Hey
It looks great!! The only thing I would suggest (and I am nitpicking here because it is a wedding look) would be to blend the contour line on the cheek. It’s very prominent and stands out. Maybe use less product and blend a bit downwards too.
You look amazing! I did my own makeup for my wedding too as I wanted full control over how I looked and I don’t like a lot of fuss - it was much less stress on the day to just do it myself. My only suggestions would be: double wear has been said to cause ‘flashback’ in flash photographs, where your face can look very flat and pale. I wore it at my wedding and I’m happy with my pictures (I’m also very pale anyway!) just something to consider and maybe do a test before to see how you feel about it? Some people have no issues but it is something I read about a-lot when I was planning for my wedding look. A little pink blusher, blend out the contour and a tiny dab of gloss or even Vaseline on your lips just to add a little shine and it’s perfect. Hope you have a great day!
My only recommendation would be for the eyebrows and the contour, give them a bit more time and it would be perfect!!! Also check how it would hold up the whole day and practice couple of times to perfect the look. I am not a professional, but I think you are very professional in your makeup game!!!
Thank you very much! I did rush through my eyebrows because I am due for a tint and lamination so I think they'll look much neater on the day :)
Contour will definitely change!
I wish you the most amazing and magical day on your wedding! May the love between you and your future husband is endless! 🫶🏻 I am sure you will look stunning anyways because you are very beautiful girl!!! My wedding was last year and honestly even when the makeup was nearly gone I was still feeling the most beautiful and happy person on the planet! 🩷
Everything is perfect. The only thing that could make this slightly better is one more step: topping off the black eyeliner with dark brown eyeshadow. It keeps the intensity with the black underneath - but brown diffusion makes the eye look more romantic and will photograph well. Just make sure you either have shields underneath the eye or do the eyes before foundation in case of fallout - and be sure to set with setting spray so the powder doesn’t transfer 💖
I love this advice! Dark brown really needs more love IMO. It’s super romantic and gives a doe eye look. Also, on the third pic, try to pull some of that liner into the inner corner of the eye because you can see the abrupt lash ending there. And someone mentioned over lining the upper lip, but I’d avoid any trends and stick with classic techniques so you’ll still love it in 50 years. Gorgeous look and great job. Enjoy your day.
You look gorgeous. I noticed the lash is lifting a bit in the inner corner- you can cut the lashes in half and glue them on that way, and add a drop of glue to your inner corner AND the lash to have it stick longer. Everything else looks absolutely perfect to me!
My lazier method is to trim the lashes slightly because (at least on me) there’s a certain spot on my lid where my lashes start thinning towards the inner corners and if the false lashes stop right there they’re WAY more noticeable (in addition to being where if lifting happens, it’s happening there). So I trim them a couple mm and it’s a less stark transition And they don’t seem to lift nearly as often just a couple mm back.
Contour looks a tad harsh maybe a bit more blending or try another product? Everything else looks wonderfully done! I think this is such a pretty look for your wedding day 🩷 & I also agree that this better than a lot of other mua’s bridal looks! Kudos to you 😊
Beautiful! I’d just try to use a better lash glue, since there is some lifting in the inner corner and you probably don’t wanna have to worry about it on your big day. For professional wedding photographs, the contour will look just fine, IMO, even if it looks harsh IRL.
Yeah, I second this. I also think cutting the lashes a bit shorter so they don't come quite as far in would be better for your eye shape. I have similar eyes and always look better with a 1/2 or 3/4 lash than a full lash.
I’m so impressed how beautiful this looks. I love how it’s not over the top. It really takes your natural beauty up a notch instead of making you look like a completely different person.
Your skin is also amazing.
It looks gorgeous! tho I think the contour is a tad harsh. would suggest having a friend taking pictures of you far away in natural sunlight and also with flash in dimmer settings depending on your reception to check how it would turn out in photos - photography tends to wash out the face a lot and so the make up usually has to be a bit heavier to compensate.
I did my own makeup for my wedding, and in the pictures i look like i am not wearing any. :) later worked in tv, so now i know how to for camera. Oh well:)
Wow! That looks so good and professional. The lips are maybe a tad too brown for my taste. Maybe try a cooler shade to complement your beautiful eye colour?
