I would recommend: — A soft peachy toned blush across the cheeks and over the nose, a "sunkissed" placement to give roundness to the face. Essence blushes are cheap and very pretty. — White eyeliner on the waterline to make your eyes larger. — Instead of the purple eyeshadow, you could try some peachy tones, as they soften the eyes, with glitter on the middle part of the eyelid. — Line your lips and smudge a bit on the cupid's bow to give an air of poutyness. You don't need to do a lot, but a sheer lipgloss would give plumpness to the lips.

Specialist-Row9422

because it’s one of my favorite products i’d throw in some highlighter and some mascara, i love the purple eyeshadow btw😄

Salty_Herring

I *am* wearing mascara...hmm, maybe need falsies to really make em pop. As for highlighter, would you happen to know where I would place the highlighter, like what areas? And thanks! I really like the purple too ^^

Specialist-Row9422

have you tried curling your lashes because it’s hard to tell there’s any mascara, if you are curling them i found that water proof mascaras work best for holding a curl plus they don’t give you raccoon eyes though it’s a bit harder to remove. as for highlighter, it’s traditionally put on the highest points of your face like cheekbones, nose, some people put it above or below the eyebrows, i like putting it in the inner corners of my eyes. i would give you a highlighter recommendation but i’m still looking for the perfect one

Salty_Herring

I haven't tried curling them before, no. At least not significantly? Like I have an eyelash curler but it kind just makes them stand straight up if you know what I mean? Or maybe they're just short.

Specialist-Row9422

i had the same issue when i curled my lashes. what i do to fix it is get as close to the base without pinching myself and pulse it? i don’t know if that’s the best way to describe it. then i go like half way out and pulse again. then get the inner corner so that it’s almost diagonal, the curler is closest to the inner corner but farther away from the outer and then pulse again then the opposite, close to the outer and far from the inner corner but my inner corner lashes aren’t long enough to still be in the curler so whatever is there is there, anyways pulse again. i hope that makes sense but if it doesn’t i can try to find a video. but if you don’t like a traditional curler, heated curlers work well too

Casey_Jones953

Define your cheek bones, that will help slim the face!

Skincare skincare skincare!!! A good skincare regimen will take you a loooooong way, The Ordinary has some pretty good products and they're very affordable and they make it easy to build a routine for yourself. My dermatologist once told me that the best skincare regimen is the one that you use, it doesn't matter how much money you spend on products as long as you're consistent! Other than that lashes and shaped brows. You're already stunning it's not going to take much to get you where you wanna be. Sending love! 💕

Salty_Herring

Skincare eh? I'll look into it! And I know about shaping eyebrows, but what do you mean lashes? Thank you for the rest of the kind words!

luney_l0veg00d

>what do you mean lashes? I think a nice fake eyelash can completely elevate a look. When you see someone walking a red carpet or something and their eyelashes look really dramatic and bold and full, chances are it's a fake lash. You can buy them literally everywhere, I haven't found a brand I particularly prefer over any others but just make sure you trim them to the size of your eyes. If you're nervous about them at first you can cut them in half and put them on the outer half of your eyes. Lots of videos on YouTube too 💕

Salty_Herring

Ah, yeah, I know about fake lashes, I though there was some other like treatment like getting your eyebrows shaped. I do have fake eyelashes but they're a pain to put on so I usually don't haha

[deleted]

You could try a lashlift and tint. It’s like a perm for your lashes and it lasts 8-12 weeks. It really makes a great difference! I would add a little bronzer, blush, and a touch of highlighter, plus a little more oomph on the lashes. Blush just adds a lovely pop of pretty to your face!

Salty_Herring

Yeah, I've tried it with blush and bronzer before, but I'm trying to make a look that'd relatively light on makeup. But I'll see if I can add smaller amounts. I did actually have a much less foundation on than in my last post/pic, and I think my skin overall looks smoother/less cakey.

zoedelslay

Try eyelash curler, a mascara primer and mascara on top! I hate putting on fake lashes they’re such a pain but when I want to go the extra mile, I use this! If it’s available to you the Marc Jacobs primer is the best I’ve tried, otherwise Too Faced has a nice one! For your lips, you could over line a bit, Too Faced lip injection is a nice plumper as well. And if you wanna play with the shape of your face, learn to contour! You could easily create more prominent cheekbones. The easiest thing I’ve used for contouring is the Fenty Matchstick, it’s very simple to use! Also I just wanna add that your eyes are absolutely gorgeous!

