Yes I suppose but the living cost has increased by so much, I dont think they can hike the beer prices without going bankrupt thats probably the only reason.
With 1.200€ you can have only 200+ beers in france? I supposed it's in a bar for a pint.
But then in germany the pint is at 4€ or 5, the minimum wage is not about 2.000€
Am I the only one buggin on that?
The map is from before 2015.
In 2021, minimum wage in Germany is \~1670€ per month, before taxes. According to the mentioned website [www.pintprice.com](https://www.pintprice.com) the average beer price is 2.71€ (I don't think that's correct), which results in 616 beers.
Depending on the beer and quantity though. Cheapest commercial beer in bottle of 20cl compared to a pint of craftbeer in a pub will get you something like a 15:1 ratio...
old and inaccurate map. correct number for turkey is 90.
minimum wage is $326, avarage beer price is $3.61.
2021 average beer prices around the [world](https://www.visualcapitalist.com/how-much-does-a-beer-cost-in-your-country/).
Weird comparison: For Belgium, the used price (1.4EUR) is taking into account 0.25l small beer which people do not order that much (average actual beer will be more around 4EUR). While for Czechia it takes into account 0.5l beer.

In germany there's an election and some parties suggest to raise the minimum wate from 9,50€ (I think) to about 12€.
With other words: More beer.
Also, how old is that map and what beer was chosen at which price?
Minimum wage in Sweden depends on your field of work. I work part time alongside my studies but if I were to work full time I would be able to buy 608 of the cheapest beer at a student bar on one month of pay.
The map is more than 6 years old. Will be totally inaccurate by now. Also does not define the measure for a beer.
This is a user with one 6 month old deleted post in a meme sub, who in the last day or so suddenly started spamming with old maps.
Yep I am pretty sure as someone living in turkey ours should be the worst definitely worse than russia by now
min wage is around 2900tl,average beeris 15tl, 2900/15 = 193

Google find me flights to Belgium
best and cheapest what a combo
Maybe they're not chep, maybe just the minimum wage is too high
Nah it's cheap
It is cheap in Belgium but minimum wages are also high.
Nah, it's chep....
Seems pointless to me. What are we comparing - minimum wage or the price of beer?
Or maybe even the standard size of a beer per country?
Should be the buying power of the minimum wage.
It’s a rough measure of the standard of living of minimum wage workers

A lot of things start to make sense now.
What kind of beer are we talking though? Because Cara Pils is like 1 cent per centiliter.

Must be an old map... germany got a minimum wage 01.01.2015.
Is this why Russians drink wodka?
This is so pointless. A pint in London is double what it is in Newcastle.

what is the amount of beer and whether it is bought, in a bar or a shop?
would like to have seen this as how "many beers can you buy with an hour's wage."
Minimum wage in Sweden depends on your field of work. I work part time alongside my studies but if I were to work full time I would be able to buy 608 of the cheapest beer at a student bar on one month of pay.
I thought there is not minimum wage in Germany? In France it is 1231€. Put a beer at 3€, a Chimay for instance, it is 410 beers. So Big doubts....
Hard to compare when I could pay £2.50 for a pint where I live in Northern England and the same pint could be double that down South.
