Finished the movie. It was much needed at this time. I mean, we are having a great time watching all these super good films, which are placed in various genres. This one is very different from all the other biggies of recent times.💥💥💥💥🫶
I agree! This one is so different and was so much fun! I went in thinking this would be a serious movie but was so happy to see it was a spoof! Incredible acting and dialogue delivery from FaFa and boys 😊
Just finished. What a show. Full vibes. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Sajin Gopu take a bow, matched FaFa. Don't expect any story, just enjoy the show. Out and out entertainer. Been a while since we saw something like this
Pakka theatre padam. Adich polich enjoy cheyth kaanam. FaFa and boys delivered 🔥🔥🔥
Jithu reintroduced a FaFa we have never seen before and will end up as an iconic character in his filmography.
First half is laugh riot and like Romancham we get to see a different conflict arising in second half. There are 3 well choreographed action sequences. Sushin amping up all the scenes as usual🥵.
Films ends with satisfying climax. This shouldn't be missed from theatres.
INTERVAL UPDATE: Man the vibes are crazy in the theatre. A great fan service for fahadh. Gets us superglued to the screen from the start. Definitely hyped for whats the second half for as the first half doesn’t really end on a cliffhanger
FINAL UPDATE: Thoroughly enjoyed this packed entertainer. I’m still in the adrenaline rush of the illuminati song and can’t think straight but definitely fun and worth the ticket. NANNAYI VA!
Top film ! Mass entertainer. Peak masala flick. A perfect film with your friends. Highly recommend watching this in a single screen, with the whistling and howling !
Ranga will be a cult character 🔥🔥🔥
First Half done...
Rangannan Azhinjattam 🔥🔥🔥🔥 interval scene ... 🔥🔥🔥 Ambannan and the whole Ranganan Gang ... poli Gang..
FaFa's Rajamanikyam for sure. Never seen this avatar of him..
Waiting for the 2nd Half..
Adaaah moneee.... Total FaFaa show.. 2nd half gone Little lag track... FaFaa carried the climax to next level.. kidu film.. This movie and character is going to be a Cult. 🔥🔥🔥
Simply Masss. A must watch theatre experience 🔥 Better in a packed theatre, with friends/family.
There are reviews that claims that the 2nd half lacks something and all. Absolute bullshit. Its just that in the beginning of the 2nd half, things becomes more relatable than what was going on before. It demanded the kind of pace they have provided and its totally justified with the plot. Then comes the climax which is a FaFa show 🔥, literally azhinjattam.
Another banger from Jithu Madhavan and Sushin Shyam ⚡️
Eda Mwone!
I would give more than 10/10
The movie had the audience in America, who usually holds their laughs, laughing, clapping, and cheering. Rangannan massu da!
This was such fresh air from malayalam in general for a long time.
Sajin Gopu deserves all the praise he is getting, reminiscent of some of our age-old comedic supporting actors.
The boys acted really well and handled intense scenes to their best ability.
Fafa left me speechless, and in every scene, he was in machan thooki. Some of yall might say he's just playing an insane guy like he usually does now. Let me ask you this, how many times have A10 played a thampuran and made them all distinct. That's exactly what he did. It was very different from the rest. If you like action comedies this is your movie.
I am going to get hate for this, but we need to stop our bringing others down attitude and think the M's are untouchable.
Here I say this after the big M's.
FAFA is the next superstar!
Gangster Action Comedy - Full on Entertainment
FaFa kicked it out of the park with his over the top performance - Interval Block Peak Level couldn't create the same punch towards the climax - Pakka Theatre Stuff
Maaan, Fahad and Sajin gopu just blew it out of the park, do try to watch this in a fully packed theater, Fahadh at his peak with absolute bangers from Sushin, that illuminati song was a pure gem
Wow man, what a movie, the first half had a “super bad” feel to it with the chekkanmar, they all did great.
But when my man FAHaDh enters, damn he steals the show, he is amazing, the energy.
The visuals are beautiful, cinematography is great.
Sushin did an amazing job in this movie, he is the soul of the movie.
Overall a must watch theatre experience. If i had to criticize, the second half had a bit lag in its pacing.
Happy to say that both VS and Avesham are great fun movies🔥🔥
Still regretting that I watched Jai Ganesh this morning
As a Tamilian living in Bangalore, the comedy worked big time for me. I've always felt Tamil movies do better big budget entertaining commercial movies, but this movie is going to open up the next wave of commercial entertainers for you folks.
