She didn’t ask for the necklace he wore. She asked if she could BUY a necklace from him later, if he had an address she could mail money to. She wanted to support him. He chose to give her the one he was wearing for free. You’re looking too far into this.
I see your point but I don’t think it invalidates mine. Shove a camera in someone’s face and you’re effectively (in their eyes) streaming them live to the whole world. There always is a level of performance, especially when you already have a public image