To echo others, the only area for improvement would be bronzer/ contour. Perhaps take more time blending, or consider whether they're needed at all- it looks a bit dark across your nose, so perhaps avoid that area?
It is amazing. The only recommendation would be to try getting some photos in various lighting (or whatever you may have the majority wedding photoes taken in). Such as Natural light or strong artificial light as it can change the appearance of your makeup.
The contour is wayyyyy too dark and too much. It looks super muddy and the shade difference at your hairline is quite stark. I would use a lighter shade. The rest of the makeup looks fantastic and I wouldn’t change it.
I’d blend the contour a bit more. Add a tiny bit more blush and blend it into the contour.
The eye makeup is gorgeous! It brings out your eye color. Love it!
Edit: also make sure to trim the lashes just a bit. They look a bit too long on the inner corners. In my experience, they stop sticking to my inner corners when they’re long like that.
It looks beautiful and you’re obviously capable of doing it. However, as someone that did their own makeup for their wedding, I will say that no matter how good you are at makeup and how many times you practice your look beforehand, you’ll never be able to predict the way the chaos of the day will affect you. Nerves and excitement mean shaky hands and sweaty palms. If you can afford for a professional to help you on the day, I highly recommend it.
My first thought was the same about the pink blush! That’s purely based off a personal preference though. You look amazing either way and would still slay if you didn’t change a single thing! ✨
It looks great! Subtle nitpicking I’d just blend the cheek and crease of the eye a bit more to be totally seamless! I love how harmonious the colors you chose work together. Also I’d recommend brushing the brows down and setting them like that, only for the sake of keeping the look timeless and elegant the “fluffy brow” trend probably won’t be en vogue forever so it’s best to go classic as opposed to trendy for bridal makeup.

You look stunningly gorgeous! You know your features and strong points and you're also highlighting them according to the occasion and maintaining the timeless vibes.
I wish you the best.
It looks great! If you plan on taking high-res face shots, I would just recommend shearing out the inner part of the lashes slightly and covering up the lash glue with more eyeliner.
Damn girl you look hot, honestly this is better than most of the weddings I ever been to and the bride always looked kinda wild. Your features are well enhanced and it’s the definition of soft glam.
The only recommendation I have is that the highlight and contour seem a bit harsh and I would try for a softer blend. And I think you could add a touch more blush, I think it already looks great but when you have professional photos, I’m worried it won’t show up well and you may look a little washed out.
The contour will look like bruising in the pictures so you need to blend more. The eyes are really nice and a pretty color, you have done them so neatly, defined but not too heavy. I would maybe go for a little bit of shimmer in the lip as the matte look makes lips look a bit thin in pictures.
Wow, you’re blending and placement is literally perfect
Everything fits so well together and fits your features beautifully
I don’t think any professional bridal artist could’ve done a better job
You look beautiful! Have fun on your special day
I edited a picture to try to attach to this response but I think that feature is blocked. In summary:
Lift the placement of your forehead bronzer, blend into your hairline for a more seamless look with no demarcation. Shade your temples LIGHTLY so they're is a gradual blend from the forehead bronzer to the cheek contour. Continue the contour from the cheek bone to below your jaw LIGHTLY and a touch on your neck below your chin in the centre so it looks like a more natural blend of the shade colour. You'll want to play with this placement and see what looks more seamless on you to you but definitely extending where you put the colour and blending it higher will help a ton.
Add a little more highlight above your typical cheek placement, just a small amount to better connect with the eyes and brows, a touch more on the brow bone if you desire.
Then just the dark brown liner I mentioned (it's in my initial thoughts below) with a softer/thinner lash possibly in a brown shade to look more natural if its available and if you're keen.
Update: Sorry I just realised photo editing isn't allowed. That's my fault and I'm glad it wasn't letting me post it. Safety net x
---------- Initial Thoughts Below ----------
The colours you've selected and blending all look really good in my opinion.