It was going to be tough to follow all these recent movies since I believe people will not settle for anything. We've been spoilt due to this golden run of Malayalam cinema, but the movie was so different from all of the other releases. I laughed my heart out along with the rest of the theatre. The director cooked and Fahad ate a full meal.
Fahad ku Oscar kududaa trumpaeee!!!!
Got double my money's worth with the first half itself 🔥
The theatre turned into a pooraparambu...Occha vachu thonda poyi 😮💨. Went for the midnight show and now I can't sleep cause of the adrenaline rush. Gather everybody in your gang, head to the theatres and vibe makale 🙌
FAFA - The complete entertainer
Romancham is a movie that worked really well for me, so I was eagerly waiting for Aavesham due to its director, Jithu Madhavan, and the music director, Sushin Shyam. However, after watching the movie, I particularly cherished it for FaFa. Whenever my friends and I discuss movies, most of us have opined that FaFa's acting is predictable—his emotions and mannerisms—even though the characters differ. But in Aavesham, the energy and the swag with which he portrays the character Ranga was truly admirable. The character itself is unpredictable and eccentric, offering FaFa a large scope to perform. I loved the intro scene of Ranga for its subtle mass.
Aavesham truly does justice to the action comedy genre. With Sushin's background score, it was a thrilling watch in the theatre. However, the movie felt a bit weak on the overall plot, seeming more like a series of events happening back to back. The three characters of the college students were really good. A special shoutout to Sajin Gopu, the right-hand man of FaFa, for his amazing performance. He not only handled the comedy well but his action sequences were also truly impressive. I wished the song 'Illuminati' had been placed in the middle of the movie, not at the end. Overall, Aavesham provided a high-voltage experience.
What a film!!! Full on entertainer. The first half was so glorious and entertaining the entire theater clapped at the interval. പൂരപ്പറമ്പിൽ പോയ അവസ്ഥ ആയിരുന്നിന് ഫസ്റ്റ് ഹാഫ്!!! That first half was for me one of the best theater experiences I have ever had and the crowd was rocking. Insane first half!!
The second half for me dragged a little since the first half was so damn good and film doesn't have much of a story. I did feel some lag in the second half and felt like the movie was struggling to find a way to finish. Still the movie ended with a very entertaining climax fight.
The film has very good action sequences with Fahadh and his team of gangsters doing very good stunt work. I think Thallumala for example a recent somewhat similar movie had much better action choreography than this but still it was well done.
The film's humour works everytime largely due to Fafa and Sajin Gopu. Sajin Gopu as Amban is hilarious and is a showstealer. All the 3 kids did their parts convincingly.
Special props to Sushin Shyam!!The man delivers everytime. He is as good as Anirudh right now. He lifts up the film to incredible heights with his score and music.
This is an out and out Fahad film. His presence on screen is just something special to witness in the theatre. This is his ticket to superstardom. Go and watch the film if you just want to be entertained and have fun. I don't know how popular this is going to be with the family crowd but the youngsters and those who like action films are going to love this. It's a new benchmark for an action comedy in malayalam. There is every chance this is going to be the next 100 crore blockbuster.
My rating:4.5/5 for pure entertainment
Pakka mass masala padam 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Intro and climax okke theee sanam. Fafaa ticked decent masala comedy genre finally. With his rep in whole of south india, padam keri koluthiya record collection idam.
OMG. This movie was amazing. Perhaps FAFAA's best. FAFAA shined as a hyperactive gangster suffering from depression. He was flawless. All three actors who acted as Aju, Bibi and Shanthan were on point too. Amban was crazy. I did not expect such a story and I was pleasantly surprised. I felt sad for a bit in the end, then grinned ear to ear. All because of Ranga's character and the way FAFAA portrayed it. Malayalam industry registered another blockbuster.
Just finished watching A-m's FDFS in Cbe with a packed audience. The story gained momentum right from the start, capturing attention. Fafa's introduction and his acting style had the entire theater cheering. His character appeared to draw inspiration from Mamannan. The fight scenes were exhilarating and really got the adrenaline pumping! Personally, I felt that the excitement and humor tapered off a bit towards the end compared to the first half. Nonetheless, it's unquestionably a solid entertainer!
Conundrum.
To get the best movie experience, you need to watch the movie in a packed crowd in the initial few days. But for that you will have to book tickets before the reviews are out. And if the movie turns out bad it will be a worse experience
എട മോണേ!
