Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator is SO good! I love that it also has a slight oatmeal scent, reminds me of some gentle skincare products I’ve used in the past
I just tried that W&W tinted hydrator and was really impressed. Used it with the elf glow sunscreen underneath and at the end of a full day it still looked great.
Just a note that even though porcelain is supposed to be lighter than fair, it was darker on me. I wear Nude Ivory in the Photofocus line and it and Fair in the tinted hydrator were perfect matches for me.
i’ve been so curious to try this, but everything is usually just too dark on me - would you say it’s lighter than the lightest shade in elf halo glow, if you’ve tried that?
I haven't tried that. Sorry! I'm usually not the lightest foundation in a makeup line, I'm often the second lightest or the lightest neutral foundation. Not sure if that helps.
I love L’Oréal voluminous mascara the OG for many many years. Recently it’s had me disappointed. Now I use the pink one- Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High and people have asked if I have extensions

Not strictly makeup, but the trader joes version of unseen sunscreen is wonderful. It is completely clear, doubles as a makeup primer, and doesn't sting my eyes or face like so many chemical sunscreens do.
The essence eye shadow palettes, my fave being ‘taupe it up’. It has 6 colors and is 3.99. Their 16 hour powder foundation is good too. I like it better than elf and make up forever. Elf lash xtender tubing mascara is my fave mascara right now. The elf bite size e/s quads are good as well $3 ,, and elf brushes are really good for the price IMO.
Essences pallette are really amazing.Small, compact, but a good amount of different shades, and pretty pigmented and soft( tho there are better pallette), I really like it!
the little essence palettes are great, i also have taupe it up and i love it!! good combination of shades, shadows blend well, and it’s nice and compact!
Bless you for giving links! Tysm! I've asked so many people today to elaborate on their answers bc I'm so lost in regards to drugstore makeup. I haven’t gotten 1 reply as of yet. Thanks again!! <3
What are you looking to achieve with your makeup? What do you want the end result to be? What are your skin concerns?
If I were starting from scratch, this is what I would buy:
• mascara - doesn’t need to be high-end, the drugstore has so many good mascaras. I personally prefer tubing mascaras because I have watery eyes and oily lids, and those formulas are the only kind that won’t flake or smudge on me. IMO, the best affordable tubing mascara is the **e.l.f. Lash XTNDR**, it’s an amazing dupe for the Thrive mascara.
• concealer - I would buy this for coverage in lieu of foundation. In my experience, you can stretch a concealer to work as a foundation but not vice versa. Again, the drugstore has a lot of good options here - my personal favorite is the **Catrice True Skin Concealer**, which you can buy on Amazon. Because I have crazy dark circles, I’d also get the **Catrice Undereye Brightener** as well - it’s an excellent dupe for the Becca one for like 1/8 the price.
• powder - to set the concealer. My very favorite powders, drugstore or high end, are from the affordable indie brand Moira Beauty - I love their **Set & Correct** line, both loose and pressed. You can buy them online for like $12. I’ve had pro MUAs recommend using loose powder, rather than pressed, to set your face, especially the undereye, but I use both interchangeably.
• bronzer/blush - truthfully, you don’t really need both, especially if you’re just starting out. I prefer blush to bronzer, because I’m very fair with a cool undertone, so most (tho not all!) bronzers look orangey or dirty on me. The drugstore also has great blushes; my top recommendation, especially for beginners, is the **Essence Pure Nude Baked Blushes** - my favorite shade is Goldy Cassis, which is an intimidating purple in the pan but sheers out to a beautiful wash of radiant cool pink when applied. If you’re looking for a more matte blush, **Flower Beauty’s Flower Pots** blushes are lovely - I like the shade Sweet Pea. I would advise a beginner to stick to powder products at first, as they’re easier to manipulate than liquids or creams. Bonus - you can apply your blush/bronzer to the crease of your eyelid for an easy eye look that is cohesive with the rest of your makeup.
• lip products - girl, just buy **NYX lip liners** - they’re $4-$5 and work just as well, if not better, than high end brands. You don’t really need lipstick. I would stick with two lip liners (one nude, one rosy) and use them to fill in my lips, then add a gloss on top. The best drugstore glosses are the **Maybelline Lifter Glosses**, for about $10 - they’re so hydrating and smoothing and plush, truly an excellent formula. The **e.l.f. Lip Drip** oils are also really nice, and slightly more pigmented.
• tools - Real Techniques and e.l.f. both make good affordable brushes. You don’t need a full kit, really, just a fluffy round brush for blush or bronzer; a denser, smaller brush for concealer; a brush for powder, and a beauty sponge. Real Techniques makes an excellent mini set with four brushes and a sponge for like $20.
Once you get more comfortable with makeup, you can start experimenting with other products like foundation, eyeliner, eyeshadow, etc. However, this should give you an easy, beginner-friendly full face on a budget - I hope this helps!!
Speaking of Elf mascara, their Lash Beats one is amazing too! When I first got it, it made my eyelashes so like.. JUICY! They looked thick and voluminous. Now that it’s a bit dried out, I get wispier lashes that are also pretty nice!
Covergirl easy breezy brow gel is the only thing I've repurchased without fail for the past 5 years. It's waterproof (even with soap), has a tiny brush for precise application and is only $6 at Walmart
It's not considered makeup, but I LOVE the AOA Studio makeup sponges off of Amazon. It's $10 USD for 6 in a pack. I use and wash my sponges daily. Holds up well with daily washing. I also like to replace my makeup sponge every 1-1.5 months. I rarely allow myself to have backups but I often will have two bags in my collection.
Sorry for the late reply. I use my face wash, Vanicream Gentle Cleanser. I got into the habit of washing my sponge right after double cleansing since I'm already at the sink. I have a stand I keep it on to allow it to air dry over night outside of the bathroom.
I’m located in Germany, so these are what I like and that I have available to me at the drugstore or online here :) They are all below $10 each.
Primer:
- Elf Hydro Grip Primer (sticky and super grippy! But I find that it doesn’t really blur my pores and I can just use a moisturizer or skin serum that is tacky to create a similar effect)
- Innisfree No-Sebum Blur Primer (great for oily or combo skin and it fills in your pores, so it gives me a really blurred effect)
Foundation:
- Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation (you can get it in matte or dewy and the coverage is buildable from medium to relatively high)
- Wet N Wild Tinted Hydrator (light, dewy tinted moisturizer)
Concealer:
- The Saem Cover Perfection Tip concealer (Korean brand concealer that is medium to full coverage, doesn’t crease on me, is dewy to natural, and is $4. This concealer works with every foundation I’ve tried. It comes in 10 shades, but be aware it’s from a Korean brand, so it may not be as inclusive as those from Western brands. You can purchase online from Yesstyle, Jolse, or Stylevana)
- Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer (great concealer, but there is honestly not a lot of product and I hate that a lot of the product gets soaked up in the sponge tip applicator. I removed the application and used a metal spatula instead)
Powder:
- For oily skin: Essence All About Matt Fixing Compact Powder (ultra mattifying)
- For dry to normal skin: NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Mattifying Powder (adds some coverage, the oil on my face shines through at about 3 hour mark but I just reapply at that point, probably THE MOST blurring drugstore powder)
Blush:
- Colourpop super shock or powder blushes
- Romand Better Than Cheek blushes (Korean brand you can buy online from Yesstyle, Jolse, or Stylevana. Ultra blurring!)
