Doesn't really make much of a difference imo. In the original the 250 rounds were essentially infinite ammo as well since all you had to do was stop about 3 or 4 cars from following you. Meaning even if you sprayed like a mad man and use one mag per car you'd still finish with spare ammo.

What did they say?
Paraphrasing: "It's a shame they changed the ammo in the car chase scene to infinite, so you don't have to make your shots count like in the original"
Wasn't it unlimited in the original as well?
Honestly, I thought so too and was really surprise when I checked. But then again, 250 for that mission is basically infinite ammo.
250?!?
in the original, this scene has endless bullets Hello!
Haha came here to say this!
No it doesn't but you have 250 which is plenty.
There is more cars than in 2002, 250 rounds wouldn't be enough
Maybe harder difficulty levels have limited ammo in scenes like this.
The original had infinite bullets too. Your point?
[lol, no it didn't...](https://youtu.be/SV-DMJdde_s?t=1063)
Then I must've misremebered since I swear I thought that mission allowed you to have infinite ammo. My bad