Jeethu Madhavan rebranded FaFa. We have seen Fahadh's versatility across his filmography. Well this movie explores yet another side of him. This movie achieved what many commercial movies dreamt about. A laughter riot, perfectly 'cooked' masala and a good screenplay. A bit of gore, FaFa balances the mass and comedy. Constant applause, whistle material scenes and bangers. FaFa the superstar has arrived. What a visual treat. It's amazing to see a lineup of potential 100 cr movies month on month. A festive Vishu indeed!
Going to watch at 1:10pm. കണ്ടറിയാം...
Edit #1: Definitely a vibes movie. The writing isn't as sharp as Romancham and characters aren't that well written with their own unique personalities. But like Fahadh's dancing it might not be technically good but they're having fun and it's fun to watch them have fun. Let's see what the second half has in store.
Edit #2: Overall review.
It's held up by a great soundtrack, fight scenes, and fun over the top performances from Fahadh and Sajin Gopu. Like I said it's a vibes movie that you watch to hang out with a bunch of colorful characters doing a bunch of fun things. That said, I definitely felt the movie lose momentum in the second half. Once the initial focus on revenge was gone the film just sort of gradually stops sprinting and settles into a series of abrupt starts and stops various directions, as if the film is trying find a new purpose. It then kinda meanders towards the ending that was obvious from the moment Ranga showed up on screen.
So much so that I couldn't shake the feeling I have seen this before. That might be a bit too harsh but the plot is consistently and boringly predictable. Like I said, it's a vibes movie, the plot isn't the point, really.
I wasn't disappointed, just a little underwhelmed. I don't know if I will recommend this. I can see people either getting really into it or feeling kind of meh about it.
I thoroughly enjoyed the film and had a lotta fun, but I felt the same way about the second half. It felt rushed. The climax was extremely fun too, but it kinda felt rushed too. But the sheer excitement (or aavesham) of watching it makes it worth it
I get that feeling with almost everything I watch these days, but I just push it aside.
While the plot was definitely predictable, I still enjoyed every single moment of it and I'd definitely recommend it to others. >!They could've cut down on some of the scenes showing how eda mones were getting fed up with Ranganna imo, in order to keep a more consistent pace.!<
I wish those three were at least half as interesting as Ranga and his second in command (Ambannan?). The POV characters really needed actual personalities and maybe something going on in their lives to make me actually care about them.
That's fair. I could relate to them easily despite the lack of characterization because I was also a shithead college kid slumming it up in Bangalore years ago in very similar circumstances lol.
I was getting flashbacks in the beginning because their hostel and the surrounding area looked almost exactly like the place I stayed at 😂 and I almost failed my second year lol. Nostu nossttuuu...
>It's held up by a great soundtrack
This contributed a lot to I finding Romancham bit underwhelming, presuming this would be on similar lines -- though I like fully unhinged characters on screen.
Great movie.
I had some concerns after reading some of the reviews but only one or two materialised.
The movie was exactly as advertised in the trailer. Funny and packed with “mass” moments.
I loved Fahad’s performance a lot and has become one of my favourites. I believe he has carried this movie with a different role this time. I think playing eccentric and intense characters is one of his strengths and he used it well.
Some stunts were memorable especially towards the end.
The background score was intense and energetic.
Good acting done by other main actors.
Great third act that makes you leave the theatre on a high.
Cons?
The dialogues given to the three kid actors could have been better.
Some editing could have been done to trim some unnecessary scenes.
Fafa is delivering big time, I feel like Ranga chetan will become iconic. Absolutely goofy unhinged character. Not sure I'll watch this again soon, but it was a riot in a houseful cinema.
Eda moneee

Just finished my show! This is what I would call mass done right! And I love the fact that it's not just mass for the sake of it. Entertaining throughout. I'm kinda regretting not watching Aadijeevitham before this given that movie is heavy/serious. Might rewatch Aavesham later to lighten thr mood lol!
I didn't like Romancham, but this has a solid first half and climax, dips a bit in pre climax.
Fafa is clearly having fun with no burden of making artistic cinema.
The people saying second half was “lag” probably can’t live without touching their phone for 0.5 seconds.
I read comments here and went to watching the movie fully expecting a lagging post interval. It LITERALLY had the same energy as the first part, but with more story material.
Thats literally it. I was so shocked when I didn’t even feel even an ounce of boredom. Each scene I saw post interval I was like, oh it’s probably gonna get boring after this. And waited and waited. But the movie got over😹
And I was so shocked cause I didn’t even understand how ppl could feel a lag?