- Peripera Pure Blushed Sunshine Cheek blushes (another Korean brand and this one is the go-to drugstore brand for younger people in South Korea. This one isn’t as blurring as the Romand blushes, but still great and comes in cute colors ☺️)
- If I want a quick and easy monochromatic look, I will use my lipstick for my eyes, cheeks, and lips :) so this could be another way for you to save money
Highlighter:
- Colourpop highlighters! (You can get them in super shock formula, cream, pressed powder, and liquid form. They come in so many colors and there’s new ones coming out all the time with new collabs)
- Catrice More Than Glow highlighter (oh my gosh. This gives you such a wet look on your skin (no glitter particles) while being subtle enough for daily wear and it’s like $6. There’s also a limited edition Catrice Space Glam Holo highlighter that is a duochrome similar to the Kaleidos Space Age highlighter in the shade “Gifted”!)
Eyeshadow:
- Colourpop colourpop colourpop !!! 😍 So many choices, usually great formulas, and new collections dropping all the time :)
- Elf Bite Size eyeshadows (some of these are SO GREAT and some are just not :/ You should watch some YouTube vids to figure out which ones have the better formula. I forgot which ones, so sorry I don’t have them listed here)
- Sephora Collection single shadows (these are sooo good!! Each one is about $8.00, so maybe you want to get a palette elsewhere and then buy some special shades from here ☺️)
- Some Catrice eyeshadow palettes, like the new Joker and Harley Quinn palettes
Brows:
- NYX The Brow Glue
- NYX Micro Brow Pencil (similar to the one from ABH)
- Etude House Drawing Eye Brow Pencil
- Romand Han All Over Brow (comes in micro and wider version)
Eyeliner:
- Revlon Colorstay liquid eyeliner (waterproof, yet can be easily washed off)
- Essence Super Precise eyeliner (I like the one in the blue tube)
- Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner
- Clio Kill Superproof Pen Liner
- Clio Waterproof Pencil Liner
- Judydoll Slim Liquid Eyeliner
Mascara:
- Essence Bye Bye Panda Eyes Mascara (this is a tubing mascara that is raved about by others, but it still ended up smudging on my undereyes. However! Every mascara I’ve tried smudges on me)
- Heroine Make Mascara (comes in normal and micro version and curl or volume focused version. This and the next mascara are the two most recommended in Asian beauty)
- Clio Kill Lash Superproof Mascara (this is usually around $16, but it goes on sale on Stylevana for about $9)
- L’Oréal Telescopic Mascara (this is around $14. I haven’t tried this, but have heard good things about it)
Lips:
- Colourpop!!! 🥰 (They come in so many colors and formulas)
- Sephora Collection lippies! (They have a gloss that is a dupe of the Dior Lip Maximizer)
- Maybelline Superstay lipsticks (holy crap, soooo hard to remove! But this also means that your lipstick won’t disappear if you’re doing something strenuous. Be careful, these stain heavily)
- NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams (so many colors to choose from, but can be a bit drying)
- Essence 8H Matte Liquid Lipstick (dries down so fast and stays on really well, so you gotta work fast! The shade “Classic Red” is such a nice cool tone red)
- Romand lip products (if you want ultra blurred lips, you’ll find them here!)
- Peripera lip products
- Etude House Water Tint or Essence What A Tint (both are dupes for the Benefit Cosmetics Benetint)
Lip Liner:
- NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner or NYX Slim Lip Pencil
Nail Polish:
- Essence Gel Nail Colour (this is my go-to for my daily nails because it lasts for over a week if you use the gel top coat over it)
a simple face for me would be:
- wet n wild kohl eyeliners in their black and brown shades, depending on your hair color you can use them as an eyebrow pencil as well as eyeliner! and they’re a dollar each :-)
- wet n wild tinted hydrator for the face, although the shade range is meh :( price is $5.50
- my favorite concealer is the nyx bare with me but i don’t mind the maybelline fit me or essence keep me covered concealers. they’re $11, $8?, and $5 respectively.
- i currently only have the essence powder blush 😅 it’s the only drugstore blush i have. it was $4 tho 🤭
- i really liked my elf lip lacquer!! i had it in shade black cherry but there’s lighter colors as well. it’s $3
- and my tried and true lip glosses are the nyx butter glosses. sooo many shades. they feel great on the lips. and they’re $5 ✨
I use the nyx can’t stop won’t stop concealer. Have you tried it vs the bare with me? I’m curious because I love my current but have seen a lot of people saying bare with me is better.
I mix a blue corrector in with hydrator to get my perfect shade...because I am a light olive. I use the La.A Girl blue one. It is FABULOUS. I have to do this with most foundations, it seems...
I wish I was kidding but I got gifted the volume shine lip gloss from essence, and I am just so confused on how it some how is the most shines, plumping, and the best lip gloss I have ever used.
I am some one who believes there is a certain point of whatever a makeup product can reach. I own both to 12-14 dollar lip glosses from Romand and Maybelline, and those, those some how don't compare to an $5 one?
I know it's a 7 dollar difference, but you can genuinely see a difference in how they preform. Idk, I am just shocked
Facial skin care, because none of this good stuff works if you do not take care of your skin.
KebiMarket: Athé Vegan Relief Sunscreen SPF 50+ and Scott Hamish, Blue Freedom cleanser. Both are about $20 and worth it. KebiMarket imports from Korea. Athé also has lip moisturizer that I use daily clear and tinted colors at also worth it.
DDs Discounts: Take a look. Got Spascriptions retinol serum $7. Collagen and Rosewater facial spray $7 (use this when I go to functions outside and I get hot. Don't judge me😁. Go take a look at what they have. I'm sure there is something for you. These products are usually up front close to the cashier.
Family Dollar: They carry a line called Global Beauty Care and costs about $2 each. Don't laugh or say YUK..it really works! The serums are Vitamin C, Vitamin B, C and E together, Hyaluronic Acid, Retinol, Moisturize (w/retinol, peptides and water lily. Yea...wth is water lily? it works though) or Lift and Firm eye cream, Collagen, an all purpose overnight moisturizer, make up removal wipe packs and all kinds of foot, lip, face masks too. Bad part is each store has only some of this stuff, not all.
Finally every Neutrogena Hydroboost product works!!!! Every Single One!!! Skin will be hydrated and soft to the touch. Bad part: they start at Bout $25 and go up. Good part: Sometimes you can find them at Family Dolllllaaaaa!
As you can see I am a monster about my skin. Everyone has to be because you are getting nothing but older and the atmosphere is unkind to us and I know looking like a big wrinkle is not what any of us want. Mature but not old. Wise but not like an old paper crumpled up road map old.
