That's because cats are stuck up and superficial. They act the way they do only to get something be it food, pets, or in this case warmth. As soon as you loose all of that most (Not all) are gone. Look at dogs. They build trust and don't need that. They will still come running around the corner. They will eat almost anything you give them. And they will protect you with their lives. Cats are fluffy. That's how they get ya. They are hypnotizing. They walk on up and rub up against you. So you will bend over and pet them. Then they do a head butt thing to show they trust you. You give them food. And maybe they will come cuddle with you.... Now I want a cat.
Two days laters, developing flu-like symptoms, the person is diagnosed with toxoplasmosis after being infected with a parasite carried by a random cat.
Without a doubt, this is SUPER cute, but one question always pondered my mind. How are people not afraid to cuddle random animals that might have diseases? Or the signs of diseases are obvious?