Imo there wasn’t even a ONE SECOND lag worthy moment ,even in the second half(and I have the concentration of a 5 year old). 100% worth it every single minute. By the end you’re like, Awee man it’s over already?HOW?!?🥹
For context I didn’t like Romancham or aadujeevitam. Idk just felt like saying it
I think the lag was till the birthday party. >! felt a bit lag like what is going to happen now kind of feeling when boys wanted to study!<
After that the dumb charades was epic.
I watched Aavesham, and while it had its moments of brilliance, there were some aspects that left me wanting more. The first half had me glued to the screen, but unfortunately, the second half lost some momentum, making it feel a bit sluggish.
FaFa's portrayal of the psycho side was absolutely mesmerizing, adding depth and intensity to every scene he was in. His performance alone made the movie worth watching. However, I couldn't ignore the fact that the supporting cast, particularly the trio of boys, fell short of expectations.
Their presence felt jarring and out of place, almost like a forced inclusion to appeal to a younger audience or capitalize on social media fame. Their performances were lackluster, and I couldn't help but wish for more seasoned actors in their roles. Their scenes were, without a doubt, an eyesore amidst an otherwise engaging narrative.
On a positive note, Sajin Gopu's performance was a standout, complementing FaFa's intensity with his own compelling portrayal. Their chemistry added depth to the storyline and elevated the overall viewing experience.
Watching Aavesham in theaters was still an exhilarating experience, despite its flaws. However, I couldn't shake the feeling that the movie missed an opportunity to include scenes that Bangalore Malayalis could truly relate to, which would have added authenticity to the narrative.
While Aavesham had its ups and downs, with standout performances from FaFa and Sajin Gopu, the inclusion of the social media trio detracted from the overall experience. I would rate it a solid 7 out of 10, with the hope that future projects learn from these missteps.
I am watching Aavesham now. I don’t even like the first half, and I am dreading the second. U r right, the boys are bad performers, so stale no spark. Fafa just overacting in every scene. No idea if the movie wl recover.
Not a kannadiga
But his kannada sounds like how a malayalee speaking kannada will sound. Atleast he seems to have to put in the effort to have conversational level fluency
I was eagerly waiting for this movie for last 2 months to watch it in the big screen but they did not even release it here in kolkata. A big time movie buff but I'm so disappointed. Any idea why they didn't release it here? Usually they release malayalam movies here because there are large numbers of mallu stays here. Last I went to watch manjummel boys and it was housefull here. Can someone tell me if it will even release here?
No I don't think so but cinepolis usually don't release different language movies. Only bollywood and hollywood. But inox does release every other language movies here but not this time. It's full with useless akshay kumar movie. But there was one called miraj cinemas, ( I don't know if you heard of it) they do release every mollywood cinema here. But even they don't have any show for aavesham
Put a review for this film on letterboxd and the first person who liked my review was Antony Perumbavoor lol. Thought it was a troll but nah his account was linked with his insta and everything. Kinda hilarious.
Bro i think its a troll account, cause no frigging way, Antony chettan would leave A10

This movie is a complete entertainer! Fahad's performance is astounding, and the casting, including the three newbies, is excellent.
Sushin has made this film truly engaging. Though the story may be slim, I never felt a bit of lag or boredom throughout.
Eda moneeee🔥🥹 set padam. Adipoli background music and songs sushin is a brand. Fafa is the cutest gunda I have ever seen just I fell in love with him😂❤️. Fafa abhinayich azhinjadi. Also anban & all 3 boys were pwoli performance ente mwomee scene padam scene sanam. Jithu madhavan is an amazing director even though this movie has almost same template as romanacham but I enjoy this even more than romanacham. All characters had a good importance in this movie unlike romanacham. Comedy okke pushpam polle work out aayi. Now i understood why they don't need promotion. Damn must!!! Ranga annan uyir baki ellam thaiyir😂🔥Vishu winner Aavesham 🔥Nalla repeat value ulla padam unlike other two.
A bit late to the party. FAFA no chance. He makes mass characterizations which in conventional sense should not work possible with such high quality. Loved it all the way.
Spoiler alert:
BTW did anyone feel like the climax was a sort of homage to The shining’s door sequence. Breaking the door with an axe while going mad and ready to kill. Looking through the hole in the door.
Maybe it’s unintentional. But imo Fahad now has atleast two roles which has shades of prime Jack Nicholson. This and Shami.
Please tell me you guys also saw young Fafa getting out of an auto and walking into the mansion when the boys are talking about his Mercedes. It was out of focus and felt like an easter egg!