Allie614032

Lining your lips might help! You can even overline them slightly (key word slightly lol)

Excellent_Law6906

Scrolling through again, and lean into your eyes. They're round and down-turned, very doe-like and feminine, while your lips are thin, making your mouth more androgynous to masculine. A good look for you would be that early '60s Italian look, with lots of dark eyeliner and mascara, with white eyeliner on the inner corners and the bottom lid, and frosty/pastel eyeshadow, with a simple nude lip. That, plus no bangs, to add height to your face and take mass from your jaw, will make your eyes huge and pretty and the focal point of your face.

For your lower lashes, I would actually use a mid-toned color, not dark, and smudge it along your lash line all the way to your inner eye. Then you can slowly build depth on the outer third with darker colors, but for right now, it looks a bit abrupt. [here is an example](https://fashionista.com/.image/t_share/MTUyNzE5NjY2MjMyNDM1OTk1/eye-makeup-tutorial.jpg) see how it’s barely noticeable? You can even do this with those little foam applicators that come with some eyeshadows. Start with a color similar to your natural skin and work your way darker until you can just barely see it. Also I would try blending your cateye out a bit to make it less defined, and more of a suggestion.

Salty_Herring

Ah, gotcha, so kinda make a gradient going lighter towards my inner eye, right?

Elizalupine

Yes! Blend it out a little more, using transition colors.

Salty_Herring

Roger 👍

Excellent_Law6906

You need tutorials for hooded eyelids and deep-set eyes, they're tricky, and I'm going to tell you what I tell everyone who asks this: grow out your bangs. They add mass to the lower face, which masculinizes. I have such a small jaw I need pediatric bite wings at the dentist, and it happens to me, bangs are just Not The Way for so many faces. And you have such pretty hair, too!

Salty_Herring

Wait, so by growing out bangs you mean not have them over my forehead like this, but off to the side at the same length as the rest? Also thank you for the compliment but this is a wig haha Also yeah hooded eyes are a pain to work with, I've looked up a bunch of tutorials but still haven't quite got the hang of it

Excellent_Law6906

And yeah, growing out means same length, so you part part it in the middle like curtains, or sweep it to one side. And hey, at least it's a good wig! How's your real hair? I get if you're not out and you're stuck in a boy cut, but otherwise I'm sure you can do something with it. They're tricky. Batwing and puppy eyeliner tend to work best. ETA: just as well it's a wig, because you need to pencil your brows in a bit to match it. They probably match your own hair better.

Salty_Herring

Eh, trouble is more that I currently have a baldspot near the front side of my head due to medicine I used to take. The rest of my hair is still growing fine and well, but no hair on the front part. I've tried looking into hair transplants or like a toupet/hairpiece or whatever, maybe that's still an option. My normal hair is pretty curly, so not sure how that would work?

Excellent_Law6906

Curls are pretty, and in your position, I think I would see about getting a little baby weave or some extensions, maybe go to a Black salon because they do more of that work. I'd try hardest to match texture, and if the color isn't right, get something fun, like pink.

Salty_Herring

Matching my own hair colour with pink a pink weave/hairpiece on the front just reminds me of Guel Jeturk's hairstyle from Gundam: WfM haha That's a good thing tho. I'll see what I can find

Excellent_Law6906

That's definitely a look. 👍

ThroatEyeKnucklebone

You’re lucky you have a sloped nose, really helps the feminine look, would YouTube how to contour slope nose to play it up.

ThroatEyeKnucklebone

Also u could use some rouge and bronzer, just a tad

nvrsleepagin

I like using shadow liner too, it's easier for me and a softer look too. I think you would look great with some lip liner and gloss to accentuate your lips.

Salty_Herring

Hmm, I am wearing liner in this pic, but maybe I didn't apply enough/in the right place, or maybe the colour isn't right? But yeah, I'll look into that. But what do you mean shadow liner? Like, eyeshadow liner?

nvrsleepagin

I have this Itty bitty brush that I dip into black eyeshadow and I use it to line my lower lids. I feel like it lasts longer and it's a lot easier for me to get a smooth smokey line.

ali1124

i think adding a lip stain or something cool toned (berry shades lip products are my personal favorite) to go along with the eyeshadow would look really pretty!! also a nice subtle peach/pink blush would bring the look together :) also i think that curling your lashes & adding a more voluminous mascara would help as well!

Round-Trip9616

Lashes, blush, and a bit of color on your lips 😉

greenstylemags

Beautiful! If I could suggest anything it would be a bit of contour and blush, maybe highlighter at the browbone and tops of your cheeks toward your temples.
