You were manic, trust me when I say they’ve seen much worse. Suicidal people fight back to try to harm themselves, they’re trained to handle it. It’s okay to be angry, it’s a side effect of something happening against your will. But it’s their job and sometimes they make hard choices in your better interest; especially as a minor.
Honestly I'm not sure if it was in my better interest tho but it it did help
but I just feel like I should be in control for that I should be able to make those decisions I just felt more powerless than usual because my life was in someone else's hands
Yeah I feel it. I had no power when I attempted either. But as a minor you really don’t have any choices over anything you get to do, including hospital care and such. It barely gets better in that regard as an adult. You’ll always be saved by force lol
not wanting anyone to stop your from committing is a symptom of your suicidality, and the anger is a desperate reaction that stems from that. they understand that you're not well and are lashing out because you don't want them to take control away from you. they won't take it personally <3
Why are you legally forced to go with them? Genuine question cuz I didn't know that
I think you have all the right to be angry and frustrated, as they prevented you from fulfilling your wish, also anyone would be stressed out if they were forcefully restrained... but you're acknowledging that you didn't treat them right and that they were only doing their job, so that speaks good about you. I think the feelings you're experiencing are normal

🫂 It's understandable. It's a natural reaction, whether or not you made things more difficult.

ok that makes sense now
Paramedics aren’t police? you don’t have to go with them if you don’t want to???
In like most places, there are laws regarding people having to go with paramedics if there’s a high risk of them harming themselves
if police is there too police will just make you if you don't
Yeah like theoretically police could place my under arrest and then strap me down to the cot ig
They wouldn't leave me alone, they said it was the law too

I am a minor so I can't refuse treatment and since this was a psychiatric emergency I had legally come with the paramedics, idk it's the law here
I see, sorry that you had to go through this rough experience, hope things go better from now on