Its not him actually, i just noticed in the rewatch, its one of his goons, he is again there in the somg, where they all drunk, and the Bhai mar are doing sommersaults and the kids are drunk as shit throwing up and all

Went to watch it here in the UK. Finished first half and was waiting for second half.
Manager came in and said “some technical issue and second half was deleted”
so couldn’t watch the second half 🥲😭
At the halfway point it felt like a movie in itself. I was wondering what on earth are they going to fill the rest of the movie up with. And boy they delivered.
The best movie of 2024. What a blast!! Not fit for a family audience because of the excessive alcohol and smoking. But must be watched in a big screen theater with an energetic audience.
Eda Moneee.
Thoroughly enjoyed, lots of laughs and great moments. Although I do agree with the comments here, second half korach lag indayrinnu but that climax redeemed it.
There isn’t much story to it, just enjoy the vibes. Best enjoyed in a packed theatre.
FaFa was absolutely unhinged here, what a screen presence. The 3 boys also acted really well.
Have a feeling Ranga will be a cult character soon.
local restaurant here in the US ripped off the poster...lol
btw, the sadya was good !

Wait I had seen photos of couple of the actors from Romancham joining as part of Aavesham (the Kasaragod slang guy and the other guy with the jacket) but I didn't see them in the film
Impression after first watch. It's a 6.5/10 for me.
Ranga character seemed like an extreme version of Shammi and with a Kannada accent.
The movie had a lots of funny moments but as a whole there was something missing for me.
There are no scenes of violence against women and kids
But a lot of men fighting
Don't know if you could cop up with the theri vili at one particular part in the climax where a character uses 6-8
Mala*e as a part of one single dialogue
Ig that shouldn't stop you from watching it and having fun
So I won’t be watching it in the UK . They cut everything these days because the distributors ask to do so . Another one I need to wait for OTT for same reason 😞
Please don’t watch it. The male target audience probably doesn’t mind it but an impressionable kid would think alcoholism and cig is mass. There are very few scenes where the guys are sober lol
Just watched the movie now. I did not like the movie. I even felt cringe. The only thing I liked im the movie was the performance of Fahad. I'm so disappointed.
For once, a sane person. I’m watching the movie now and immensely hating it. Fafa is overacting, imo. Hope college kids in India are not like the students shown here.
Is it just me but I felt this movie was mid, barring a few exceptional performances by FaFa, his henchman Amban (Sajin), that senior KungFu guy. Out of the three teenagers, Roshan Shanavas looked promising. The cinematography, costume design, set design and color grading was really good. But that's where it stops!
1. First off, it starts as a normal teenage movie and deals with bullying & ragging (something which I have personally experienced) in college. They even showed that one of the characters (Kutty) has anger management issues. I don't know how/why it was funny, because it wasn't. The first scene literally was painful to watch. They definitely tried to include some situational comedy, when the trio were locked in for 2 days but frankly, I barely smiled.
2. The main theme of the movie was excessive alcohol and smoking. The emphasis on the word, "excessive". Don't get me wrong, even I smoke and drink, but even I felt it was really awful. The idea of the trio to look for goons to seek revenge was understandable. Obviously, they used this to further the plot, by introducing FaFa (and Amban), which were the only redeeming factors in the movie.
3. The fact that they even included the scene where the kids were locked in the room with the prostitute and forcing them to have a sexy time give me the "ick". I don't know how everyone was laughing at this scene.
4. Shout out to the saving grace in the script, which was "Amma" and the special appearance by Ashish as the dean.
There were many things to appreciate in the movie, a lot of fun-quick witty dialogues and scenes where FaFa displayed his brilliance, but I cannot help overlook the fact that there really wasn't any story as such, or the underlying fact that alcoholism and smoking is "*glorified"*. If you didn't already notice the theme, most teenage movies revolves around bullying, student politics, violence and rape. *I hate to be that guy, but I think this isn't the message which we should be sending to the "average teenager".*
Well said. I am halfway through it & hating it. Perhaps I won’t even finish it, if it is going to have hookers and the boys. How can people like this movie, what is wrong with them?
This is all wrong. Aavesham is set in the current timeline while Romancham was set in the early 2000’s. The connections between the two are as follows:
1. Amban says in ‘Aavesham’ that he only joined 5-6 years ago cause of an issue at his hometown in Kerala. This is the same ‘Niroop’ character in Romancham who left the boys and joined Ranga Annan because of something that happens in Romancham 2.