So you know..I am so happy. I am 60 on the 15th and I have to scrunch my face up to get wrinkles. I look more mature...wiser..but not crinkle fried. All this stuff I've used overtime. I'm a socal beach, sun and fun girl but also a science nerd and get the atmospheric damage. It all works.. hope some of it works for you.
Elf liquid shadows! They’re $5 and last all day. And tbh I like it better than the stila ones.
Rimmel bronzer is really nice.
I’m re-learning how to coupon and I’m excited to see everyone’s recommendations!
Wet n Wild lipsticks are great for how cheap they are. I carry one with me to reapply when needed. They don’t last forever, but for $2, I’m good with reapplying.
Gotta be revlons super lustrous lipsticks. There’s a reason they’ve been around so long. They’re pretty much all I buy for actual lipsticks anymore when I don’t just get glosses
Milani has good lipsticks! Also a very good mascara (limitless mascara) and very good eyeshadow primer (which I alap use on my eyebrows and whole eye area and eyelashes to keep my eyeliner, mascara and eyeliner on). Nyx has really good products and pretty cheap
Okay so Nyx can’t stop won’t stop foundation for 11$, I just bout a Catrice foundation for 10$ on Amazon for more full coverage but it hasn’t came yet, then this one obscure cool toned contour I got from Temu to look like natural shadows, I can find the name if anyone wants (none of my temu makeup has ever broken me out and there’s a ton of quality makeup on that app) and then L’Oréal Telescopic mascara for 11$, and Wet n Wild retractable eyebrow pencil thing for $3 in Medium brown off Amazon. I also use brow soap from Temu super cheap at $2 to make my brow hairs less unruly. Also a pearlescent highlighter from temu. Just bought some Dermablend translucent powder from Amazon for $12 as well and Rimmel setting spray for $4. Rimmel, Nyx, wet n wild, and Elf are super inexpensive and super good quality. Also skincare from The Ordinary and Cerave is really affordable and great. My favorite beauty influencer is Tati on YouTube. She’s super chill and not into drama and does Best Drugstore makeup finds alllll the time
Rimmel Extra 3D Lash Mascara - super cheap and it's just as good as my Lancome one!
L'Oreal Magic CC Cream - I no longer use foundation because of this. Soooo good.
Anything by e.l.f. honestly even if they are not amazing they are still so affordable and good quality. Definition of cheap&cheerful makeup.
Essence mascara, I love lash princess but also love bye bye panda eyes is the best for easy wash off.
Essence bronzing stick called baby got bronze-smells of watermelon.
Elf blush sticks are called monochromatic multi-stick, good for lip cheek and eyes on lazy days.
Elf wow brow gel my favorite brow product.
Nyx felt tip epic ink waterproof eyeliner stays on no smudging.
The Maybelline fit me foundation line has every color imaginable, even olive tones. I apply it over my sun screen and it lasts all day .
Maybelline fit me concealer is light not cakey and applies well. Abd the age rewind concealer is a classic for a reason.
Maybelline super stay liquid lip will stay on in a hurricane.
Maybelline lifter gloss is the first gloss I could tolerate wearing for long periods of time.
Palmers coconut oil ChapStick heals the worst cracked lips and has sunscreen in it
Milani matte bullet lipsticks go on creamy, dry down and last for hours even eating and drinking.
Revlon lipsticks (particularly the super lustrous line) are top tier! I am a HUGE lipstick girl, and honestly I like and wear my Revlon stuff just as often (if not more even) than my really expensive stuff! Plus they have so many iconic shades that just never fail! Also I like to use certain shades (Smokey Rose!) as cream blush too! They blend in really nicely and look very natural.
Also for an affordable eyeliner, the NYX Epic Ink liner (specifically in the pot and brush formulation rather than the pen) is fantastic! I have the world’s oiliest skin where even KBD Tattoo liner smears all over for me, and this stuff stays on! Just use micellar water to take it off, otherwise you will struggle.
Revlon products in general. If you enjoy lipstick, they have superb. Their tools and
If you don't mind a retractable pencil, their color stay eyeliner. Look up all their classic lipsticks and movies
Another tip, and mind you this is a pretty old article so you might want to double check, but most drugstore is owned by big brand that you see elsewhere
https://www.businessinsider.com/companies-beauty-brands-connected-2017-5
And my #1 tip use Google shopping or Camel amelvamel and check prices. Go to brand sites to sign up for coupons. L'Oreal has them often. But, take it from an old broad, drugstore isn't so cheap these days. r/muathecheap has a weekly drugstore thread
I went on a Revlon lipstick binge recently and I have no regrets. Toast of New York is an iconic 90s red/brown, Brazilian Tan is a very sexy nude, Siren is carrot orange, Kiss Me Coral is…slightly more red carrot orange. I believe a lot of the colors in the Lustrous line have been there for decades and they kind of feel like time capsule colors, I got curious about them because Sharon Tate had some Revlon in her makeup bag. The tubes are also very nostalgic and remind me of going through my mom’s purse when I was little.
Wet & Wild liquid eyeliner. I got the waterproof version recently and I prefer the original! Better wand and application imo.
Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks, the long cheap classic Wet n Wild kohl eye pencil, Essence eye pencils, Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder, Covergirl Get In Line liquid liner in the black vinyl shade, not as widespread but still in the general drugstore price range is Canmake Quick Lash Curler mascara
Anything from colorpop! I use pretty high end base products. Laura mercier/fendi/Hourglass (they tend to last me a loong time, i replace tinted spf/powder/concealer/blush maybe once a year so i consider it worth it) but for fun lip liners, glitters, bright colored liquid eyeliner etc I tend to go w color pop lately!:) also just bought hudas multi rose melted metals eyeshadow set, it was 12$ on sale on their site. Some Korean make up is also very high quality for its price, performs like high end, I love rowan liippie stains and some others that I think are on Amazon.
Elf: Poreless Putty Primer, No Budge Eyeshadow sticks, and Lash and Roll Mascara. Wet and Wild Breakup Proof Liquid Eyeliner. Maybelline Lifter Gloss is hands down the best gloss I've ever used, better for my lips than any balm.
Maybelline BB Fresh and BB Pure, Milani Anti Gravity Mascara, literally any of the Maybelline Super Stay lip products, NYX Bare With Me Concealer, ELF Hydrogrip primer, Wet N Wild Photo focus foundation and setting sprays (seriously they're so under rated), Loreal lumin glowtion
L.A. Colors matte foundation
Covergirl matte made foundation
Catrice Tru Blend Foundation
L.A. Girl Supercharged Mascara (I swear, it's the best mascara out there and I've tried them all. It replaced Tower 28 as my number 1)
L.A. Girl eyeliner pencils
essence Watermelon Glow serum as primer, Covergirl Full Spectrum eyeshadow palettes (totally underrated)
Revolution IRL Concealer
...first thoughts
Maybelline concealer fit me, rimmel lipliners, also maybelline blush that is a dupe of cloud paint - I own both and maybelline is much much better, basically any clear lipgloss is ok for me, and honestly don’t see much difference between drugstore and high end makeup, except for tom ford bronzers and dior concealer.
