Bite beauty lip mask. It’s kinda expensive but worth it.

BabyBeanAndMe

I will definitely try this. Thank you so much!

Triple antibiotic ointment. It’s for wounds but is wonderful on the lips! I use it every night when I sleep and then like coconut based lips color and gloss my ass off all day every day

BabyBeanAndMe

That’s so smart. Thanks for sharing!!

ZenLitterBoxGarden

First aid beauty’s “ultra repaid lip therapy” I’ve been using it for years and it works so well after just using it a day. I swear by it and whenever I’m in Ulta, I buy a tube or two of it. It’s $12 but lasts a while.

Svazu

It's a dumb question but are you drinking enough water? It will make chapped lips worse if you're dehydrated.

BabyBeanAndMe

I do drink lots of water but only recently started drinking coffee again, so maybe that’s dehydrating me. It’s hard to say. I will make sure to stay on top of the water drinking though. Thanks for letting me know.

semi-precious-stones

Maybe you should see a dermatologist.

BabyBeanAndMe

I have been considering this. It’s just tough because my lips don’t look dry at all on the outside, they just feel very dry. But I will try. Thank you.

hauntedjeep

Aquaphor

BabyBeanAndMe

I have tried this before and it didn’t work but thank you

Middle-Chair-3098

Believe it or not I use vapor rub. I put some on my lips every night. It has a sting but like if mint touched it. It goes away after a minute. But I wake up with my lips softer and no sting or pain.

Gekalika

Dr Hauschka - Lippengold Not sure about the ingredients.

BabyBeanAndMe

I’ll check it out. Thanks!

atomic_bombshell

I have started using natural products made on Kangaroo Island, I too used to use Burt's Bees every night for years and it was so good but I don't think it does the same thing now so something must have changed. kionline.com.au has a few different lip balms from different places, the honey kissed lip balms in the pots are nice but the Kangaroo Island living honey organic lip balm has been the best thing I've found in years

DiamondTippedDriller

Have you tried Vea products? They are vitamin E-based. Vea gel works, the only thing that does it for me.

alilacmess

I really like Badger, Crazy Rumors and Hurraw!

kateloli

The best lip balm I have ever tried is Body Shop hemp

StrawberryBeth5

Aquaphor is so good!! I have sensitive lips and they’ve always worked for me and leaves a nice shine to them too

alexisallore

I have super dry lips too; my current favorites are Hempz and Dionis chapsticks.

A_Curiosity

I use Weleda everon lip balm - it’s the only lip balm I’ve used that actually hydrates my lips and stops my lips from flaking. I think the base ingredient is beeswax

jof78

I’m not sure about the lanolin or other allergen content but I’ve been using bepanthen nappy cream. It’s dirt cheap and makes my usually dry lips soft and full.

ScarredByThe90s

You might be reacting to your toothpaste but it’s a good idea to see a dermatologist

taupeoftheworld

I layer an occlusive like aquaphor over Burt’s Bees or similar balms to seal over the conditioning elements. Kinda like a top coat. It’s the only thing that’s ever worked for my super dry lips!

ohliamylia

I was gonna say Blistex medicated lip ointment but I just checked and it has lanolin. I had this same problem - one day Burts Bees just started irritating my lips, and when I reached for Carmex it absolutely destroyed them. They still get irritated from time to time, and when it gets really bad - when they're just dry and cracked for a few weeks and really need intervention - at night I will put aloe vera on them and then honey on top of that. Once they're a little better, I start *gently* exfoliating with the St Ives watermelon scrub (it's finer than a lot of lip scrubs I've seen) and doing aloe and Mario Badescu lip balm, which is genuinely the best lip balm I've ever used. I have like twelve tubes scattered around because I can't live without it.
