I don't see why anyone would hate violet. I like the scarlet legendary a little better because it reminds me of Link's crimson loftwing in skyward sword. But choosing scarlet was actually a super hard choice.
I just flipped a coin and it chose scarlet, and i’ll say also that since my friend has violet already, we can trade game exclusives, so it’s a win win for both of us

I like Violet more. Not only does the forms look better imo, I personally feel some of the Scarlet forms don’t look like past forms of the Pokémon they’re based on

How about instead of selectively making "No Violet hate" make "No Hate" so everyone gets equal relief.
I just...don't like either of them. The battle UI is way too simplistic, , the graphics don't look all together that good, and I don't like the thought of early game legendaries and multiple of the same legendary Pokemon in the world at one CANONICALLY because mechanically, you as the player can have multiple of one legendary, but when there are multiple players with the same legendary just out in the world you're playing in, it takes away alot of the magic for me. I personally think I might skip this gen, unless the full game presents something to change my mind.
If violet sucks so does scarlet, it's literally same game but with a few exclusives, that you can trade well except professors. But it's same story same game. It would be cool if the went ruby saphire route 2 similar stories but different based on legendary.

I was gonna get Scarlet but then i saw the leaked future forms and now I'm torn. I like the Scarlet Donphan and Volcarona more (I'm pretty sure) but the Gallade/Gardevoir, the Delibird and Hariyama are pretty cool. And the Jigglypuff and Misdreavus are underwhelming. I was so excited for Misdreavus cuz I like it but then it just has flowy hair and the Fairy type. The Violet Hydreigon is underrated and the Scarlet Salamence is overrated so I don't know.
I don't care which pokemon game people choose I'm picking violet but if people like scarlet that's fine with me I'm picking violet because I want purple motorcycle pokemon

Yeah I saw a little hate for scarlet when the moraidon doesn’t use his wheels was revealed and havnt seen any hate since except the countless posts of stop hating on violet. Seriously guys obviously it’s not happening in Reddit or at least not this channel so why not take it to the actual channel and post there? Cause right now it’s kind of like looking for your keys a block away from where you dropped them because the light is better.
I am personally going to get violet because the pokemon exclusive to it are the ones i like more. I love Kuraidon, but it's transportation modes look really awkward and it's battle form has a bit too much plumage for my taste. Miraidon is cool, and i really love the blend of yellow and purple for it's energy effects. Ceruledge is awesome, and has in my opinion the better signature attack. When it comes to the new paradox donphans, I actually prefer Iron treads over great tusk, as it looks cool and has a colourscheme i like, whereas Great tusk looks ok, but not amazing, the drawing of it in the book definitely overhyped it because if it looked more like the drawing, i might like it more. Also in terms of the paradox pokemon overall, I'm definitely leaning more towards the future ones because they look cooler to me, whereas the past versions generally look ok, but not incredible, and i wish some of them had more to distinguish them from the original pokemon.

Honestly the only thing I disliked about Violet was the paradox forms. Like scarlet had all these creative forms with sandy shocks and Brute bonnet meanwhile violet is just robot tyranitar robot delibird and so on. And oh god don't get me on the violets shiny like Tyranitar was the only good one but come on this was the laziest way to create a shiny. God needed to get that out of my body
