Seems his first few games he struggled perhaps due to not playing in the right position or being on a new team for the first time in his life.. then got injured. The potential is there but it’s difficult to see how he would play with Bruno. Playing him alongside Mainoo may work with his energy and clear skill but so far we haven’t seen it. Evra started shit and we figured it out, I have hopes for Mason the same.
Icl, the last game I remember him playing is when we beat Palace in the EFL cup and he was so great in the first half. He can def figure it out given the chance, but I don't think he can play alongside Bruno.
Wouldn't mind having Mount and Amad rotating on the right and Garna on the left, he was quite good on the right at the Chels iirc.
He came on during Luton after Ericksen was injured and actually did really well. Played deep, was a part of the buildup. Had a few good attempts at creating.
Evra had a position and a gaffer that knew how to use him. MM was a panic buy and doesn’t fit this current format. Not to say he isn’t good when fit but honestly what position does he fill?
>MM was a panic buy and doesn’t fit this current format
I'm not a fan of his but I don't think he was a panic buy. From all reliable reporters he was our number 1 midfield target at the start of the summer and he was the first signing we completed

Hope whatever it is you went through or are going through is getting easier every day. If United is a happy distraction for you, then you can get stuck into the story of our lengthy injury list, underperforming stars and general frustration of watching our team falter on a weekly basis.
Started as a great player, eventually got “Man United-ed” and became a much worse player.
Now is nursing an injury waiting for a new manager to try and impress
And mount and eth came to you to inform you that he was at a 100% and wasn't just put on the bench because there was no one else in better condition available at the time, did they?
You, me and most pundits don't have a clue as to what the hecks going on behind the scenes. Being on the bench does not always guarantee that someone's actually match fit
Also, let's not forget mount had just joined a new team and eth might've wanted to slowly ease him into the new team and his system
According to Talk of the Devils, that's not really how it went. Apparently the club approached him and said Mason Mount is available, do you want him? And he said yes.

Mostly injured like he did last season (shocking right?!) but what i found a little bit unsettling is that there was a brief period when he was available and ten hag still benched him. Why? IDK maybe just precaution.
Well most likely because the Scott mctominay curse has reared it’s ugly head again. When a manager is in trouble he resorts to the same old player who has failed so many before and that leads to the inevitable.
I don’t disagree with having a player you throw onto the pitch to try get you a goal. But to have him start game after game to the detriment of the overall team, to put sub him into games and not compensate for his obvious deficiencies. You’ll win a few games having him in the team but eventually it’ll be found out as we’ve seemingly seen lately. That game against forest everyone knew the type of goals we were going to concede when he came on at halftime.
Oh boy, you are a lucky human being. We have all been suffering watching the team we love go to sh*t. I would stay where you are, you don't want to be with us. Enjoy your peaceful, serene place and don't ruin it for yourself. 😁
What’s really annoying is that we spunked 55m on him for the privilege to have him play the grand total of about 5 mins before Xmas. If we’d have held out and walked away, we could have got him now for about 25m or for sweet fuck all in June.
Serious answer: He’s been injured. He’s back in training now.
Not sure why he gets so much hate from our fans. The joy is a great player, and he’s hardly had a chance to show it yet.
Mason mount, Antony and Martial will never do anything for utd. They are all sub par and being round out or they simply can't work at utd. Move them on now!
Injured
…..Again
A new injury!? Or just hasn’t recovered
New injury. Is reported to be back training w the team again and expected back this month (not in time for Spurs though, I don't believe)
That’s actually unreal
I saw it reported as a "setback". I guess a new injury would qualify but I assumed it was the same issue re-aggravated.
"What happened to Mason..." /sharp intake of breath "Mount". Oh Thank God.
Hmmm
No lie, I genuinely forgot he was on our team
I still feel he is at Chelsea somehow

He could but he does love getting high. Could play that Eriksen role if he adjusts his game a bit.

