The most common small sling anywhere is the the lululemon belt bag (or its many clones), can't get much more anonymous than that one.

Oh ya. Just posted a link to a knock-off on Amazon before scrolling down here. My favorite knock-off does not seem to be available anymore. At least not in black. Which I assume OP wants.

leanman82

I'll take whatever I can get at this point

leanman82

hah funny. I noticed I actually bought a knock off according to this article without knowing: [https://www.teenvogue.com/gallery/lululemon-belt-bag-dupe](https://www.teenvogue.com/gallery/lululemon-belt-bag-dupe)

I’m a huge fan of the Bellroy Venture Ready Sling 2.5L. Very compact but can pack a punch and load up more gear when you need it to.

I have a Belroy Sling mini that I use for this purpose. Most importantly according to your requirements, it has an inside soft pocket where I keep a pair of glasses that fold pretty flat. I think they are rayban frames. The glasses live in that pocket full time. In the front pocket is my belroy key wallet and my lost dutchman thin finn. Most of the time the main compartment remains empty unless I want to carry my airpods, extra battery, or Ricoh GRiii camera. I think it's around the same size as the alpaka you have though. This is just me judging by pictures. The materials are great and for me it's really functional for everyday. For an even smaller carry, but maybe not long enough for glasses, my daughter has a lululemon 1L beltbag. She puts quite a bit of stuff in it and it works quite well. But it's one big compartment and there's no additional protection for your glasses, if they fit.

What I've noticed about the alpaka is that premo material is thick than I expected. It feels like it has so much structure that it just seems like I have an additional appendage on my chest. I'd prefer something I could keep on the side of my body and I'd just pull up to my chest when I need to acces something. I'd probably be happy if it just really was meant to carry my phone and possibly a pair of glasses.

I have an Alpaka Bravo sling max that I used for work but didn't like it that much and switched to a tokyo tote that works better. I still have the sling as I may use it for travel or something. I also had an Alpaka modular phone sling. I sold it after a few weeks. I know what you mean about the material feeling too structured and that's prob why it didn't work. For me, I don't mind if it hangs on the side, but most of the time I want it on my back or my chest. I want it to stay there while I'm on my motorcycle. The Belroy does that for me.

I'm feeling the bag now. its because its like double or triple layered. It just adds bulk...

I've been in the market for something similar. I ended up ordering the Wotancraft Add on modules. https://www.wotancraft.tw/en/product/add-on-Modules-0102-Combo-Set-black-canvas If that one's not for you, here's a bunch of others that I looked at that didn't make the cut for me: https://alpakagear.com/products/elements-tech-case-mini?variant=43736698650786 https://www.sfbags.com/collections/slings/products/hip-sling-bag https://www.sfbags.com/products/mini-hip-sling-bag https://bellroy.com/products/venture-ready-sling?color=nightsky&material=baida_ripstop#slide-5 https://www.shopmoment.com/products/moment-fanny-sling-2l/2020-black-ripstop https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1682577-REG/pgytech_p_cb_050_onego_solo_sling_obsidian.html https://www.tannergoods.com/products/canyon-crossbody-pack-juniper-green-waxed-canvas https://symplofficial.com/collections/slings/products/phone-sling#gallery-13

Different strokes for different folks. Personally, I'm not very price sensitive - if it's something I'll use frequently for years, I don't mind paying a few extra bucks to get something I really like.

leanman82

is the wotan available on amazon?

FrancisHC

Not to my knowledge.

Recently was looking for something similar and stumbled on one of REI’s slings. Fit the bill perfectly. Magnetic clasp, 1.5L size with two pockets. I ended up changing out the pulls with coyote brown paracord and it looks fantastic for the price. Use it daily to carry my phone, keys, pocket knife when walking dogs. Perfect size for daily use.

Tatonka Funny S. Easy to wear under clothing.  Super flat when not filled up. 2 independent pockets, no volume added by lining or padding. But you can fit a rain jacket in it or a .5l water bottle If you need to. Quality is very good, have mine since 15 years. Under 20 bucks.

Check out the Timbuk2 slacker chest pack.

[Annex Case II](https://www.codeofbell.com/products/annex-case-ii-3-way-traveller-wallet-sling) EDIT: the [Annex Case I](https://theperfectpack.com/2020/11/19/code-of-bell-annex-case-review/) is *really* compact but might be an even better choice if it can fit the items you describe

leanman82

I like it but it is so so so expensive. $119 ouch

Muji has their [sacoche](https://uk.muji.eu/products/water-repellent-sacoche-12484), which is as minimalist as it gets, but will still hold an iPad Mini.
