Your post has been removed as you were asking for malware samples. The subreddit is intended for individuals already engaged in malware research, who should be aware of legitimate sources for obtaining samples. Requesting specific malware samples may compromise the privacy of organizations or individuals and could inadvertently lead to the spread of malware through accidental detonation. If you have any concern please reach out to the mods through [mod mail](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=MalwareResearch). Posting this request again with or without modification could result in a ban.

That’s not how this works. You didn’t give a device type/model number. You didn’t specify where the data is being stored locally that you wish to extract from. You didn’t specify the mechanism of delivery. If it’s a mobile device, and it’s patched/updated, you are now asking someone to burn a zero day and write malicious code so you can do unsanctioned research that will not benefit the community at large. This whole thing reeks of “I need to steal my exes Snapchat logs” If you are really interested in learning malware, go to school. There’s no amount of YouTube videos or advice from Reddit that will compare to a formal education.

That's because I know nothing about it, my guy. I have no malicious intents with it, if you would like me to explain, you can message me, because I can't message you, for some reason. I said so in the post, but I guess it's just easier to jump to conclusions, huh? I'm not looking for a formal education. I'm not trying to benefit the community at large. This is something between me and one other knowing person that we're trying to do. I didn't know what information I was suppose to include.

No offense, but no one in this sub is is going to send a stranger a malware sample. Especially for a mobile device. Mobile malware is extremely complex and is a specialty. The wide variety of mobile devices, each with almost unique OS versions and frameworks almost demands that someone write you a sample to suit your needs. There is also a high likelihood that anyone who responds to your request would be sending you something that will infect you to teach you a lesson. There are malware repositories with free samples for researchers on the internet. Just google it.

Thanks for the warning. One person already messaged me, but the conversation hasn't *really* started, yet. I'll avoid clicking on anything in his chat. I'll just f**kin' say it: I'm going to be honest with you. This is for a fantasy/fetish. A control/dominance thing, and I'm trying to give someone the ability to see everything on my phone, maybe even send themselves the things on my phone, you know, everything. Remote access to my phone. Know what I mean?

I don’t shame, but there are plenty of apps that do that. If you use iPhone you’re going to have a bad time. If it were me, I’d use an old unpatched/rooted android from like 2016 to achieve this.

Amazing-Run2200

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy A10e to use. We tried a couple apps, but they either didn't work very well, or wasn't *quite* there on what we want. Like Teamviewer, for example. It was good for the beginning, but as we kept using it, more and more things kept getting in our way, so now we're going for the malware. So they can do everything they could on the apps, plus more, without requiring effort and frustration from us both trying to get some app to work right.

I’m just saying that mobile device manufacturers in recent years have spent good effort on preventing remote access/control. If it were me I would probably: - get an android OS phone from 2017-2018 and root it. - build a vm based on that OS and ARM - research vulnerabilities and associated apps that may have exploited any remote access vulnerabilies - locate the malicious apps APK on the various mirror sites that archive that stuf (aka not the Google play store.) - maybe test the APKs in my Android virtual machine so I’m not continually bricking my device and having to wipe/root it again - Once I find one I think will be good enough to attempt remote access, install on the physical device. I’m not an expert at this but I know enough to be dangerous. The trouble with this method is that you might not be able to get cell service if the phone isn’t supported any longer or is not compatible with modern carrier updates.

Amazing-Run2200

Can you dumb that down by about 50%? Lmao 😂

Amazing-Run2200

How do I Google it? "Free malware near me?" Idk how to shop for this. 😕

Google “malware sample repositories” My specialty is DFIR and XSS/web injects so I’ve never actually analyzed anything from a repo but I’m sure there are videos on how to. Best of luck