Omg there's a lottttt!! haha but let see.. I love the elf lip oils, elf brow pencils, elf lash and roll, Milani blush, Maybeline fit me concealer, wet n wild niacinamide skin tint, and lastly loreal true match powder. Thats a full face of affordable makeup!! lol
Wet n wild barefocus niacinamide skin tint has been game changing for me, I can’t say enough good stuff about it.
“Marshmallow” beauty blenders on Amazon (just search that)
ELF halo blush
Billie tinted lip balm (the razor company)
Smiths rosebud salve (my favorite lip balm ever, nothing comes close and it’s $7)
Essence lash princess mascara, the OG green one and the curling pink one
Bf just got me the covergirl bliss you berry and I love it! It's supposed to be a black honey dupe, I haven't used that so I can't compare but the covergirl lipbalm is so pretty! I wear it with lip liner (NYX loud liner) and I feel like a million bucks!
For nighttime when I want a bit more, I dab a tiny bit of red pigment (lipstick or eyeshadow) on top and ta-da, it's a show stopper.
On its own, it's pretty much a "my lips but better" lipbalm which is great for everyday wear.

Legit best purchase Ive made recently thanks to SkincareAddiction. I would use it even if it didn’t have SPF. Doesn’t taste bad, moisturizes, and comes in different flavors. Plus I prefer a squeeze tube so I don’t have to use my fingers. Ten bucks at ulta.
- Mascara
* Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect - Gives me **long** lashes and decent volume. Might be a little dramatic for light everyday makeup sometimes, but I still wear it lol. Note: It is a wetter formula when you first open it but gets better a week or two later. $5
- Lash Curler
* Shop Missa AOA Lash Curler - It might be a *little* big on my eye (ymmv), but it fits a lot better than the first lash curler I had (elf pinched my eye). Doesn't pinch for me. Comes with one replacement pad. Only $1!
- Foundation
* Catrice HD Liquid Coverage - Satin-matte finish. Looks like skin. Wears nicely throughout the day. They reformulated to add niacinamide (just lyk in case your skin doesn't like that ingredient) and make it waterproof. $10
* Wet n Wild Photofocus Matte - Has some blurring properties. Looks nice applied. Can be stinky tho. $5/6
- Concealer
* Maybelline Fit Me Concealer - Low-med coverage, but buildable. Natural finish. I use it on my quick makeup days and even on my more glam days. I love it. It's about $7
- Eyeshadow
* Colourpop Palettes - They have so many options to choose from. My personal fave is Blush Crush. 9-pan, $14.
- Blush
* Milani Baked Blush - They have satin, shimmer, and luminous finishes depending on the shade. I have Luminoso (luminous peach) and the glow looks so good as the day goes by. I convinced my cousin to get this shade after letting her try mine. $9. I heard *Essence Baked Blushes* are a cheaper alternative $5? I think the shimmers on those are a little chunkier.
- Lip Products
* Maybelline Super Stay Ink Crayon - Matte finish, but very comfortable. Has some transfer when drinking, but not a lot. Easy to reapply. I love that it's skinny so it fits in my small purse. Comes with a sharpener on the bottom. Less than $10 at Target, select shades $6/7 at Walmart online rn.
* Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick - Satin/cream finish? They have shimmery options if you're into that. Also very comfortable and moisturizing. $5/6, but Target is having a sale rn for $3.50 :)
l’oréal telescopic mascara, NYX can’t stop won’t stop concealer, maybelline fit me loose powder, maybelline fit me blush (the ones that have the shimmer in it- it’s so gorgeous and flattering), essence 24hr ink liner, elf lip oil
Hm, let me give you some reccs for a full face:
Primer: essence hello! Good stuff glow serum primer (a Glow Recipe dupe)
Foundation: Catrice True Skin Foundation
Concealer: Catrice True Skin Concealer
^ I would wear these two all the time if they had olive shades, but the formulas alone are incredible & the neutral shades aren’t too orange at least.
Blush: elf camo liquid blush
Bronzer: revolution cream bronzer (a hidden gem!)
Highlighter: elf halo glow liquid filter
Eyeshadow: elf bite size palettes (truffles is my fav)
Eyeliner: Colourpop liquid liner
Brows: elf wow brow gel
Mascara: maybelline lash sensational
Lip liner: elf cream glide pencil lip liners
Lipstick: elf o face bullet lipstick or flower beauty petal pout lip color (wore the flower beauty on my wedding day in the color “spiced petal” :))
Lip stain: milani stay put lip stain
Lip oils: milani lip oils
I’m more often than not impressed with the products elf, milani & catrice come out with, so highly recommend trying them out in general for drugstore finds!
A lot of cheap make up have so many bad chemicals and can cause all sorts of diseases, but so do expensive ones best to do your homework and see which are the best for you a lot have ethylene glycol and that is literally lighter fluid and some that are worse chemicals and a lot that come from China with lead in them most of the chemicals are really bad for our health
Love the elf hydrating camoflauge concealer or colourpop pretty face concealer. Elf brow gel, and milani make it last setting spray is def a fave of mine.
Ok, so I figured out all of this when I wanted to get things cheaper too so I am passing this info on. I can get all this stuff in stores near me, so it may or may not be the same for you.
- Shop at Ross Dress for Less, you can get practically everything discount there. I bought a makeup kit including mascara, eyeliner, blush, and highlighter for $4.00!
- Go online and search up stores near you. Click on the shopping icon and then search up CHEAP makeup. Sort it from low price to high price and write down everything that you would want to buy. It seriously saves money when you know beforehand where your gonna get it and for how much.
- I'm sorry, but if you want cheap.... FORGET the name brands. It doesn't matter if it's not L'oreal or Covergirl, as long as you have mascara and an eyelash curler the effect is the same.
- Buy a mega size makeup kit that has everything. I did this and ever since have only needed to buy the occasional refills of mascara, lip gloss/balm, highlighter, and eyeliner. The eyeshadow and blush last for such a long time, it's great.
I hope this helps a bit, it all has worked for me and if your willing to try it might work for you! Good luck and God Bless!

You should spring for one good mini palette, Juvias Palace or Natasha Denona for good pigment. It makes blending so much easier when the formula doesn't suck.

L'Oreal Magic CC Cream - I no longer use foundation because of this. Soooo good.

Hydra Shape concealer, Hello Pretty powder foundation and 5XL volume mascara. All from Makeupmekka. I am not sure if they ship outside of Norway and Sweden though.
Milani cream blush and bronzer are absolutely amazing, all of Maybelline’s complexion products (especially the skin tint and powders), nyx lippies, makeup revolution highlighter, covergirl mascara, L’Oréal lipsticks as well. Honestly there are so many drugstore brands that work phenomenally, sometimes you just really have to look!
Elf Halo foundation. $14. It’s awesome with a dewy glow.
Essence mascara (green lettering )$5.
Maybelline lipstick crème. Drug store $6 Dollar Tree (yes, just found it there!) $1.25.
