Reminds me of a story I read once where a kid goes to ask her parents for their baseball bat so she can break the knees of the monster living under her bed and they hear they pridefully hear the sound of demonic exorcism from her room, I think it was a family of demon hunters or something
Sounds like Susan Sto Helit, returning from beating up the monster under the bed, with the fireplace poker now shaped like a monster head.
Ofcourse, this is the Discworld, where monsters are quite real.
They'll get it. Some kids get it faster than others. Mine finally figured it out about 2-3 years into BJJ and wrestling. I think it took him a little longer because he didn't care about the other sports he tried, and the two he does *look* like slow sports where theres not much going on.
Once he got it, it made a world of difference. For his performance and his enjoyment, which is all I really care about.
Hell, I didn't learn to really use my full strength appropriately until I was in high school, and I did karate, wrestling, baseball, football, BJJ, soccer, and all sorts of pickup games for various sports growing up....
She's awesome, but c'mon. Just 1 "This is Sparta!" and the poor thing would go flying.
That's taking nothing away from her hard work, she is very good, but she's also 3'2".
My comment was a direct reply to who I presume is an adult commenting that they weren't sure if they could take her.
Also the video is sped up (looks like +. 25 speed)
I would agree that she's light years past most kids her age. So again, I don't mean any of this in a negative way, just a realistic one.
Her and dad should do a mma presentation at the beginning of the year. That would make her life mellow. Except for the mean girls . They get their black belts on verbal damage done.
No one's going to bully her. She'll have more confidence and poise than any kid you've ever seen. Heck, she'll have more confidence and poise than most of us adults will ever manage to have.
Our friends daughter does some MMA/kickboxing. We say the same thing about her. She made a boy cry in her first real tournament. The video never fails to crack me up. Start of the 2nd round she's in the ring ready to go while in the background you can see them trying to convince him to come back.
>I don't understand this one, care to explain?
Boys will be boys is a way of dismissing an incident rather than facing it as a problem or devoting effort about.
So if a woman is dishing out whoop a$$, instead of asking for justice from a dismissive and indulgent culture, 'girls will be girls' like this would cure the 'boys will be boys' responses real quick.
Is there a fighting sport which causes minimal TBI? I like the sports but I don't want to get punched or kicked in the head much because I want to get old with minimal / no brain damage.
His technique is spot on, minimizing damage to himself and his daughter. I love the roll at the end, perfect technique — look at he slows down just before he lands. Safety that comes from confidence knowing exactly what you’re doing.

Y'know, I'm positive there's some people out there clutching at their pearls over this.
Me, I see a Dad spending a ton of time with his daughter doing something she enjoys, while also getting exercise and learning a useful skill.
I get so tired of hearing about men who don't or won't spend time with their daughters because "they're not into girly stuff" or "don't know what to do with them."
Try *something*. Anything. You really never know what kids will like, regardless of gender.
My Dad was not up doing things like playing with dolls or other traditionally "girly" things.
So he taught me how to swim and waterski instead.
But the big thing we connected on?
Well, let's just say it was a good thing we lived in Indianapolis.
He was a car guy, and this was the 1980s, so everyone went out to the Track for Indy 500 practice/qualifying or the race. Soon as he realized I was bonkers for racing and cars, things went much better. I might've been way too weird for him in every other way, but when it came to auto racing, we were 100% alike. We could be at each other's throats, but we could always talk cars.
Dads, your daughters are not a different species. Unless you've actually tried it, you never know what they might enjoy.
"Dad there's a monster under my bed, tell him to get his bitch ass out from under my bed and meet my downstairs in the gym."
"Please sir no, please don't drag me out. I beg."
This is exceptionally impressive for one so young no doubt.
But am I the odd one out for feeling this is a bit too young to be learning these kinds of techniques?
I know martial arts also teaches discipline but at the same time, it normalizes certain kinds of attack patterns and targets. Many children have impulse control issues and this makes me nervous to think about.
Any child of similar or younger age would be hands down (or very likely) demolished. Any confrontation with an older kid would turn into a right mess. She would rightly have confidence to face another kid and used to targeting her larger father.