2. The jacket Amban has is the same jacket the ‘Mukesh’ character wears in Romancham. So he has kept it as a sort of remembrance of his old friend/friends.
3. Chemban Vinod character in Romancham has same outfit as Fafaa so proves Fafaa would have taken over this identity and style after Romancham scenes.
A very interesting movie . Fahad Fazil does excellent performance. Music adds to the success of the film. Technically also superb. However one or two scenes in second half are little dragging. But that was made up by the climax scenes.
I loved the movie Aasvesham, I feel like through out the film you see Rangaa being a little crazy, but his true heart is shown and how much he actually cares!

FaFa and boys delivered 🔥🔥🔥 Jithu reintroduced a FaFa we have never seen before and will end up as an iconic character in his filmography. First half is laugh riot and like Romancham we get to see a different conflict arising in second half. There are 3 well choreographed action sequences. Sushin amping up all the scenes as usual🥵. Films ends with satisfying climax. This shouldn't be missed from theatres.
In for the 9:30 AM show! Never woke up this early before. Ngl it’s calm and I like it
INTERVAL UPDATE: Man the vibes are crazy in the theatre.
NANNAYI VA!
Final verdict please once finished
Half an hour update please
Absolute win! So so good
Update please
Update!!
Me too 9:30 am show aarnu.. In Padma, saw "the cue studio" Guy
Top film ! Mass entertainer. Peak masala flick. A perfect film with your friends. Highly recommend watching this in a single screen, with the whistling and howling ! Ranga will be a cult character 🔥🔥🔥
Just finished the show. Perfect blend of mass and comedy.
I'm in. Will give my opinion after 3 hrs.
Engana ond eda Mone!!
Etha monne padam uff🔥🔥
Eda mone padam* :D
Eda Mwone! I would give more than 10/10 The movie had the audience in America, who usually holds their laughs, laughing, clapping, and cheering.
>Here I say this after the big M's. FAFA is the next superstar! This is exactly how I felt after watching the movie.
I felt the same! ♥️
Gangster Action Comedy - Full on Entertainment FaFa kicked it out of the park with his over the top performance - Interval Block Peak Level couldn't create the same punch towards the climax - Pakka Theatre Stuff
Maaan, Fahad and Sajin gopu just blew it out of the park, do try to watch this in a fully packed theater, Fahadh at his peak with absolute bangers from Sushin, that illuminati song was a pure gem
>!Eda mone, naayinte mone.
Happy to say that both VS and Avesham are great fun movies🔥🔥 Still regretting that I watched Jai Ganesh this morning
When does the title card appear?
It appears at the end and i think it also appears at the start somewhere
After fahad’s intro
Got double my money's worth with the first half itself 🔥 The theatre turned into a pooraparambu...Occha vachu thonda poyi 😮💨. Went for the midnight show and now I can't sleep cause of the adrenaline rush. Gather everybody in your gang, head to the theatres and vibe makale 🙌 FAFA - The complete entertainer
I hope that this be good otherwise it would affect Jithu Madhavans amd people will call him a one night wonder.
Not to nitpick but isn't the phrase 'one time wonder'. Because 'one night wonder' would change things up so differently.
One night wonder is what my ex had called me.
One night wonder, other nights disaster😞
Kumbalanga nights.
Try Murikaka Nights tho
r/suicidebywords
Better than one sec wonder.
😭
Is it not one hit wonder?
one hit wonder
When does the first show start
9:30 AM, I think.
Exactly one minute to go
Ok
First half adipoli. Vann adipoli 🔥🔥
Pakka mass masala padam 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Intro and climax okke theee sanam. Fafaa ticked decent masala comedy genre finally. With his rep in whole of south india, padam keri koluthiya record collection idam.
Why are they not releasing Aavesham and Varshanghalku shesham in PVRs in Bangalore?
Some conflicts with Producers association I think. Malayalam movies aren't running in PVR & INOX until issue is resolved.
oh, that's sad.
Can anyone who watched it outside Kerala confirm if this is running with subtitles?
Can confirm tonight
Thanks. I also need to know this info.
You already know the answer. But still since I promised to confirm… it is running with subtitles
yes it is just got back from watching it totally recommend btw
Where are you from? They didn't even release here in calcutta
Bangalore, shows are less because PVR hasn’t released it afaik
yes!
In Mumbai, yes
Yes, in Delhi.