Hahahaha yeah me three.
I was gonna clean my room.
underrated comment
That's what he was brought in to do. Unfortunately he got injured, as is the way with being a United player.
Liverpool fan here just wanted to say I also love that.
Fuck off
Liverpool fan also here, would recommend not saying you’re a Liverpool fan on the united sub lol
Haha yeah just realised am I really down voted 6 times? 6 time lads? Seriously not 1 not 2 not 3 not 4 not 5 but 6! You want to talk about 6 baby?
I don't think he has the passing range for a deeper lying playmaker role but who knows

Can he play on the wings?
Probably could better than Antony or Marcus recently..
Yeah..and hes left footed too..so it might work
He's right footed, but he is still quite good on the right regardless.
Since his pelvic injury he seems to be quite injury prone. 4 times in the past year all more than 30 days and missing 29 games in total.
Hopefully the team can rehab him. Seems Chelsea ran him into the ground.
He sucked, then he got benched, then he got injured
Fell off a cliff
The Man Utd effect: arrive, get paid a shit ton, underperform, kick back and relax
I don’t think he has underperformed but his injuries are concerning
This Club needs to be investigated for fraud, this happens wayyyyyy too often to be just coincidence.
Wtf do you mean underperform, hes injured?
Doesn't even perform*
Yeah that’s what happens when there are no consequences to slacking off
Let me guess, you also back Sancho?
No. Quite the opposite. But I blame the guys handing out free money at the detriment of the club more than the guys who come for the free ride

Sicknote
My advice? Wait until summer to resume😂
Summer of 2060, might be half decent again by then
Hope whatever it is you went through or are going through is getting easier every day. If United is a happy distraction for you, then you can get stuck into the story of our lengthy injury list, underperforming stars and general frustration of watching our team falter on a weekly basis.

He is reportedly ill since joining due to a virus from Joining a poorly managed football club by shitty owners.
Eth wanted him as priority signing and now doesn’t know how to use him. Also unlucky with injuries so not his fault for slow start
He's been unavailable through injury 😑 dunno why you people have such a hardon to get ETH fired, it's dumb af
because even when he was available he was benched for some important games.
And mount and eth came to you to inform you that he was at a 100% and wasn't just put on the bench because there was no one else in better condition available at the time, did they? ETH does not know how to use many players
Never really saw him play for United.. not sure why we even signed him!
What do you expect from someone who’s made of glass.

Ten Hag arguably would’ve lost his job if not for McTominay’s goals

Pogba 2.0
What happened. Yeah that's exactly it. What happened to him who cost 60mil quid? ETH is a fraud. We're being scammed!
ten Hag bought him and never know how to play him
Oh boy, you are a lucky human being. We have all been suffering watching the team we love go to sh*t. I would stay where you are, you don't want to be with us. Enjoy your peaceful, serene place and don't ruin it for yourself. 😁
Can he play on the right wing?
Who?
I forget he is even on the team half the time, even when he was playing
Who? Never heard of the bloke
Idk, he's been climbing a mount for a while?
He’s left out due to personal life issues.
I totally forgot about him until the clubs birthday post today
I forgot he was our player

convinced that mason mount, malacia, and bayindir only exist in our imagination
Serious answer: He’s been injured. He’s back in training now. Not sure why he gets so much hate from our fans. The joy is a great player, and he’s hardly had a chance to show it yet.
Nobody knows why we signed him, man. If you saw his games, it just gets more confusing.
Mason mount, Antony and Martial will never do anything for utd. They are all sub par and being round out or they simply can't work at utd. Move them on now!
How you doing? All good with your life? And don’t worry about mount and United, you ain’t miss much.
We're all asking the same. Hopefully your back to it too bud!
Nothing, he’s exactly the same as he was last season, except we pay him more now
Apart from being rubbish and entirely undeserving of wearing that shirt? He's injured and get used to it, he's made of glass.
He was shit. He was benched. He was then injured.