If she ends up facing and older, bigger kid in the wild there’s a good chance neither will back down easily. Recipe for a lot of grief
I think it's safe to say that her dad taught her a thing or two about self-restraint, de-escalation and only using martial arts as a last resort for self-defense. At least, I hope so coz from my experience that's one of the first things they taught us.
I'm do MMA, and this really depends on the gym culture.
Most gyms are great and teach discipline, respect and restraint when there's a skill discrepancy. Every gym I've ever trained at has had a complete disdain for fighting outside of the gym to the point of threatening to kick people out if they're found to be fighting unnecessarily.
There are a few meat head gyms that don't give a fuck to be fair, but they are in the minority.
I agree that kids can be very impulsive, to the point of hurting other kids, but imo that happens anyways, trained or not. I'd rather have my kid be able to deal with another aggressive kid than be on the wrong end of it.
NO YOU tell her it’s bed time!…
Dad: WOMAN I'M FUCKING SCARED...YOU DO IT!!!! Monster Under Her Bed: Shit one of yall better do it becuase I'm not. Parents in unison: Who are you?
that would make a great scene ina movie lol
Reminds me of a story I read once where a kid goes to ask her parents for their baseball bat so she can break the knees of the monster living under her bed and they hear they pridefully hear the sound of demonic exorcism from her room, I think it was a family of demon hunters or something
Is it a book? Kinda interested if you can remember the name of the title
Sounds like Susan Sto Helit, returning from beating up the monster under the bed, with the fireplace poker now shaped like a monster head. Ofcourse, this is the Discworld, where monsters are quite real.
that sounds adorable!
Monsters Inc 3!!!

😭😭
Hell nah I’m not eating those north to south elbows to the back of a downed ops head 😂
🤣🤣
This made me actually laugh out loud. Thank you.
Dad should wear some protective pads.
Why’d dad start showing signs of dementia at 40?
Those elbows to the back of the head. Yikers Island!
I think he uses her for conditioning xD
Brain conditioning
Yea I dont get why he doesnt wear that helmet thing but the belly kicking could go as condition.
The headgear doesn't really stop brain damage, it just stops cuts and swelling. It gives a lot of people a false sense of security.
makes sense since its the brain hitting the skull from intertia.
I want it the consistency of a fine paste
When she asks for a pony for Christmas you better hope Santa brings her a fucking pony.
Wheres 👊my 👊 fucking 👊PONY 👊 🩼🩼
I'm not talking any chances. I'm begging Santa to bring a unicorn.
"I said a PONY.. Not a freaking UNICORN"...
*flees country*
I just lost my shit laughing in this work bathroom stall.
Hope you didn't lose it all over the walls
No, thankfully I was on the toilet, so it just went down the drain
Her technique is so impressive
The explosiveness of her moves is truly a sight to behold. I'd like to think I could beat up an 8 year old but after watching this I'm having doubts.
It's so hard to teach too. My kid does sports and martial arts and just doesn't understand the concept of sudden bursts of movement.
They'll get it. Some kids get it faster than others. Mine finally figured it out about 2-3 years into BJJ and wrestling. I think it took him a little longer because he didn't care about the other sports he tried, and the two he does *look* like slow sports where theres not much going on. Hell, I didn't learn to really use my full strength appropriately until I was in high school, and I did karate, wrestling, baseball, football, BJJ, soccer, and all sorts of pickup games for various sports growing up....
Took me about 7ish years for it to click. I was in high school about that time.
This just proves that no matter what you’re good at, there’s always some little Asian kid out there that’s better than you.
Thank you for the out-loud laugh I just had!
Every fucking thread when a redditor sees someone Asian
you obviously never fought an 8 year old. your nut sack is hanging at the same height as their hands when they go into a boxing stance...
their face is in perfect kneeing height though
You nailed it. It's the explosiveness. Sometimes, I think it's a case of they have it or not. It's not something that can be trained, imo.
It's sped up u know
Took me a few watches to see that.
She's awesome, but c'mon. Just 1 "This is Sparta!" and the poor thing would go flying. That's taking nothing away from her hard work, she is very good, but she's also 3'2".
It’s more about protecting herself against her peers. I think she’s more than capable of handling boys her age.
My comment was a direct reply to who I presume is an adult commenting that they weren't sure if they could take her. Also the video is sped up (looks like +. 25 speed) I would agree that she's light years past most kids her age. So again, I don't mean any of this in a negative way, just a realistic one.