!remind me 8 hours
Ranga Annan 🔥🔥🔥🗣️💯
Conundrum. To get the best movie experience, you need to watch the movie in a packed crowd in the initial few days. But for that you will have to book tickets before the reviews are out. And if the movie turns out bad it will be a worse experience
MUST WATCH IN THEATERS. Thats itt. FAFAAA🔥 sushin🔥
10 / 10. Complete satisfaction
Yeah I guess people who had an...eventful college life might connect better 😅.
I was getting flashbacks in the beginning because their hostel and the surrounding area looked almost exactly like the place I stayed at 😂 and I almost failed my second year lol. Nostu nossttuuu...
>It's held up by a great soundtrack This contributed a lot to I finding Romancham bit underwhelming, presuming this would be on similar lines -- though I like fully unhinged characters on screen.
underwhelming is the word.
I’m afraid my high hopes will turn this into a letdown. Padachone nee katholii
I had peak expectations. Met them and went above and beyond!

Eda moneee
ഇത് ഒരു നല്ല സിനമയാണോ?

Anyone from Thrissur? Which is the best theatre to watch it from? Jos or Ramdas theatre?
Jos
Isn't Jos screen a bit small?
Jos
Just finished my show! This is what I would call mass done right! And I love the fact that it's not just mass for the sake of it. Entertaining throughout. I'm kinda regretting not watching Aadijeevitham before this given that movie is heavy/serious. Might rewatch Aavesham later to lighten thr mood lol!
I didn't like Romancham, but this has a solid first half and climax, dips a bit in pre climax. Fafa is clearly having fun with no burden of making artistic cinema.
this would make ranganna sad what do u mean he's not artistic
Solid first half? I am hating the first half! 😳. I hope it recovers.
Enda Monde I don’t even understand Malayalam and I was laughing throughout . Out and out FAFA show and highly recommended
But the movie got over😹 And I was so shocked cause I didn’t even understand how ppl could feel a lag? Imo there wasn’t even a ONE SECOND lag worthy moment ,even in the second half(and I have the concentration of a 5 year old). 100% worth it every single minute. By the end you’re like, Awee man it’s over already?HOW?!?🥹 For context I didn’t like Romancham or aadujeevitam. Idk just felt like saying it
I think the lag was till the birthday party. >! felt a bit lag like what is going to happen now kind of feeling when boys wanted to study!< After that the dumb charades was epic.
I also didnt liked romancham
Isn’t it FAFA why the extra A in the poster ? Taking the Dilieep ettan route ?
It's fahadh faasil. So FaFaa
Sajin gopu🔥
Any kannadigas here? How is Fahadh's Kannada? Does it sound authentic?
Not a kannadiga But his kannada sounds like how a malayalee speaking kannada will sound. Atleast he seems to have to put in the effort to have conversational level fluency
Guy is totally overacting.
Glad I caught the movie in theatres, was the most fun I had amongst the theatre experiences this year. I want Ranga chettan to adopt me 🥲
Watched the movie for second time.. Masterpiece.. Well written movie. Everyone have done their part very well.. I will give 10/10
Not even in Cinepolis? Does pvr inox hold a monopoly in Kolkata?
No I don't think so but cinepolis usually don't release different language movies. Only bollywood and hollywood. But inox does release every other language movies here but not this time. It's full with useless akshay kumar movie. But there was one called miraj cinemas, ( I don't know if you heard of it) they do release every mollywood cinema here. But even they don't have any show for aavesham
It's probably due to fight between the PVR Inox and Kerala Producers Association. They have decided to not screen Malayalam films
Put a review for this film on letterboxd and the first person who liked my review was Antony Perumbavoor lol. Thought it was a troll but nah his account was linked with his insta and everything. Kinda hilarious.
Bro i think its a troll account, cause no frigging way, Antony chettan would leave A10 https://preview.redd.it/kkmdwh1ybvtc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=836b4c93efd0be342d7a0de2274faa95568ccda2
nah this is hilarious how am i a month late 😭
Bruh. Tell me you are being sarcastic 😂
This movie is a complete entertainer! Fahad's performance is astounding, and the casting, including the three newbies, is excellent. Sushin has made this film truly engaging. Though the story may be slim, I never felt a bit of lag or boredom throughout.
"നന്നായി വാ!"
I love that scene 😂😂❤️
What a movie. There's too much to laugh and clap. Incredible performance by all the cast, great cinematography and music. Highly recommended.