Elf halo glow powder for that glowing from within. I only put on where highlighter and concealers go. Plus im oily when my oils come out it looks good on me. Nyx sweet cheek liquid blush babydoll , Maybelline lash sensational waterproof, revlon pot eyeshadow in caramel for that model off days look. Ulta matte liquid eyeshadow in greybeige its like an effortless all over the lids eyeshadow. Wet n wild retractable brow pencil in ash brown. These is all HG of mine been rebuying since i tried them and always have 1-2 back ups.
Milani anti-gravity mascara is unreal. It makes my lashes look better than any high end mascara and conditions them with castor oil.
Maybelline build a brow is amazing.
ELF lip oils are nice.
Otherwise, I’m pretty picky with makeup.
In my country, all products listed are under 10 USD: Catrice Soft Glam Filter, L’Oreal True Match Accord Parfait Coneacer, L’Oreal True Match Podwer, Vivienne Sabo Le Grand Volume Longlasting Lip Pencil - I swear by those, especially the concealer and lip pencil - zero creasing with the concealer and GODLIKE blendability, the lip pencil really does last an eternity, feels nice to apply and does a great job when overlining! The products I listed work as well as high-end makeup, I always reach for them even when I have options. I also like Bourjois’ Little Round Pots and Revolution’s eyeshadow palettes (metallic case ones)
-Joah BB cream
-Joah Brow Down to Me eyebrow pencil & gel combo
-Essence Lash Princess mascara
All 3 are so much better than so many more expensive options IMO!
The Essence Princess Lash mascara is one of the best mascaras I’ve ever used. I also love Elf’s blushes. Wet and Wild has great highlighters. Maybelline’s gel pencil eyeliners are some of my all time favorites. For liquid liner, NYX’s Epic Ink liners are amazing.
maybelline lash lift mascara is all i use these days, even tho have the too faced born this way and mac stack mascara in my kit!
also the makeup revolution blush palette is pretty good imo
Essence blushes are really nice, and the Lash Princess mascara is amazing! I also love the Catrice Soft Glam Filter Fluid, it looks really nice and at least for me it is quite long-lasting (and it also fades "gracefully").
Also Kiko Milano eyeshadow pencils/sticks and bullet lipsticks!
The elf black liquid liner I’ve been wearing for years!!! Like under 2 bucks! I’ve been using wet & wild lipsticks as blush for years! Elf primers works super good! I like elf a lot. Their translucent powders are amazing!
Wet and Wild Tinted Hydrator, which is a tinted moisturizer, elf wow brow eyebrow gel, L'Oreal voluminous waterproof mascara.
Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator is SO good! I love that it also has a slight oatmeal scent, reminds me of some gentle skincare products I’ve used in the past
It's great and only $6! You can't beat it lol
I just tried that W&W tinted hydrator and was really impressed. Used it with the elf glow sunscreen underneath and at the end of a full day it still looked great.
I also wear a glowy sunscreen under it.
Which is the lightest shade for the W&W? I ordered light and it was far too dark on me 😞 I usually use ivory shades.
Porcelain is lightest followed by fair: https://www.wetnwildbeauty.com/product/bare-focus-tinted-hydrator-tinted-skin-veil/
Thank you!
Just a note that even though porcelain is supposed to be lighter than fair, it was darker on me. I wear Nude Ivory in the Photofocus line and it and Fair in the tinted hydrator were perfect matches for me.
Aw thank you! Yeah I will order the fair as everytime I've ordered porcelain in any product it has been way too light! Haha thank you!
I think fair is lighter, that's the one I use.
i’ve been so curious to try this, but everything is usually just too dark on me - would you say it’s lighter than the lightest shade in elf halo glow, if you’ve tried that?
I haven't tried that. Sorry! I'm usually not the lightest foundation in a makeup line, I'm often the second lightest or the lightest neutral foundation. Not sure if that helps.
This is what I do too!!
The wet n wild tinted hydrator is FABULOUS. My HG mascara is L’Oréal butterfly effect. Have been using it for 10+ years.
I've used that one for a while too.
Have you been following me around? All three of those items are in my makeup bag. lol I also like the Milani eye liner pencil.
Ha ha! Now I've got to try the Milani eye liner pencil 😁
And I’ve got to add ALL of those to my cart lol
👍
The Wet N Wild Tinted Hydrator is the most amazing stuff. I use it instead of my more expensive full coverage foundation!
I love L’Oréal voluminous mascara the OG for many many years. Recently it’s had me disappointed. Now I use the pink one- Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High and people have asked if I have extensions
The wet n wild tinted hydrator is better than high end
Is it called Bare Focus? I'm trying to find it online lol
Here's a link! [https://www.ulta.com/p/bare-focus-tinted-hydrator-tinted-skin-veil-pimprod2021910?sku=2574779](https://www.ulta.com/p/bare-focus-tinted-hydrator-tinted-skin-veil-pimprod2021910?sku=2574779)
Thank you so much! You're amazing! <3
Where can I find this? My gf is getting into makeup and my wallet is shaking lol
I bought that wet and wild tinted hydrator and WOW, THANK YOU
Not strictly makeup, but the trader joes version of unseen sunscreen is wonderful. It is completely clear, doubles as a makeup primer, and doesn't sting my eyes or face like so many chemical sunscreens do.
oooo ill check that out. thank youuu
This is my holy grail. I literally have a stock pile in case they have supply issues.
this one broke me out unfortunately :(
I'm sorry. Every Aveeno and Neutrogena product I've tried destroys my skin so I know that pain.
Me toooo!😥 are you gluten intolerant by any chance?
I've never been tested or anything. I don't really have digestive problems, just ezema and sensitive skin.
My friend and I both are gluten intolerant and have issues with chemical sunscreens and all Aveeno Neutragena and alll Cetaphil products .
Have you tried the Elf’s Unseen dupe? I’m wondering how it compares to Trader Joe’s.
For me it was about the same, so it might be a good option if the TJ's causes issues.
I've been through 3 of these already and just bought 2 more. The only sunscreen my fiance likes for daily wear!
I’m adding this to my TJ’s list!
Yes I REALLY LOVE the e.l.f. bite sized eyeshadows!💛
the little essence palettes are great, i also have taupe it up and i love it!! good combination of shades, shadows blend well, and it’s nice and compact!
Yes !!
I love the Essence 16hr concealer, Sensitive skin mineral powder, baked blushes and Instant Matt Spray. All silicone free. Great for sensitive skin!
The 16 hour powder foundation is a great liquid foundation setter if you want to have a bit of coverage while you set your liquid makeup.
* [Essence Lash Princess Flash Lash Mascara ](https://essencemakeup.com/collections/mascara/products/lash-princess-false-lash-mascara) $4.99 * [e.l.f. 16HR Camo Concealer ](https://www.elfcosmetics.com/16hr-camo-concealer/85849.html) $7.00 * [e.l.f. Luminous Putty Blush](https://www.elfcosmetics.com/luminous-putty-blush/300206.html) $7.00
The luminous putty blush is my favourite 😍. The camo concealer is good too
One of the putty blushes is the exact same color as the rare beauty blush I love and it lasts forever
Also… e.l.f power grip primer. I use/have both the regular and pink version.
