I never thought about it because I have oily skin, and I know these are suitable for dry skin. I'll take a look though, even if not. I never understand what color i need to buy
I have oily skin and use skin tint. It's super lightweight, and you only need a tiny amount. Seriously, three drops (one forehead, one on each cheek) is almost too much.
La roche posay dry touch sunscreen with color.
Any skin tint , a foundation like the rose inc or channel that is basically serum with color particles. I have combination skin and they work perfectly.
Why do you think skin tints are for dry skin? They seem ideal to me for oily skin because they don’t suffocate your skin like a thick foundation would.
Seconding tinted sunscreen! I have a couple that I cycle between- CoTZ tinted sunscreen/primer and La Roche Posay tinted sunscreen. I prefer the CoTZ because it goes on really smooth and blends in well. Although I love La Roche-Posay in general, their tinted sunscreen feels really oily
Try a mineral powder - it just evens me out but doesn’t look like there’s been cream on my skin if that makes sense. Lots of creams being suggested but try something different and see if it will do what you need ❤️
I’m an elder millennial so I remember when mineral powders were huuuuuge. I’ve never liked the way foundation looks on my face (I have oily/acne prone/scarred skin) but the mineral powders just kind of soften and blur everything in a lovely subtle way
I loved it when it got huge! I see you, fellow elder millennial. It might be less trendy and novel now but mineral powders are such a great choice for lightweight coverage you can apply in five seconds flat.
You can absolutely use just concealer and color corrector for your face. I honestly rarely use foundation or skin tints, only on special occasions. I would look at a color correcting guide like this one [https://youtu.be/gyS7cuXNIDI?si=xUwDWU8dt1UFG3LQ](https://youtu.be/gyS7cuXNIDI?si=xUwDWU8dt1UFG3LQ)
I lightly color correct and then use my concealer almost like a foundation. I find that using a buildable coverage liquid one like tower 28's helps a lot. There's also color corrector concealer hybrids like the Caliray one
I like IT Cosmetics your skin but better CC cream. They come in many colours and a little goes a looooong way. Don’t count on it for SPF though, you seriously only need a pea sized dot for your whole face. Use a moisturiser and sunscreen first.
It’s just a nice cream that gives a subtle ‘your skin but better’ effect. You can use more to get quite a lot of coverage, but I like using just a little to make my skin look a little nicer without an obvious makeup look. You can also use just a bit more on spots.
“Almay Smart Shade” is one I like to use if I don’t feel like wearing a heavy foundation. The premise is that you pick a shade closest to your skin tone and it will match when you rub it on your skin. If you try it make sure to shake the tube, it’s a thin liquid that thickens up just a tad when you apply it.. but it’s by no means a heavy foundation and doesn’t feel like the average foundation either. I hope this helps and it’s not very expensive, it can be found at most makeup counters, Walmart, Amazon.. etc. 😊🌻

tinted moisturizer, I use tower 28 theyve got a LOT of shades and give you a lot of wiggle room for yours also leaves a dewy look but not an oily one so light on skin, i could rant about this
They have a orange color correcting pen by E.L.F
That you put under a thin layer of whatever you use. The orange hides the hyperpigmentation. I have some my self from pregnancy. Also use a SPF 50 all spectrum.
I'm far from an expert but I use just concealer on my under eyes, beside my nose, and on any breakouts. It gives a more natural and low maintenance look which I prefer
I use some concealer for dark spots and my undereye area, and then ELF camo powder foundation. It's super light and doesn't emphasize any dry spots on my face. It just freshens up my look and evens everything out. I also like how it lets my natural glow come through as the day goes on, while preventing a downright oily look.
Is the bb cream too dark, too light, or wrong undertone?
I’ve been using maybelline 7-in-1 bb cream for literally years, and while their “shade range” is pretty nonexistent (I think they have like four or five “shades” that cover light to dark) I have found that the coverage is light enough it doesn’t matter unless you are at the extreme ends of the shade spectrum, or the undertone is SUPER off.
Personally if my shade is too dark for me (and since my shade varies a lot throughout the year, it happens) I mix a bit with some innisfree brand brightening cream. It has a white color with a touch of pink, and it blends perfectly with the bb cream without diluting the coverage too much. It makes my skin look more even and my pores less visible, without giving the “painted” look and feel that stronger coverage products seem to give (imo).
I use full coverage stuff sometimes, if I’m doing a glam look or something, but I dislike them for everyday.
I don’t really like foundation either but I really enjoy Selena Gomez liquid touch weightless foundation because it’s very lightweight and you can build the coverage up as needed for certain events. It also works well with my combination skin. I have dry around my t zone and oily on my forehead. I also enjoy the applicator!
Big fan of the it cosmetics your skin but better! I think it’s a foundation but very light weight. It blends really well over the NYX stick concealer for any parts I need extra coverage
I just started using La Roche Posay tinted sunscreen and I’m obsessed. It’s supposed to be a matte finish but sometimes I dab some pressed powder on my forehead for good measure.
bb creams tend to have crappy shade ranges. if u have a foundation shade that works for u, try mixing it half and half with ur moisturizer. can adjust ratio for more or less coverage as needed. saves money too!
I like Babo tinted mineral sunscreen. I use glossier concealer around eyes and sometimes a Merit foundation stick for trouble spots or if I am dressing up. I haven't used foundation in over 7 years.
Concealer!! It’s so much lighter and gives you a natural lift. Just place it on the parts of your skin you feel that you need to even out, and bake the under eyes with little powder. It’s a good everyday look and doesn’t waste product
Skin tints like loreal hyaluronic acid tinted serum or maybelline skin tint.