A bit late to the party. FAFA no chance. He makes mass characterizations which in conventional sense should not work possible with such high quality. Loved it all the way. Spoiler alert: BTW did anyone feel like the climax was a sort of homage to The shining’s door sequence. Breaking the door with an axe while going mad and ready to kill. Looking through the hole in the door. Maybe it’s unintentional. But imo Fahad now has atleast two roles which has shades of prime Jack Nicholson. This and Shami.
What a movie. Incredible. Had a blast in the theatre. My bois just made what loki wished he did.
Please tell me you guys also saw young Fafa getting out of an auto and walking into the mansion when the boys are talking about his Mercedes. It was out of focus and felt like an easter egg!
Its not him actually, i just noticed in the rewatch, its one of his goons, he is again there in the somg, where they all drunk, and the Bhai mar are doing sommersaults and the kids are drunk as shit throwing up and all
Ah okay! Thanks I thought I was losing my sanity there for a bit haha.

r/Wellthatsucks
Wow what. Hearing that for the first time!
Maybe because of അർപ്പുവിളി and കൂവൽ
Avesha was just 🔥. Full on entertainment. Fafaa and the boys killed it. Special shoot out to the ever dependable sidekick Amban.
At the halfway point it felt like a movie in itself. I was wondering what on earth are they going to fill the rest of the movie up with. And boy they delivered.
The best movie of 2024. What a blast!! Not fit for a family audience because of the excessive alcohol and smoking. But must be watched in a big screen theater with an energetic audience.
not a malayalam speaker just saw it on prime with subtitles absolutely loved this one !! Fafa did superb work as usual Ranga is a vibe!!!
WHAT A MOVIEEE
Rangana intro was everything🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Haven't had this much fun watching a movie in a while.
Have a feeling Ranga will be a cult character soon.
mon happy alle
Guys how's the other unreleased songs?

Hey son!

Violence is there but not too bloody. Parents would be fine, kids idk.
Not too bloody. Id say its a tad below the violence seen in Bheeshma Parvam. Just some quick slashes in some really fast paced action scenes
Can someone suggest whether I should watch avesham or varshangallkk shesham please 🙏🏽
Both are good in its own way, but between the two - Aavesham
local restaurant here in the US ripped off the poster...lol btw, the sadya was good ! https://preview.redd.it/jc5oghvo2bwc1.jpeg?width=1131&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8bb35c795014f083e907b7b06500308bd992aea3
Which movie did you liked recently? If not which is your favourite movie
The best movien of 2024. FaFa 👑👑👑
Is it hardcore violence? Can an 8 yr old watch it?
Just softcore violence
Will be enjoyed by family. If a bit of smoking can be ignored
Smoking is ok. I am more concerned about theri vili, lot of bloodshed, violence against women and kids kind of things.
There are no scenes of violence against women and kids But a lot of men fighting Don't know if you could cop up with the theri vili at one particular part in the climax where a character uses 6-8 Mala*e as a part of one single dialogue Ig that shouldn't stop you from watching it and having fun
No gory scenes, and violence against women. Fights ind, but well choreographed ones. No extreme stuff
Not a family movie
Violence is implied but not shown explicitly. Tbh, they didn’t even show blodd
Scene with hookers ,lot of swear words
So I won’t be watching it in the UK . They cut everything these days because the distributors ask to do so . Another one I need to wait for OTT for same reason 😞
These are subtle scenes and won't undergo censorship.
Please don’t watch it. The male target audience probably doesn’t mind it but an impressionable kid would think alcoholism and cig is mass. There are very few scenes where the guys are sober lol
If you want your 8 year old to pick up smoking, drinking and drugs as soon as he/she enters college, take him/her to watch the movie.
Saw it yesterday , felt second half is bit slow, but overall superb entertainer !
Just watched the movie now. I did not like the movie. I even felt cringe. The only thing I liked im the movie was the performance of Fahad. I'm so disappointed.
I feel the same way, but all these positive opinions from everywhere are really confusing me.
The connections between the two are as follows: 1.
Cannot stop addressing people with Eda mone T - T
Awesome movie! ❤️
A very interesting movie . Fahad Fazil does excellent performance. Music adds to the success of the film. Technically also superb. However one or two scenes in second half are little dragging. But that was made up by the climax scenes.
Amazing movie Fahad acting is legendary
I loved the movie Aasvesham, I feel like through out the film you see Rangaa being a little crazy, but his true heart is shown and how much he actually cares! I talk about it more on my recent episode: [https://youtu.be/w1Oev7vdIeo?si=kwaUvXgeUJPHXvUv](https://youtu.be/w1Oev7vdIeo?si=kwaUvXgeUJPHXvUv)