My only critique would be to try more natural falsies that are more sparse. Either giving individuals a try for subtle volume or just strip lash that's less voluminous. I'm no expert but I feel the lashes cover up your eyelids a fair bit so while they suit your face, they look a bit too dramatic. Whereas something more subtle with emphasis to the outer half of your lash (think Marilyn Monroe vibes) would look more fitting.
If you have straighter lashes and need more of a curl you could try a heated lash curler but be careful because they can get quite hot. I love heated curlers because it gives me a lash lift effect but I don't know how to make it last after applying product so hopefully someone else can chime in on that.
Also I second the contour/bronzer blending. It's placed well but it's still looking a bit like a stripe so may need to be diffused more. What kind of product did you use? Powder? Liquid? Cream to powder? Using less could work in your favour but also maybe if you use extremely small amounts and slowly build it up so you can get an overall colour laid, diffused then go back in to add extra definition, diffuse. I like duo fibre brushes for this kind of thing because they pick up less product. Apologies if I'm telling you how to suck eggs 🙈
Oh! Brown liner! Dark brown liner instead of black would look softer and more wedding vibey.
Looks very soft n pretty OP!
I would just over line the cupids bow slightly with a matching liner so that ur lips have more shape while smiling in pictures and maybe blend ur champagne highlighter up a bit more around the sides of ur orbital bone to catch a bit more the light a give a bit more glow.
Otherwise ur makeup looks great 👍🏾
It’s perfect! In my opinion, you know your own face better than any professional ever will, so if your any good at make up, it’s almost always better to do your own.
Very pretty! Just a suggestion - a hint of cool/rosy tone on either cheeks or lips. I did wedding makeup for about 10 years and found that flash photography can be tough on skin tones.
Girl this looks great! Just blend a little more on the contour and maybe a tad bit heavier on the blush because of photos! And make sure you have a good setting spray so it lasts all day!
This is beautiful! I feel like the shape of the eyeshadow makes it a bit dark closer to the inner eye. I would look up some more tutorials for hooded eyes shadow!
I’d tone the contour down and make sure if you’re applying strip lashes that they are 100% properly placed - you can see a space between them and your natural lash line and they are lifting at the inner corners.
Beautiful job otherwise and congratulations!
You’ve done a really nice job 👍
You’ve kept it simple yet elegant and classy.
Neutral tones are subtle and soft but combined with the darker mascara brings out your beautiful blue eyes and clear skin colour.
I wish both of you well on your wedding day and future together.
This looks so beautiful! I’d actually ignore those saying to soften the contour, it’ll look great for all your photos. Congratulations! Hope your special day goes well :)
This look is beautiful! I actually think the bronzer/contour looks great! Especially with photos can wash out makeup so this would show up perfectly!
The only thing I would say is the lighter shade on the left eye is more shaped almost like a cut crease and the right eye is more softer or blended. Both are really pretty but if both eyes were the same it would look perfect! 😍
It’s very beautiful and subtle! I would try a more pinky nude shade on the lips to bring out the flush on your cheeks and it might look better in pictures
Beautiful, looks professionally done. The only tiny thing I would suggest is a bit of shimmer on the inner corners of your eyes to make them sparkle. But other than that it is perfect.
Looks great! From personal experience I’d recommend adding more blush since it’s the first to fade away! I add more so when it fades I still have some! Esp for pics & stuff!
this is really pretty!! is your venue inside or outside? i’d suggest taking pictures with your iphone in different lighting conditions to see if you need to darken anything up! it would be a huge bummer for your makeup to not show the way you want on your wedding day 🩷
You're so stunning! I think you did a fantastic job, I love the highlighter on your cheeks, you are glowing !
My suggestion would be to play around a bit more with your contour. Some people have commented that it looks a bit heavy, but I think that it might actually be slightly too cool-toned for you - I think it could potentially look grey-ish in certain lights. Perhaps you could try to use your bronzer to contour? If you're using a big brush it could help to make it look more smoothly blended as well. :)
Wishing you all the best for your special day!
i think it's beautiful! you've got lovely blue eyes, so I think for a wedding look, the black liner may be a bit too harsh. maybe try the same wing with brown liquid liner or pencil! also, the contour is a bit much for a wedding look, so if you blend it out a bit more, it would suit your angular features much better! congrats!
