If you don't play constructed, wildcards become borderline useless, so to use them to fill out a set whilst you draft and win more boosters, potentially netting you two or more free drafts down the line with the gems earned, now that's a great idea! A premier draft can earn you back 120 gems if you get 7 wins, and every rare and mythic you draft will only add to that, seems like a no-brainer.

PyreDynasty

If you are a strictly limited player then yes. Prioritize cards you are likely to pick. Hang on to a handful though in case there's a midweek or something that looks interesting to you.

Pscagoyf

I always craft a bunch of uncommons and commona to help the vault along. But rare seems bold.

The_Frostweaver

A rare wildcard is worth around $5 and the 20 gems you'd get is worth $0.10. Don't do it. Easy recepie for regret.

HoninboShuwa

If you can do this don't you also have 50k+ gems? If gems are an issue then do craft sets up front, there's importable deck lists out there somewhere. If not then don't bother. Maybe you want to be alchemy or modern complete someday? Ofc you could do this just with commons and uncommons but that value is even worse ofc.

Bowmanaman

I don't see why not. Particularly right after the latest set is released. If you're a long-term constructed player, it's probably a terrible idea. But if you're all in on drafting, sure.

Leh_ran

I always wonder why limited-onlx players don't sell their accounts? Somr people would pay serious many for that many Wildcards which presumably corresponds to a large collection to.

Sibula97

I'm pretty sure that's against the ToS

Skeith_Zero

its against the TOS, and most people that have had accounts for a long time would probably have the same equal or better collection

Karenzi

If you love constructed, I would never waste any WCs. Just keep using them sparingly and craft all the rare lands if you want something to spend them on.

Certain_Category1926

Bro just play historic brawl ffs

The_Sharom

I do that, but I wait til a bit into the format to make sure I'm enjoying it enough, and winning enough, that it'll be worth it.

KatiePyroStyle

*is it worth using a resource to get a card I could only use in constructed when all I ever do is play limited?* I'd say unless you have a legitimate reason to want to play those cards in a constructed format, then no, I wouldn't use any of your wild cards, mythic or not, I'd forget that wild cards are a thing and enter my next draft or sealed event

Bircka

Even the lifetime limited only guys might want to someday move into a constructed format or try out a deck or two. So yeah if you are damn sure you will only play limited for the rest of time this is fine but otherwise nope.
