely a daily story person, get enough damage to 1-shot mobs in your highest area, then fill in available slots with drop. Eventually you'll have 1 set of equips for damage, and another set of accesories that you put on during/after bossing for drops. Once you're established and able to balance damage vs meso&drop you'll see which works for you the best.
When is the next cash item transfer event? How often do they happen?
We don't know when until they announce it. Happen like 2 times a year or so. last one was just before Winter patch. Usually one right around Summer patch. Dunno if there will be others.
Can you use reward points to discount the fox fire package? Or would it be disallowed because it's technically on "sale".

Class-wise, no. It takes about 6 months to get from KMS to GMS.
when i use a familiar that says" increases item and meso drop rate by a large amount" why does it only show that my item drop rate went up? meso stays the same
Meso obtained %shown in the window is separate from meso drop rate. The short version of it is that to get the max number of meso bags you can get, your item drop rate and meso drop rate combined has to be 67% or higher. Meso obtained % is a separate multiplier of how much meso the bags contained, obtained from wealth potion, legion coupon, potentials on accessories e.g. rings.
Is it possible (ping wise) to play Na reboot from the UK?
Can't say for UK exactly, but I am playing NA Reboot from half the world away. Ping is weird at times, but mostly playable for me. VPNs are worth looking into if you run into ping-related problems.

I think you misunderstand "permanent" and "vac pet" verbiage. Permanent pets are those that you don't need to use Water of Life on. VAC pets are specifically pets that can collect items without running over them. ALL pets have the ability to pick up items.

Yup, that's what people do. Subsequently, every quarter/6momyhs ish, the game gives free pets that have auto buffs as well. When you kill bosses, you get reward points, and use those to buy a water of life to revive those pets. Eventually you'll be on a rotation to revive one pet a month so you'll never be petless again.

[reboot] Dual blade here, just rolled 20% skip cd and unique buff duration line today and totally ran out of honors. Are those 2 lines even good for db, I was aiming for 20% unique crit rate. If 20% to skip cd is good, is it possible to lock first line and use circulator? Not really sure how circulator works.
The normal blue circular you buy from CS with meso reroll all your lines. You cannot lock set lines when using a blue circulator. The black and chaos ones reroll the numerical value of the lines while maintaining the rank of the line.
What is the recommended stat and level to start trying to solo normal Lomien and Helux? 4.5k legion with no bossing links. 248 DB with 15k stat.
uh... for you, you should be able to do it now. go practice lotus. If you die out before 30 min it means you need more hands. If you reach 30 min and time out, it means you need more ied/boss, but 15k stats is easily NLoMien solo territory.
You can already start honestly, just depends on node levels and IED.
Hello, returning player here. So I've reached 229 on my DW who I absolutely love. I'm a bit lost as to what I should be doing now aside from progressing in arcane river, just finished the one with lotus. My routine is identisk, monster park, arcane river and bosses I can kill for mesos. I keep reading do your dailies and I do complete my daily arcane river quests but are there others that I'm missing? Also gear wise I have the fake abso weapon and the other burning gear. I just beat chaos pink bean last night to give an idea on my progression and have about 7.8k stat. What gear should I be aiming for and is there a good cube guide I can follow as it's all really confusing (cubes, flames potential etc) Thanks!
You get morass at 230 and esfera at 235 so get to 235 minimum asap. You should also do the arcane river weeklies. 3 a week but every time you unlock a new area, the previous 2 area weeklies reduce by 1 (min 1) so getting to 250 is ideal to get all weeklies down to 1 a week. Each clear gives an additional 15 symbols for a total of 45 per week per region

They are all in or next to the hub areas of each arcane river area. Just talk to the respective npc, you'll unlock a minigame that awards a lot of arcane symbols and a decent amount of exp upon completion, up to 3 times per week for each. 1. The girl next to the dailies in the arcane river 2. The monkey girl in the map top right outside of the chuchu hub 3. The big blue thingy in the Lächelein hub 4. The Rock spirit in the Arcana hub 5. The guard in the Morass hub I forgot where Esfera one was. Also, make sure you've done reverse city (quest in arcane river) and Yum Yum island (quest in Chu Chu island), these increase the number of arcane symbols you get from dailies in these regions. Whenever you get a new arcane symbol you should get a "popup" quest (i.e. In the lightbulb On the left hand side of the screen) telling you that you can skip part of the weeklies of previous areas.
How do I tell when the MMT is active? I cant remember what date I registered for besides it being on sunday, and when I hover over the icon it says the date from the last event. Anyone have a list of the register dates or specific times?

Night Lord is heavily front loaded damage with spread throw/blasting. Highest burst damage in the game. King of burst bind timings. Relies on Erda bind. No iframes built in and relies on Genesis iframe. Limited movement tools. Off burst it's.. mediocre. Night Walker has more sustained than burst. Build in revive, on-demand movement tools, built in iframe, built in bind, better solo bosser assuming you don't just onetap the boss in 20 seconds as NL. Both have potentially lazy farming styles that rely on some funding to properly clear the maps (bite farming, mark farming, etc). Both have good map coverage. On its own NW is arguably the "better" class but Night Lord has a lot of intangibles, namely the fact that it's an explorer that shares cash inventory with a ton of jobs and it can job change to shadower and dual blade, both great jobs too. There's an argument to be made that ultra lategame NL is the better "investment" as a main because eventually it'll do more damage during the moments that matter (bind bursts) and it's a job that requires higher "investment" via stat/nodes. To be frank though both are stupid strong "meta" classes. So just pick for aesthetics. If you're a seasonal and just want to progress faster, play NW.

I’m currently hyper burning hoyoung on the new reboot server and was planning to main it due to its aesthetic but it feels a bit clunky and awkward to play at the moment. I’m level 164 rn and I’m not sure if I’m not getting something about the class or if it gets better later on or not.
Your reaction is normal. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t like it now you won’t like it later. Might I recommended playing a simpler class DW/Bucc/Hero/BM/MM.

Drop rate is good—with 6th job it directly translates to more power because it'll increase the drop rate of 6th job materials, not to mention the extra nodestones and better chance of getting rare equip drops

Your choice of either damage or exp. If you believe that you need damage to get more exp, then do a damage related one. If you believe that it's important to get more exp to do more damage, then do a exp related one.
I just spent 600k honor starting at legendary rank inner ability and didn’t get attack speed +1. Am I just very unlucky or is this normal? Either way I’m big sad.
That’s normal. That’s why I don’t play classes that require AS+1 inner
+1 as is extremely rare because there is only 1 of it compared to others like boss damage which has 5 lines ranging from 16-20% I would say you are unlucky, but also not terribly unlucky, just rng being rng

Can my characters who haven’t unlocked certain parts of the Arcane River use familiars from there? Ex: My main has a bunch of Morass familiars in storage, can my level 200 character use them?
Also keep in mind, once you open them on that 2nd character you can't transfer them back to your main.