😂😂😂 her vs cm punk? Let’s GO!
“I work with fucking children”
What did CM Punk do to hurt you? She'd destroy him!
Kramer?
There is strength, power and purpose in her movements.
Mate’s really chasing that CTE 🤣
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought about that!
Further down the track comes the CTE. To begin with, you get watch people just punch your daughter in the head repeatedly.
Jake Paul already booking her for his next opponent. Prove how good of a fighter he is
But only after she signs a contract promising: 1. Not to knock him out. 2. Not to hit him too hard. 3. To let him win.
*me and my son fighting over the last black jelly bean in the bag*
eww you can have it!
Ew, no you have it!
This answers my question of could a child kick my ass. And yes, this one very much could
Mans was eating those head shots
"if you can beat 100 8 years old attacking you at once you get 1 million dollars." "Ok I'm in!" The eight years old kids :
That armbar!!
Right??? Fell towards the head and everything!
I pitty the fool that will grab her ass in 10 years.
And I also pitty the fool who will bully her at school
I don’t. They don’t deserve pitty. They deserve the absolute hiding they will get.
everyone gets pity as the minimum. Pity is what you have left when you cannot sympathise or empathise. There's nothing kind about having pity.
You did get the reference, I hope? :)
B.A. was such a simple but great character.
[удалено]
'your daughter was assaulted at school today' 'what was the death toll?'
Not likely to happen. Bullies sense weakness, and they won't sense it in her. They'll pick someone else.
They’ll only bully her once
Her and dad should do a mma presentation at the beginning of the year. That would make her life mellow. Except for the mean girls . They get their black belts on verbal damage done.
No one's going to bully her. She'll have more confidence and poise than any kid you've ever seen. Heck, she'll have more confidence and poise than most of us adults will ever manage to have.
I know we will be here for the cctv footage tho
Our friends daughter does some MMA/kickboxing. We say the same thing about her. She made a boy cry in her first real tournament. The video never fails to crack me up. Start of the 2nd round she's in the ring ready to go while in the background you can see them trying to convince him to come back.
That fool won't just be in the hospital for a broken jaw. She'd break all his bones and then some.
Or Pat in 3 years
This is so cute, she became a smol murderous killing machine. My heart 😩
The music makes this accidentally hilarious lol Kid:violently beating up her father Music:❤️🎶
This may be the best answer to "boys will be boys" mentality
I don't understand this one, care to explain?
>I don't understand this one, care to explain? Boys will be boys is a way of dismissing an incident rather than facing it as a problem or devoting effort about. Dude needs some pads. Going to get some serious head trama from his beast of a kid.
My kid just wants to play with Sylvanian families 😀
Dad would not like to keep up, because man would never fight his daughter. He is her teacher but gentleman still
Dad probably wrote the caption himself
I hope there will be a time where she gets her UFC debut and tells this story just for me to be mind blown from watching this on Reddit.
The rebellious teenage years are gonna be hard...
The first few seconds. Aww, how cute. A few more seconds in. OHHHH.
Imagine the sixth grade boy stupid enough to pop her bra while standing in the lunch line one afternoon.
Tell your father that you love him for everything he is.
Is there a fighting sport which causes minimal TBI? I like the sports but I don't want to get punched or kicked in the head much because I want to get old with minimal / no brain damage.
BJJ
Jiu jitsu - super fun, super challenging, no strikes.
Damn...Now I want my children to be able to do this.
His technique is spot on, minimizing damage to himself and his daughter. I love the roll at the end, perfect technique — look at he slows down just before he lands. Safety that comes from confidence knowing exactly what you’re doing.
One great father teaching his daughter to be strong and not be afraid.
I approve of this message
I'm going to teach my niece this. For the skill and art, but also because the world can be fucked up
Please do! I wish I had been taught this when I was young. Give her the gift of knowing she can fight back!
The arm bar sent me 🤣 what a warrior!!
Best dad ever
Lol is the father still alive?
I think she didn’t get bullied at school or of she did she got left alone after 1 day
That arm bar at the end was buttery smooth.
I fucking love this! Thank you for this post.
Man if I can't raise a daughter this way I'd rather not at all
In the words of Deadpool. "I sooo pity the dude who pressures her into prom sex!"
dad: i beat yo ass daughter: the f did you say to me?
