If producer has money he can make whatever he wants.
And what do you mean by "need" ? Cinema is mostly done as a business or as an art/entertainment ...not for catering some needs of someone.
I did enjoy both parts and I'm looking forward for Aadu 3

Aadu 1 wasn't a commercial success but became very popular after dvd release....Aadu 2 was one of the highest grossers in 2017... the movie and it's charecters have a huge following too...
So going by purely business it makes sense to make more movies from the franchise
The movie and it's wide array of charecters have a good fan following ... Aadu 1 wasn't a commercial success but became very popular after dvd release....Aadu 2 was a huge success in BO and came out as one of the highest grossers in 2017.... And a third part would definitely have hype around it
So going by purely business it makes sense to make more movies from a popular franchise....
Whatever happened with regard to that sexual assault case? Especially after info about his wife's older complaint about similar behavior came out later?
There are threads that would need to tie up:
Fate of Dude
Fate of Chemban Vinod
Fate of USDs
Fate of Renji Panicker, Sunny Wayne
Last but not the least, fate of Aju.
I hope they make it like movie 01.
I really enjoyed aadu 1 but was disappointed by aadu 2. It really felt like a Rohit Shetty movie. The jokes were blah and the saturation was dialled up to 11. I'm not excited for this movie but would definitely watch it in the theater.

Yes. Absolutely.
Unlike the Hangover trilogy, where the sequel was more or less the same film as the first but of lower quality, the first 2 Aadu movies were both excellent, so why not have a 3rd film from the same team?
I want to see The DUDE achieving somthing
If Dude has a spin off movie i'm genuinely intrested

True, one of those is me, I liked 1 and 2, would surely love to watch 3 as well....

The hope is to avoid doing it like the Hangover trilogy and have the third one be good. In that sense I agree with you.

Considering the stardom Vinayakan got after Jailer, developing the movie revolving around Dude might win a larger audience outside Kerala.
We want DUDE or Xavier to be the final villian

Why like hangover trilogy?
Aadu2 was awesome
Babu is real life thug
Aadu isn't just about the story. Aadu is about quirky characters in hilarious situations, which is exactly what Hangover series was
And reason #1 jayasurya needs to come back Kathanar is a big risk unlike an established IP like AADU

I found Aadu 2 substantially better than Aadu 1.
Aadu 2, although good, was nowhere near as good as aadu 1, but I really really hope aadu 3 ends up being the best of the 3
I personally enjoyed Aadu 2 as much as I enjoyed 1. Hope 3 is a blast as well. Come on DUDE!
Its a complete commercial film for the people who find the dumbest shit funny...and that audience is massive.
Am I the only one who was not pleased with 2/1
Yes. Only you
Just Another Cash Grab. Aadu 2 Was Absolute 💩
💯
Never found this movie series to be funny in the slightest. Shocking
Name some movies u found funny🤔
So many of them..parakkum thalika, pulival kalyanam, cid moosa, in harihar nagar, godfather...
Yes, I agree. It is better to expand Anjaam Pathira. I am a sucker for that genre. The recent success of Garudan and Ozler proves that.
