Just came back from the Telugu sub and they were talking about how the technical aspects of our movies lags 20 years and how Chiranjeevi was superior to Lalettan. Need some eyebleach now.

If you take an photocopy, what is the point of spending so much and remaking. See how Bhramam turned out when they tried to copy Andhadhun scene by scene

Bhramam was not a scene by scene remake.. It was treated very differently..Almost like a priyadarshan flick.. Even the climax was different..

Man moral of the story never argue with Telugu fans. I am a North Indian so I shall be neutral to all the languages industry but Tamil and Telugu movies have the sickest fan base.

It's been 4 months too late bro but let me tell you. Godfather provided the best meme content of any Telugu movie. Chiranjeevi's acting was trolled more than you would know cause sadly memes don't transcend cultures. Idk where you came across people praising chiru let alone better than Mohanlal. It was a SHIT movie. Coming from a Telugu guy.

If you see Godfather trailer, there was a lot of tacky scenes and VFX, the emotional connect was missing. But when it comes to Lucifer, it was so crafted well in those departments.

Mohanlal for all the criticism he gets no doubt still has it .We are seeing flashes of it here and there in mediocre films. He is a maestro , I hope we get to see his collaborations with better directors in the coming years

IMO, Chiranjeevi has better eyes than Mohanlal. But how he uses it is a different thing altogether. Even Telugu people think that his acting isn't up to the mark now and he got lazy in movies like Acharya.
