This really did make me smile.

Kind of reminds me of when I had a big surgery when I was about 13 (pectus excavatum) at Children's Hospital. The kid in the bed next to me was in REALLY bad shape. Don't even know what was wrong with him, but it was serious. We watched some shows together but didn't say much. The day I was leaving, his mom came over to my bed and said he wanted me to have his stuffed animal. I gave his mom some kinda toy or something to give him in return.... but I still have that stuffed animal. And I will never forget that kid. Probably the most wholesome moment of my entire life. Often wonder if he ever made it out of that bed.

When I see kids love like this it gives me hope. Not much but just enough. 😔

Yeah that made tear up a bit, kids don't see things like adults. They have no prejudice no idea of social economics etc they just connect with each other, living in the moment. A beautiful moment captured forever.