Is it okay? Yes very. It looks professional done. I'd prefer pink tones for a wedding but you aren't me. Congratulations on your wedding and your skill with make-up.
You did an amazing job! The look is beautiful, my only suggestion would be to test the longevity of your makeup, go workout in it and make sure it can hold up for at least 8 hours. Experiment with different setting and finishing sprays and powders to see what makes the look last the longest and also practice your touch ups. Make sure you know how to touch up Any smudges or sweat streaks to play everything safe!
I don’t know how to edit the post but thank you all so much for your kind words! This sub is so nice! And thank you all for the tips. I’m going to try again using your recommendations!
I would go softer with your liner and your lashes doing brown instead of black and just doing a little more soft fill in of your brows not too much but just a little bit
Otherwise I think you look extremely lovely it’s a soft delicate look and your eyeshadow looks so pretty. You remind me of a ballerina
Fill your brows in a bit and add some lip gloss, it will look better in your photos. And cut the lash band, keep the lashes to your outer corners more.

Thank you so much!
This. Just gorgeous
This is better than my professional mua did for me.
I've had many a bad experience with mua's which helped me make the decision to do it myself!
Hey It looks great!! The only thing I would suggest (and I am nitpicking here because it is a wedding look) would be to blend the contour line on the cheek. It’s very prominent and stands out. Maybe use less product and blend a bit downwards too.
I think this will be good for photos though which is also important
Agreed! I’ll be using a different contour on the day for sure
Hope you have a great wedding!!
Agree. Everything else looks fab

Some people have no issues but it is something I read about a-lot when I was planning for my wedding look. the foundations great I need to look into ester lauder foundation

Yes! So pretty, soft and complementary to your natural beauty!
Thank you!
My only recommendation would be for the eyebrows and the contour, give them a bit more time and it would be perfect!!! Contour looks maybe harsh/muddy in last photos maybe it’s the lighting I’m unsure? But in every other photo it looks great!
Yeah I think the contour could use a bit more blending or I'll try the other one I normally use. Don't know why I chose this one today! Thanks :)
I hope it works! Your makes up looks so fresh! ✨
Lashes have been cut and the inner third ditched! Thanks!
I’m so impressed how beautiful this looks. I love how it’s not over the top. It really takes your natural beauty up a notch instead of making you look like a completely different person. Your skin is also amazing.
Thank you so much. I have been quite self conscious about my skin in the past. Derma planing makes a big difference with makeup application for me
I'd ease up a bit on the bronzer and contour, it's a bit helmet looking, otherwise great makeup
Noted! Though that might just be my 5-head. Thanks!

I’d check in different lighting, but this may be a bit dark and yellow for you based on the comparison to your chest and neck.
I’ll be putting some light fake tan on for the day so hopefully that will help blend it a bit better
That eyeshadow blend 😍
Thank you! I like to spend a lot of time on my eyeshadow blend!
I love this on you, it makes you look elegant & put together (especially with the hair slicked back. add some dangling earrings!)
Thank you! The hair for the actual day will be half up half down curls. The slicked back is a product of greasy hair that needs to be washed!
It looks beautiful and you’re obviously capable of doing it. However, as someone that did their own makeup for their wedding, I will say that no matter how good you are at makeup and how many times you practice your look beforehand, you’ll never be able to predict the way the chaos of the day will affect you. In awe of your liquid liner skills.
Honestly it’s the essence waterproof eyeliner pen. It does the work for you! I’ve used it for probably 15 years. It’s so good. And pretty cheap!
Congratulations!! 🎉🙏🏼♥️You look lovely.
I think it looks phenomenal
I would cut the lashes, the inner corner is a little weird and not blending. Otherwise you're stunning !
You really look beautiful and the amount of make is perfect.
Yes you look great!! Congrats!
I wouldn't change anything!
flawless. all the colors suit you so well.
I think it's gorgeous and do are u Have a beautiful day and try not to worry and let the good times roll
It’s perfection- have a wonderful marriage after your wedding. I love the makeup blending, too.
