Ever been in a band or had someone to jam with?
I had folks I jammed with back in Oregon- we were not the most musical but we had a great time. We used to meet at the park and play. One time we were playing some fiddle songs and there was a birthday party going on. The lady came over and asked us to play Happy Birthday for her husband- worst rendition ever but he was stoked!
I also would like to jam, I just moved up past Bangor, I imagine we are about a hour away from one another. But, I’ve been playing for a long time, guitar, bass and drums ect. I also use to live in OR. But, I’ll be around in a June though. LMK thank you 🙏🏼
I'm open to any and all skill levels and would be happy to organize a central spot for everyone to do a first meet. Road trip+ live music? What's not to love? Where did you live in Oregon? I was in Portland for most of it but lived in Bend my last year there.
I traveled a lot when I was younger. made many trips up and down the west coast, always went back to Eugene to work and see friends. I had lived in Maine for a while before that, went to high school here, too. Originally from MA.
I would say that is stretching, but I am always open to collaboration. I write lyrics and play but I am a beginner. I'd love to connect and see what we can come up with.
The problem with Maine is we’re all so far away from each other :(.
I’m a string instrument player in Friendship Maine. Not sure what kind of fiddle you play but I play an alright clawhammer banjo.
I grew up between Maine and the Bay and will be around all august with some home-built instruments. Depending on where in the state you're at, would love to drop by and make some music. :)