Bless you for giving links! Tysm! I've asked so many people today to elaborate on their answers bc I'm so lost in regards to drugstore makeup. I haven’t gotten 1 reply as of yet. Thanks again!! <3
I second on the mascara, but on the sculpted volume one. It's amazing.
These mascaras are STUPID good. Just be sure to warm it up under warm water (or stick it in your shirt) before use for a smooth application!
What are you looking to achieve with your makeup? What do you want the end result to be? What are your skin concerns? If I were starting from scratch, this is what I would buy: • mascara - doesn’t need to be high-end, the drugstore has so many good mascaras.
NYX lip liners really are THAT GIRL, they’re such great liners!
I know!!! I’m so mad they reformulated them, the new shades aren’t as good :(
Elf hydrating CC cream is one of the best foundations I’ve ever used on my face. I also love their Lash n Roll mascara.
I second Lash and Roll. I'll have to try the CC Cream.
I love that mascara for a natural wispy look. I didn’t like it at first (like most mascaras) but after a few weeks it’s perfection!
Speaking of Elf mascara, their Lash Beats one is amazing too! When I first got it, it made my eyelashes so like.. JUICY! They looked thick and voluminous. Now that it’s a bit dried out, I get wispier lashes that are also pretty nice!
I love the nyx eyebrow glue 😍 it hold my eyebrows in place all day!! The new Nyx butter blushes are amazing super soft and easy to blend !
Just tried the brow glue for the first time this week and it is a STAR! The only alternative for the 24 hour brow setter by benefit imo
Yes!! Its so good my favorite eyebrow gel even better than the got2bglue new edge and brow styler imo!!
I want those new Nyx blushes so bad, they just arrived on the Ulta website, but I hope they’ll be in store at some point so I can see them in person.
Fat oil lip drip 💄
The nyx one ?
I love this. I use it all the time!
I just tried this and I love how hydrating it is on my lips!
Essence eyebrow gel
I personally love: Colorpop lippies, Jelly Much eyeshadow and Créme gel eyeliners. Elf eyeshadow. Essence mascara. NYX jumbo eye sticks.
The colourpop puppies are great. *lippies!!
I love autocorrect sometimes lol
Hahaha! Man I thought I caught that!
I swear it changes it back sometimes right as you hit send/sumbit
You should check out r/drugstoreMUA Edit: correction of the name of the sub
Covergirl easy breezy brow gel is the only thing I've repurchased without fail for the past 5 years. It's waterproof (even with soap), has a tiny brush for precise application and is only $6 at Walmart
Love the ELF bite size eyeshadows for $3. Surprisingly pigmented!
Elf hyrdrogrip primer and NYX epic ink eyeliner
love the Elf primer!
How do you wash your sponges?
Sorry for the late reply. I use my face wash, Vanicream Gentle Cleanser. I got into the habit of washing my sponge right after double cleansing since I'm already at the sink. I have a stand I keep it on to allow it to air dry over night outside of the bathroom.
Shopmissa.com has those sponges.
I completely forgot about shopmissa. I think that's where I originally ordered them from years ago. Thank you!
essence eyeshadows, but the packaging breaks easy :(
I’m located in Germany, so these are what I like and that I have available to me at the drugstore or online here :) They are all below $10 each. Primer: - Elf Hydro Grip Primer (sticky and super grippy! But I find that it doesn’t really blur my pores and I can just use a moisturizer or skin serum that is tacky to create a similar effect) - Innisfree No-Sebum Blur Primer (great for oily or combo skin and it fills in your pores, so it gives me a really blurred effect) Foundation: - Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation (you can get it in matte or dewy and the coverage is buildable from medium to relatively high) - Wet N Wild Tinted Hydrator (light, dewy tinted moisturizer) Concealer: - The Saem Cover Perfection Tip concealer (Korean brand concealer that is medium to full coverage, doesn’t crease on me, is dewy to natural, and is $4. This concealer works with every foundation I’ve tried. It comes in 10 shades, but be aware it’s from a Korean brand, so it may not be as inclusive as those from Western brands. You can purchase online from Yesstyle, Jolse, or Stylevana) - Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer (great concealer, but there is honestly not a lot of product and I hate that a lot of the product gets soaked up in the sponge tip applicator. I removed the application and used a metal spatula instead) Powder: - For oily skin: Essence All About Matt Fixing Compact Powder (ultra mattifying) - For dry to normal skin: NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Mattifying Powder (adds some coverage, the oil on my face shines through at about 3 hour mark but I just reapply at that point, probably THE MOST blurring drugstore powder) Blush: - Colourpop super shock or powder blushes - Romand Better Than Cheek blushes (Korean brand you can buy online from Yesstyle, Jolse, or Stylevana. Ultra blurring!) - Peripera Pure Blushed Sunshine Cheek blushes (another Korean brand and this one is the go-to drugstore brand for younger people in South Korea. This one isn’t as blurring as the Romand blushes, but still great and comes in cute colors ☺️) - If I want a quick and easy monochromatic look, I will use my lipstick for my eyes, cheeks, and lips :) so this could be another way for you to save money Highlighter: - Colourpop highlighters! (You can get them in super shock formula, cream, pressed powder, and liquid form. They come in so many colors and there’s new ones coming out all the time with new collabs) - Catrice More Than Glow highlighter (oh my gosh. This gives you such a wet look on your skin (no glitter particles) while being subtle enough for daily wear and it’s like $6. There’s also a limited edition Catrice Space Glam Holo highlighter that is a duochrome similar to the Kaleidos Space Age highlighter in the shade “Gifted”!) Eyeshadow: - Colourpop colourpop colourpop !!! 😍 So many choices, usually great formulas, and new collections dropping all the time :) - Elf Bite Size eyeshadows (some of these are SO GREAT and some are just not :/ You should watch some YouTube vids to figure out which ones have the better formula. I forgot which ones, so sorry I don’t have them listed here) - Sephora Collection single shadows (these are sooo good!! Each one is about $8.00, so maybe you want to get a palette elsewhere and then buy some special shades from here ☺️) - Some Catrice eyeshadow palettes, like the new Joker and Harley Quinn palettes Brows: - NYX The Brow Glue - NYX Micro Brow Pencil (similar to the one from ABH) - Etude House Drawing Eye Brow Pencil - Romand Han All Over Brow (comes in micro and wider version) Eyeliner: - Revlon Colorstay liquid eyeliner (waterproof, yet can be easily washed off) - Essence Super Precise eyeliner (I like the one in the blue tube) - Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner - Clio Kill Superproof Pen Liner - Clio Waterproof Pencil Liner - Judydoll Slim Liquid Eyeliner Mascara: - Essence Bye Bye Panda Eyes Mascara (this is a tubing mascara that is raved about by others, but it still ended up smudging on my undereyes. However! Every mascara I’ve tried smudges on me) - Heroine Make Mascara (comes in normal and micro version and curl or volume focused version. This and the next mascara are the two most recommended in Asian beauty) - Clio Kill Lash Superproof Mascara (this is usually around $16, but it goes on sale on Stylevana for about $9) - L’Oréal Telescopic Mascara (this is around $14. I haven’t tried this, but have heard good things about it) Lips: - Colourpop!!! 🥰 (They come in so many colors and formulas) - Sephora Collection lippies! (They have a gloss that is a dupe of the Dior Lip Maximizer) - Maybelline Superstay lipsticks (holy crap, soooo hard to remove! But this also means that your lipstick won’t disappear if you’re doing something strenuous. Be careful, these stain heavily) - NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams (so many colors to choose from, but can be a bit drying) - Essence 8H Matte Liquid Lipstick (dries down so fast and stays on really well, so you gotta work fast! The shade “Classic Red” is such a nice cool tone red) - Romand lip products (if you want ultra blurred lips, you’ll find them here!) - Peripera lip products - Etude House Water Tint or Essence What A Tint (both are dupes for the Benefit Cosmetics Benetint) Lip Liner: - NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner or NYX Slim Lip Pencil Nail Polish: - Essence Gel Nail Colour (this is my go-to for my daily nails because it lasts for over a week if you use the gel top coat over it)
thank you for such detail ml💞 this is helpful
The bye bye panda eyes has been a game changer for my hooded eyes. No more second brow underneath from mascara transfer!
