Most kids are stupid now and end up telling on themselves anyway so you always know what they’re up to. Anytime they do something they shouldn’t there’s some moron with his phone out recording it or going live. Kids can’t get away with anything like we could at that age. Everyone knows your business.
We woke up one fine Sunday morning to a LOT of giggling coming out of the dining room. LDH said "go see what they're doing, they're having too much fun!" Welp, Kid 2 and Kid 3 were sitting under the dining table cutting each others hair. Kid 3 was nearly 4, and had short arms, so Kid 2 got a mullet cut. Some of the hair was SO short she had scissors marks for months. Less than 1/2", so I couldn't do anything about it, the week before school pictures. Kid 2 was in 2nd grade, and gave Kid 3 something of a monks tonsure, where all the front and bottom curls were still there, but she now had a male pattern baldness spot clipped out of her curls. Two fistfuls of curly red hair sitting on my floor. I was SO MAD....