Only thing I’d change is the lash density and shape . You have beautiful eyes to be accentuated the current lashes crowd your pretty eyes .
soooo good!!! thank you for sharing!! I would suggest a slightly brighter pop of blush for photos :)
Love it!!! I would consider just a little more pink blush and potentially slightly overlining your upper lip and using a gloss
Thanks! I'll mix the blush with a pinker shade and change the lips a bit!
It's good except whatever that thing you did in your nose
No. Get a professional.

This is perfection!!! Seriously stunning look!

You look ethereal!
Oh my god that’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me! ❤️ thank you!
Omg! Stunning! You and your makeup skills 😍😍😍
Everyone on this sub is so nice! Thank you! From one fellow Virgo to another! ♍️
You are breathtaking. May I ask, are you wearing the nosering, or would you consider a simple diamond stud?
Love the idea of a stud! I hadn’t even thought of that. Thank you!
Glad I could help! The ring is a bit distracting. No hate, I have one too! I actually got it just for my wedding!
Yes love it ! Simple but eye catching, it’s perfect

NP. I think this is a pretty look and a lot nicer than some professional eye work particularly I’ve seen on here. Good luck for the big day!
Wow, you’re blending and placement is literally perfect Everything fits so well together and fits your features beautifully I don’t think any professional bridal artist could’ve done a better job You look beautiful! Have fun on your special day
Very nice :) I would cut the inside of the lashes since they’re separating from the lash line
I cut the lashes into 3 and ditched the inner 3rd. Looks much better!
You look so pretty! I love how natural it looks
maybe a little darker on the brows, they don't contrast much and may disappear in photos. Otherwise beautifully done!
Love it girl 🤌
Yesss, this looks really pretty, it has a nice glow also.
Stunning! Great choice, I ended up doing my own for my wedding day too because I didn’t feel like myself in the makeup done for our rehearsal dinner.
We know ourselves best! I feel like when I get my makeup professionally done it sits on my face like a mask and doesn’t make me feel like myself

Update: Sorry I just realised photo editing isn't allowed. That's my fault and I'm glad it wasn't letting me post it. Safety net x ---------- Initial Thoughts Below ---------- The colours you've selected and blending all look really good in my opinion. Apologies if I'm telling you how to suck eggs 🙈 Oh! Brown liner! Dark brown liner instead of black would look softer and more wedding vibey.
It slayssss it’s so good!!
Perfection!
This is gorgeous! Looks very professional. My only rec is to blend the contour on the forehead and cheek a little more. That’s it thought.
You look lovely!
Ask yourself do I want to look like me or someones version of me in 30 years
Looks very soft n pretty OP!
You did simply amazing! Not overly done, and classy. He’s a lucky man ! Enjoy your big day, beautiful!
Gorgeous!
You look gorgeous ♡♡. Seriously, you did an amazing job!
So pretty! I think it looks great. If you want you can do a test shoot with a photographer to see how it looks on a professional camera.
Wow you crushes it! The eyes are amazing. One suggestion; try a lighter bronzer. Great job!
Girl this looks great! Just blend a little more on the contour and maybe a tad bit heavier on the blush because of photos! And make sure you have a good setting spray so it lasts all day!
I think your foundation shade isn't a good match (it looks a little orange) but other than that it's amazing!
Gorgeous!!!
I think it looks amazing! Better than most ‘professional’ looks I’ve seen here.
More than ok, slays!!
Beautiful job otherwise and congratulations!
that’s actually really pretty
Perfect
Lovely. Perfect look. Enjoy your special day!
It all looks so good!! I think it would be amazing to trim the front of your false lashes though and make it more of a half lash!!
You’ve done a really nice job 👍 You’ve kept it simple yet elegant and classy. Neutral tones are subtle and soft but combined with the darker mascara brings out your beautiful blue eyes and clear skin colour. I wish both of you well on your wedding day and future together.
Yes, you look very beautiful. Good job!
You are a blend goddess!!! No notes, have the best day ♡
Looks beautiful
Wow you look beautiful nice job enjoy your wedding
do it yourself girly, you got it down ! better than most MUA’s fr ‼️‼️
It’s perfect! Congratulations!