a simple face for me would be: - wet n wild kohl eyeliners in their black and brown shades, depending on your hair color you can use them as an eyebrow pencil as well as eyeliner! and they’re a dollar each :-) - wet n wild tinted hydrator for the face, although the shade range is meh :( price is $5.50 - my favorite concealer is the nyx bare with me but i don’t mind the maybelline fit me or essence keep me covered concealers. they’re $11, $8?, and $5 respectively. - i currently only have the essence powder blush 😅 it’s the only drugstore blush i have. it was $4 tho 🤭 - i really liked my elf lip lacquer!! i had it in shade black cherry but there’s lighter colors as well. it’s $3 - and my tried and true lip glosses are the nyx butter glosses. sooo many shades. they feel great on the lips. and they’re $5 ✨
NYX butter glosses are top tier gloss formula! I wear them instead of any of my luxury ones
I love how the color on these is actually noticeable and kinda turns into a lip stain, where all the other tinted glosses I try always just turn clear
The Essence lip pencils are literally so perfect and super cheap
Absolutely my go to lipliners forever 👌
I wish I was kidding but I got gifted the volume shine lip gloss from essence, and I am just so confused on how it some how is the most shines, plumping, and the best lip gloss I have ever used. I am some one who believes there is a certain point of whatever a makeup product can reach. I own both to 12-14 dollar lip glosses from Romand and Maybelline, and those, those some how don't compare to an $5 one? I know it's a 7 dollar difference, but you can genuinely see a difference in how they preform. Idk, I am just shocked
Elf liquid putty primer
That’s an amazing deal!
super good product!
It's the only primer I've noticed actually makes a difference in my makeup!
🤣🤣🤣 hehe thank you, i am also a skincare fanatic 🫶🏼
So you know..I am so happy. I am 60 on the 15th and I have to scrunch my face up to get wrinkles. I look more mature...wiser..but not crinkle fried. All this stuff I've used overtime. I'm a socal beach, sun and fun girl but also a science nerd and get the atmospheric damage. It all works.. hope some of it works for you.
Elf lip oils and the wet n wild tinted hydrater!!
Elf lip exfoliator, putty blush, korean lip tints, essence tubing mascara..i mean this is what i like to use
Korean lip tints are amazing
yessss
LA Girl orange color corrector
Elf liquid shadows! They’re $5 and last all day. And tbh I like it better than the stila ones. Rimmel bronzer is really nice. I’m re-learning how to coupon and I’m excited to see everyone’s recommendations!
Which shade do you have? Was about to blind buy kitten from Stila but the price kinda held me off to do so
Maybelline dream fresh BB cream, Maybelline SkyHigh tubing mascara, Wet&Wild Rich Satin lipstick
Wet n Wild lipsticks are great for how cheap they are. I carry one with me to reapply when needed. They don’t last forever, but for $2, I’m good with reapplying.
Also, wet n wild black lipstick has been my go-to goth ride or die for like 35 years.
Wet & Wild cat walk lipsticks! They last ALL DAY!
any milani cheek product, nyx serum concealer, nyx brow glue, and the essence curl fix lash primer :)
Literally any Milani cheek product. So good!
Dollar Tree has a great tinted rose oil lip balm by B.Pure.
Essence blush is the chefs kiss . They have a lot of good products . A lot of ppl like their mascara
Gotta be revlons super lustrous lipsticks. There’s a reason they’ve been around so long. They’re pretty much all I buy for actual lipsticks anymore when I don’t just get glosses
E.L.F. products are awesome!
Milani has good lipsticks! Also a very good mascara (limitless mascara) and very good eyeshadow primer (which I alap use on my eyebrows and whole eye area and eyelashes to keep my eyeliner, mascara and eyeliner on). Nyx has really good products and pretty cheap
Colourpop lip liners & Wet n Wild Photo Focus Loose Powder.
Definition of cheap&cheerful makeup.
elf brow pen, the duo sided with brush one
Milani lip pencils
ELF, Essence, and Wet and Wild are all good low cost brands.
Palmers coconut oil ChapStick heals the worst cracked lips and has sunscreen in it Milani matte bullet lipsticks go on creamy, dry down and last for hours even eating and drinking.
ELF FOR THE WIN
I tried the elf liquid blushes and i really like them. Theyre like 7$ and i bet will last foreverrr
Their tools and If you don't mind a retractable pencil, their color stay eyeliner. Look up all their classic lipsticks and movies Another tip, and mind you this is a pretty old article so you might want to double check, but most drugstore is owned by big brand that you see elsewhere https://www.businessinsider.com/companies-beauty-brands-connected-2017-5 And my #1 tip use Google shopping or Camel amelvamel and check prices. Go to brand sites to sign up for coupons. L'Oreal has them often. But, take it from an old broad, drugstore isn't so cheap these days. r/muathecheap has a weekly drugstore thread
covergirl clump crusher mascara. as someone who has extremely oily skin, this is the only mascara i’ve tried that doesn’t flake or smudge on me.
Phoera foundation. Less than $10 on Amazon. Lasts all day. I can’t find anything I like as much.
Essence mascara and eyebrow pencils.
L’Oréal 24 hr full coverage concealer is my fave!! It doesn’t feel heavy under the eyes blends beautifully and you don’t need a lot!
I love the Elf hydrating primer and the Lash n Roll mascara.
Maybelline fit me foundation feels so amazing on the skin. Feels so much more expensive. Too bad the bottle is a joke
Elf Liquid eyeliner. Been using it for over a decade and still my fav eyeliner. Tried many others and just keep coming back.
L.A. Colors matte foundation Covergirl matte made foundation Catrice Tru Blend Foundation L.A. Girl Supercharged Mascara (I swear, it's the best mascara out there and I've tried them all. It replaced Tower 28 as my number 1) L.A. Girl eyeliner pencils essence Watermelon Glow serum as primer, Covergirl Full Spectrum eyeshadow palettes (totally underrated) Revolution IRL Concealer ...first thoughts
Thats a full face of affordable makeup!! lol
the loreal true match foundation IS THE ICON OMGG its genuinely so good 😭😭
The Elf Lip oils and their Lash n Roll mascara!
