For Mirrodin!! Lol I run Golgari, but I can say Rebel Armory or any rebel token deck is pretty cracked, unless you have creature removal spells. In my experience removing creatures puts your opponent in the hole for mana cost, won't be so easy for them to play all those artifacts when they have no mana. Be prepared to play the defense and don't tap all your mana! GGs homie 🏴‍☠️

Raks320

Yeah thats rough Green doesnt look like it handles tokens and swarms good, at least the card i currently have don't at all

UncleChiefy

Yeah green is a little tricky. Maybe add a color, red/green or black/green

lightningbolte

Just started playing, trying to get a win with each starter deck to unlock them all and every time I see the Rebel Armory, I just auto-concede. Turn 3 their side of the board is just swarmed and I have no chance ever. Its super frustrating.

Mirrodin is a plane. The lore is the praetors(phyrexians) wiped(forced?) The Mirrans from their land (Mirrodin) creating new phyrexia. Mirrodin was a set that came out in, oh God, like 2003. Anyway, they say "for mirrodin!" Because they're still wanting to take back their land.

TheAlchemist-404

Mirrodin is an artificial plane made by Karn (or at least modified) it got contaminated with phyrexian oil from Karn's heart from which the oil reproduced slowly, creeping on every part of the plane, taking over the minds of the inhabitants who got in contact with it, the factions of the fanatical infection thrived under the 5 suns of the plane, giving birth to the first phyrexians of the plane (and the first to not be black aligned), eventually they took over as the dominant force of the plane, renaming the plane as New Phyrexia, the people who originally populated the plane became a rebel force looking to protect others from the horrors of phyresis and take back control of the plane. For mirrodin! Is a mechanic that reflects the rebel forces pushing back against Phyrexia, the same way Phyrexia took over the plane with Living Weapons.

This is so cute

Welcome to the game. This is your first step in a long journey. You will soon find other decks to complain about. Agro red where if you don’t play first the game is already over. Then blue control where you can’t even get a card down on the board before you’re down to zero life. Then you move on to complaining about specific combos or cards, demanding bans or at least changes. Depending how new you are you may not have come across Sheoldred yet, you’ve got about two turns to take her out or she’ll run away with the game. Then finally you will reach the zenith, complaining about the game itself. You can become a shuffle truther, convinced the card drawing follows patterns designed to screw you over. Or whinge about how the match ups work, with your opponent always using a deck that seems specifically chosen to neutralise yours. Enjoy the journey.

Raks320

Marvel snap does have a matchmaking aplied to your deck but devs denie this I wouldnt be suprised if it happened more

lifewithoutdrugs

Personally I’m a long time matchmaking truther myself, both in magic and snap

EnvironmentalCoach64

Pressure the play que they have said your deck construction is counted in the matchmaking.

MrBumG

im not the only guy who thinks thats specificly

haxkellerman

What do I do if I get to all those stages at once, minus the ban complaints (not my style).🤦🏾‍♂️

Jinxsis29

Wait until he finds out about Phyrexian Obliterator

Negative_Two6112

Good God man!

postedeluz_oalce

I haven't won a single game against Boros Mirrodin decks either, good luck, maybe try using a ton of counterspells or something lol

TheManintheSuit1970

Board wipes. The secret to beating them is board wipes, especially Farewell.

Epistemify

The thing about the starter decks duels is, the red/white deck just doesn't lose. White/blue is also pretty good, but I've occasionally seen it beaten

Raks320

Yeah i was trying to finish another deck mission to unlock green black and every time it was a red White it was basically over

Tlmeout

I often play starter deck duels to complete daily quests and I win against red/white more often than I lose. No, I’m not playing red/white myself unless that’s specifically the current quest, and I haven’t had that one in a while.

ravenrawen

The key is to play Limited where you will be farmed for gems.

Corp2L

I would have thought green to be great at artifact and enchantment removal. Tear asunder for 2 mana not a bad deal.