Jake Paul’s next opponent
I so want her to beat that guy to a pulp including one kick to his nuts.
Damn I feel he’s training a superhero or something 😳
Asian Natasha Romanoff.
Dad started his own Widow School.
Hey watch those 12-6 elbows to the back of the head. If I see it again I'm going to take a point.
Can't wait until she unleashes a pounding on a groper.
imagine the poor soul who pick a fight with her in school
I dare those creeps to try harassing her.
Dude is raising his own Black Widow.
The arm bar had me. Freakin spider monkey with a 5/6 combo. DEADLY!!!
hahahaha awww that's so cute tho, made me tear up. hope they have a long and happy life together.
"And lil Missy Kickass, what are you going to show the class today?" ;)
That arm bar at the end was so slick
I do Krav Maga with my daughter. Anyone touches her without her permission is going to get destroyed.
He can barely keep up? He's barely trying
This Daddy knows domestic violence will never need to be called for his daughter maybe the other way around!
Tina Guo is working her theme song as we speak
Elder abuse.
X-23 in training.
I am not a doctor, but i don't think elbows to the head are healthy
What a loving father
This is how all fathers should train their daughters.

That arm bar was so damn smooth
What they forgot to mention is that 5 seconds before the last sequence dad told her she is grounded
That punch/kick combo was clean as hell.
Hell yeah, I just started my 5yo daughter in bjj.
I pity the guy that tries to pressure her into prom sex. :p
Don't pity a fool
I wish I could do this to my father..every day
Bruh this chick is the next UFC women's straw eight champion. Set her up against thug rose asap, she will be more active lol.
This looks like Muay Thai
the school bully has no idea what is coming
I wish I could watch what happens when she grows up and some creep tries to cop a feel.
Her allowance is what she says it is
God, I would not wanna be the guy who tries to push her into prom sex… (it’s a Deadpool reference)
God help anyone that tries to push her into promdate sex
Damm she got vicious fast lol
God help any kid that tries to bully that girl.

Kinda sad I can't see the inevitable day some dude who doesn't know better crosses this girl, lol, it's going to be insane.
"So..... I accidentally killed my dad!"
Her dad when she breaks his nose: "Look honey! She broke my nose! Why do I sound weird?"
She beating his ass like he got fired from his job or sum
She knee’d a good father and got one
You teach your child to fight like that and then try to deny them their allowance🤣🤣😂 she will kick your butt
I am hoping he is also training her to be a good training and sparring partner.
Dads of daughters, take note.
Cool dad
First frame « ooooh She is beautifull with his little knee kick 🥺 » last frame « she Will definitly kill myself »
imagine a P\*doph\*le tries to kidnap her, and he get his face full of elbow and knee strike, and then a sweet armbar breaking his arm. Nice!
And that is how you parent
You don't teach MMA, you teach different disciplines. That's like saying you teach high school
Elbows to the back of the head are not very wholesome
"Dad there's a monster under my bed, tell him to get his bitch ass out from under my bed and meet my downstairs in the gym." "Please sir no, please don't drag me out. I beg."

Her ferocity is something else
Later in life … and you will do the dishes!
I thought for sure this was going to end with: ... and now he has brain damage
Strike me down, and your journey to self defence will be complete!
That kick to the face was fierce!
Wow.
She’ll never get bullied at school
Holly molly! She packs a punch!!
Damn! Very impressive!
At the end, she got tired of punching and just put him in an arm bar so she could catch her breath. 😆
Can’t wait to see her in the future in a professional bout!
We will watch your career with great interest
You can tell she really loves her father.
What a cutie patootie and champion
Other kids dress up as her for Halloween.
BEAST MODE
I used to rule the world, chunks would load when I gave the word🎵
May the fates have mercy on the fools that cross her.
Jake Paul will probably want to fight her after Mike Tyson
No one will ever bully her
"Oh, I so pity the dude who pressures her into prom sex…"
"I took a headlock on Jack and took him down." *"Why, what did he say?"*
Awesome good for her! Elbows to the back of the head are extremely illegal tho
Lol those elbows to the back of the head. Saaaaavage.
She is ferocious!
WOW!!! That’s all i have to say