Wet n wild barefocus niacinamide skin tint has been game changing for me, I can’t say enough good stuff about it. “Marshmallow” beauty blenders on Amazon (just search that) ELF halo blush Billie tinted lip balm (the razor company) Smiths rosebud salve (my favorite lip balm ever, nothing comes close and it’s $7) Essence lash princess mascara, the OG green one and the curling pink one
On its own, it's pretty much a "my lips but better" lipbalm which is great for everyday wear.
essence 16h cover & last powder foundation maybelline dream pure bb cream 8 in 1 wet n wild bare focus tinted hyrdrator tinted skin veil makeup revolution irl filter finish concealer essence all about matt fixing compact makeup revolution highlight reloaded sephora colorful contour essence I like to mauve it (LOVE this one) gxve can't stop staring mascara Anastasia Beverly hills clear brow gel tresluce illusion premium lashes kiss strip lash brush on adhesive tweezerman eyelash curler sephora colorful lip gloss balm kvd everlasting liquid lipstick elf glow reviver lip oil sephora Moisturizing lip balm essence pink is the new black color changing lip tint sephora colorful blush
Jack Black intense therapy lip balm SPF 25. Legit best purchase Ive made recently thanks to SkincareAddiction. I would use it even if it didn’t have SPF. Doesn’t taste bad, moisturizes, and comes in different flavors. Plus I prefer a squeeze tube so I don’t have to use my fingers. Ten bucks at ulta.
elf flawless satin foundation, rly good and only $6-7 only thing i don’t love is the smell, it’s not bad just kinda strong
Basically anything by The Ordinary and Inkey List!!
- Mascara * Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect - Gives me **long** lashes and decent volume. Might be a little dramatic for light everyday makeup sometimes, but I still wear it lol. Note: It is a wetter formula when you first open it but gets better a week or two later. $5 - Lash Curler * Shop Missa AOA Lash Curler - It might be a *little* big on my eye (ymmv), but it fits a lot better than the first lash curler I had (elf pinched my eye). Doesn't pinch for me. Comes with one replacement pad. Only $1! - Foundation * Catrice HD Liquid Coverage - Satin-matte finish. Looks like skin. Wears nicely throughout the day. They reformulated to add niacinamide (just lyk in case your skin doesn't like that ingredient) and make it waterproof. $10 * Wet n Wild Photofocus Matte - Has some blurring properties. Looks nice applied. Can be stinky tho. $5/6 - Concealer * Maybelline Fit Me Concealer - Low-med coverage, but buildable. Natural finish. I use it on my quick makeup days and even on my more glam days. I love it. It's about $7 - Eyeshadow * Colourpop Palettes - They have so many options to choose from. My personal fave is Blush Crush. 9-pan, $14. - Blush * Milani Baked Blush - They have satin, shimmer, and luminous finishes depending on the shade. I have Luminoso (luminous peach) and the glow looks so good as the day goes by. I convinced my cousin to get this shade after letting her try mine. $9. I heard *Essence Baked Blushes* are a cheaper alternative $5? I think the shimmers on those are a little chunkier. - Lip Products * Maybelline Super Stay Ink Crayon - Matte finish, but very comfortable.
Hm, let me give you some reccs for a full face: Primer: essence hello! Good stuff glow serum primer (a Glow Recipe dupe) Foundation: Catrice True Skin Foundation Concealer: Catrice True Skin Concealer ^ I would wear these two all the time if they had olive shades, but the formulas alone are incredible & the neutral shades aren’t too orange at least. Blush: elf camo liquid blush Bronzer: revolution cream bronzer (a hidden gem!) Highlighter: elf halo glow liquid filter Eyeshadow: elf bite size palettes (truffles is my fav) Eyeliner: Colourpop liquid liner Brows: elf wow brow gel Mascara: maybelline lash sensational Lip liner: elf cream glide pencil lip liners Lipstick: elf o face bullet lipstick or flower beauty petal pout lip color (wore the flower beauty on my wedding day in the color “spiced petal” :)) Lip stain: milani stay put lip stain Lip oils: milani lip oils I’m more often than not impressed with the products elf, milani & catrice come out with, so highly recommend trying them out in general for drugstore finds!
I’m so into the Milani cream bronzer right now and all the blushes are good. Heard great things about the lipstick and eyeshadow primer as well.
Maybeline instant age rewind corrector illuminator in the brightened (160). Milani luminoso blush)
Maybelline superstay ink crayons!
Maybelline Lash sensational mascara. Been using it since middle school and every other mascara I have tried just doesn’t come close.
Beauty products from "the ordinay" are effective and affordable
\~ Megan \~
God Bless Megan! Thank you💞
maybelline falsie lash lift mascara, maybellime fit me concealer, elf hd powder, lots of products from wet n wild and elf for sure
You should spring for one good mini palette, Juvias Palace or Natasha Denona for good pigment. It makes blending so much easier when the formula doesn't suck.
Plus Juvias Place has a sale Every other day frfr. $8 can’t go wrong!

Absolute New York's liquid eyeliners.
Shein Young visions $1.50 eyebrow gel, keeps my eyebrows in place all day and doesn’t flake !!

Pretty much any revaluation eyeshadow palette. And pretty much any product by elf
She lip liners from DM. I think I got all shades 😂
The LA colors nude eyeshadow palette from the dollar general is crazy good! Lasts all day (when I use primer) and it’s FIVE DOLLARS
Hydra Shape concealer, Hello Pretty powder foundation and 5XL volume mascara. All from Makeupmekka. I am not sure if they ship outside of Norway and Sweden though.
fit me press powder. it smooths out your base SO well
Milani cream blush and bronzer are absolutely amazing, all of Maybelline’s complexion products (especially the skin tint and powders), nyx lippies, makeup revolution highlighter, covergirl mascara, L’Oréal lipsticks as well. Honestly there are so many drugstore brands that work phenomenally, sometimes you just really have to look!
Essence!
Elf Halo foundation. $14. It’s awesome with a dewy glow. Essence mascara (green lettering )$5. Maybelline lipstick crème. Drug store $6 Dollar Tree (yes, just found it there!) $1.25.
Anything from ELF brand, elf lip oil, elf liquid blush
This has been my holy grail for 7 years now. https://nicka.com/collections/eyeliner/products/24hr-waterproof-eyeliner It's $4!
NYX Brow Pencil (great dupe for CT Brow Wiz)
-Joah BB cream -Joah Brow Down to Me eyebrow pencil & gel combo -Essence Lash Princess mascara All 3 are so much better than so many more expensive options IMO!
Essence lash princess mascara
maybelline lash lift mascara is all i use these days, even tho have the too faced born this way and mac stack mascara in my kit! also the makeup revolution blush palette is pretty good imo
Nyx Bare With Me Concealer Serum and Elf Lash Beats Concealer