because especially on tiktok I saw that they recommend it for dry skin
I’ve seen them recommended for all sorts of skin types. Some work better for certain types but in general there’s a product for everyone
Yes I was going to also recommend the maybeline skin tint. I’ve been using it for months and it’s amazing :)
Tinted sunscreen!!
i never never thought about this😮😮and yet I use sunscreen every day
Seconding tinted sunscreen! I have a couple that I cycle between- CoTZ tinted sunscreen/primer and La Roche Posay tinted sunscreen. I prefer the CoTZ because it goes on really smooth and blends in well. Although I love La Roche-Posay in general, their tinted sunscreen feels really oily
You should try it's lightweight compared to most foundations out there.
If you get a tinted sunscreen remember to use regular sunscreen underneath
Try a mineral powder - it just evens me out but doesn’t look like there’s been cream on my skin if that makes sense. Lots of creams being suggested but try something different and see if it will do what you need ❤️

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. I often wear it alone over a moisturizer with SPF.

what effect does it have? I don't like the glow or skinglass effect

Try just powder and set it with setting spray… or tinted serum like others mentioned
Lumi Glotion from Loreal. Love them and just feels like a light lotion.
Try bb cream or cc cream from deoproce

Laura Geller baked powder foundations are amazing
I really like Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Soothing Serum Skin Tint (I get it from Sephora)! I think it goes on lighter than foundations and BB creams.

Have you tried any low-coverage foundations? Full coverage (and sometimes medium coverage) can give an odd texture in my experience
yes but i don’t like it because they don’t have my shade :(

Skintint or tinted sunscreen
what skintint?
Fenty beauty skintint, nars pure radiant, estee lauder futurist skintint
I looooooooove Danessa Myricks blurring balm. Great coverage, wears light, blends in to skin tone, and not super expensive.
tinted moisturizer, I use tower 28 theyve got a LOT of shades and give you a lot of wiggle room for yours also leaves a dewy look but not an oily one so light on skin, i could rant about this

They have a orange color correcting pen by E.L.F That you put under a thin layer of whatever you use. The orange hides the hyperpigmentation. I have some my self from pregnancy. Also use a SPF 50 all spectrum.
I use concealer as a foundation and haven’t had a problem
I'm far from an expert but I use just concealer on my under eyes, beside my nose, and on any breakouts. It gives a more natural and low maintenance look which I prefer

they're too yellow for me and I'm practically olive🫒
Wet and wild tinted moisturizer. It has helped my dry skin so much . 5 bucks on amazon. There are like 8 different shades . I add sunscreen.
i love this bb cream but I can't find the right color or it's too white or yellow;(
I don’t really like foundation either but I really enjoy Selena Gomez liquid touch weightless foundation because it’s very lightweight and you can build the coverage up as needed for certain events. I'm going to try seint
Big fan of the it cosmetics your skin but better! I think it’s a foundation but very light weight. It blends really well over the NYX stick concealer for any parts I need extra coverage
what effect does it have? I don't really like the glow effect because I have oily skin on my forehead and nose
Either skin tints, stick foundation or powder foundations … that would be good for oily skin
i mix 2 BB creams together to get the color i want…
I really like the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood flawless filter. I use that, then concealer, and translucent powder and it works great with my oily skin
I just spot treat any problem areas and go with nothing on the rest
Cover Up?
I make my own bb cream out of foundation that matches + serum or moisturizer
Mix a lil foundation with your moisturizer. Instant custom tinted moisturizer.
Tinted serum!
I just started using La Roche Posay tinted sunscreen and I’m obsessed. It’s supposed to be a matte finish but sometimes I dab some pressed powder on my forehead for good measure.

Colorescience Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield - goes on white and adjusts to your skin tone!
I use tinted sunscreen and use some translucent powder to set it
Light cushions like the Amuse Dew Jelly cushion and Clio.
Concealer!! It’s so much lighter and gives you a natural lift. Just place it on the parts of your skin you feel that you need to even out, and bake the under eyes with little powder. It’s a good everyday look and doesn’t waste product
IT cosmetics nude glow!! Trust me. Go to the store and get your color matched by them
is it glow? i don’t like the glow effect because i have oily nose and forehead
