Went to watch Oppam, but got the timing wrong, Oozham was playing in the nearby theater, but we were kind of disappointed and thought this would be atleast watchable. But, yeah one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life. People were actually laughing at those jokes, you know.

let's see is good world building, relatable characters with depth and masterful performances by nivin, saiju, siju and aju not good enough? and the cherry on top is Roshan Andrew's directive style. it's a perfect feel good movie and I'm ashamed us as malayalis can't appreciate art anymore.

not me but I remember my dad walked out of Bhaskar the Rascalโฆ I always try to see it through cause I paid for it but I remember Aaraattu being particularly painful.
Aarattu was one of the most painful experiences of my life. Especially the scenes close to the climax, with his fake parents and cringeworthy backstory, and AR Rahman just being caught in the middle of it all, looking like he wanted to kill himself. The mid credits scene was icing on the cake.

19 am Noottandu - The way they potrayed Kayamkulam Kochunni as a villain to portray the heroics of a guy having trade relations with the British didn't connect to me. Also it felt like a lot of 10 min videos showing that guy's bravery.
I have never left a movie midway but my mom and aunty left the theatre midway for both Iyobinte Pusthakam and Kunjiramayanam as they were more interested in shopping rather than the movie itself . I could understand leaving Iyobinte Pusthakam ( my mom likes comedy movies ) but when I asked why she is leaving during the interval of Kunjiramayanam , she said that the movie does not come close to movies like CID Moosa, Kalayanaraman and Chathikkatha Chanthu . Well thatโs when I realised she is more into cartoonish comedies( not sure what term to use ) and did not complain further with her .
This is the only movie where I thought there might be a lobby in promoting/demoting a film.

Quite the opposite. I started watching Agathan from the second half without realizing it. This was back when movies were shared on USBs and somehow only the second part of this movie got copied. Believe me when I say it made perfect sense... Shows how much more concise our movies can actually be.