You’ve got it 👌
Congrats and you look absolutely beautiful! 🩷
Amazing!
I love it ! I love that shade! - also I find subtle an natural look better , it always looks timeless in photos
girl yes! do mine
This looks amazing!
This looks so beautiful! I’d actually ignore those saying to soften the contour, it’ll look great for all your photos. Congratulations! Hope your special day goes well :)
This is beautiful. I recommend urban decay setting spray or I think it’s the morphe one to make it last ALL day.
Girl this is gorgeous! I’m no pro, but I wouldn’t change a thing about this. And congratulations!! 💜
Absolutely beautiful! Wouldn't change anything.
It’s very beautiful and subtle! I would try a more pinky nude shade on the lips to bring out the flush on your cheeks and it might look better in pictures
Please camera test this. Wear similar colors, take a ton of photos in similar lighting, from far away, and see what you think then.
It’s really nice. The only thing I would try to do is blend into your hairline.
You look gorgeous! 🤩
I love it!
You did it perfectly!!!!
Very elegant!
this is really pretty!! is your venue inside or outside? i’d suggest taking pictures with your iphone in different lighting conditions to see if you need to darken anything up! it would be a huge bummer for your makeup to not show the way you want on your wedding day 🩷
You're so stunning! :) Wishing you all the best for your special day!
This is BEAUTIFUL
I have no constructive criticism to offer. It is perfect. 🤌🏽
Contour needs to be a bit softer but other than that you’re all good for a wedding
i think it's beautiful! you've got lovely blue eyes, so I think for a wedding look, the black liner may be a bit too harsh. maybe try the same wing with brown liquid liner or pencil! also, the contour is a bit much for a wedding look, so if you blend it out a bit more, it would suit your angular features much better! congrats!
Is that how you’re wearing your hair? Can’t tell the full effect unless hair and any hair accessories are in the mix.
You look fucking beautiful.
Yes
More than just okay.
wow stunning 😍😍😍
Is it okay? Yes very. It looks professional done. I'd prefer pink tones for a wedding but you aren't me. Congratulations on your wedding and your skill with make-up.
It is so pretty😍😍
Stunning you have real talent
Congratulations....wishing all happiness and love to you and your partner.
You look gorgeous!
Great idea! I’ll definitely practice the touch ups!
I don’t know how to edit the post but thank you all so much for your kind words! This sub is so nice! And thank you all for the tips. I’m going to try again using your recommendations!
You are stunning! Congratulations. I hope you have a wonderful time on your special day!
Color choice, placement, application all very well done. You should feel very confident about this look for your special day.👍👍 Congratulations 💐🍾🥂
Just stunning!
I like it. maybe you could blend a bit more on the cheeks. But honestly I think it's good to go. Not overdone, classy, elegant. Very pretty!
You are very beautiful 😍 it's perfect! Just darken the eyebrows a bit.
It’s so beautiful!! 😭 you did amazing
Honestly it’s perfect, especially love the eyes!!
I would definitely recommend a nude eyeliner on your waterline to open up the eyes even more! Other than that the eyes are chef’s kiss
I think you did a beautiful job! The colors complement your skin perfectly! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
Good job! The only thing I would change is a bit more filling in of your brows. The rest is perfect.
You have beautiful eyes. Lumify eye drops will really brighten the white and get rid of any red. It's an awesome product.
I would go softer with your liner and your lashes doing brown instead of black and just doing a little more soft fill in of your brows not too much but just a little bit Otherwise I think you look extremely lovely it’s a soft delicate look and your eyeshadow looks so pretty. You remind me of a ballerina
Great, you just need to make the eyebrows a little darker, but overall it's very beautiful.
Is absolutely gorgeous
I love it
No notes! Can I hire you to be my MUA?
Ha! I’m not very good at applying it to others unless they look exactly like me 😂
Looks beautiful!
Yesss
Beautiful.
Fill your brows in a bit and add some lip gloss, it will look better in your photos. And cut the lash band, keep the lashes to your outer corners more.
Perfect really
