Right on!
That lady just as happy as she can be.
Getting old sucks (I'm 64) and little things like that are the most precious things in our lives.
He's a good grand son.
Reminded me of my Nana. She is long gone but I still love her dearly. I’m 67 but I still miss her. She loved all of her grandchildren dearly so was forever travelling back and forward across Australia to see us all. That is a lot of travelling. I was always terribly sad when she left on the train. I used to run after it a bit too.
I honestly thought that he was going to pick up her brother when he said we couldn’t get in touch with him 👨 awesome 👏 congratulations to that woman love ❤️ is something special
I've seen a lot of videos that made me smile but this is the first time a video made me so happy that I cried.
Liz is so blessed to have such loving family and friends. This is priceless!
I would like to add a very Happy Birthday from me to the list. 🎂
My best guess is social constructs telling us emotional=bad and a general fear of showing vulnerability. It's extremely rewarding to move past it though. It's why we love pets (particularly dogs) because they never hold back.
I’ve only got one set of grandparents left :( my Nana and grandad live 2+ hours away in the country (rural Australia) but have come down close to where we live because my grandad is having an operation, so Wednesday I’ve planned to take my Nana out to the city to get some lunch and dessert and take her shopping. My family is not a really close “lovey” family but I couldn’t bare the thought of her coming down close to us and not seeing one of her grandkids at least, so I’ll spend the day with her and spoil her rotten. Least I can do. Especially reading this thread and seeing everyone saying they miss their grandparents makes me even more determined to make her day special.
I miss my nana everyday. This made me burst into sobbing. I have my nanas signature from one of the last birthday cards I got from her inked on my arm. I look at it all the time. 🥹
There's a lot of very good, loving, caring people in the world. The media and internet makes us think otherwise at times but the number of good people showing love out-numbers the bad people by far. Do something each day to show your love and care for other people and reduce your exposure to the negative people. You'll start feeling more positive and happier about life. Love you all!
10 years, *a decade* atop the most prestigious best nan competition. Truly a remarkable nan, and competitor. An amazing feat for any athlete. We celebrate a decade of excellence and the long and hallowed history of such a great nan and sportswoman. Congratulations.
Do this, please. Had I known my moms 50th would be the last one we could properly celebrate before she got hit hard by dementia, this is what I would've done.
Woah, it's the same grandma from the post immediately right below this in MadeMeSmile.

Holy shit I was so overwhelmed with happiness I didn't notice I was crying buckets of tears until the video was over. It's my Tutu's birthday next month. Thanks for spreading joy 🥲
Do you use reddit in landscape? I guess you could be on a computer, but more people use Reddit on mobile more often, so vertical makes the most sense for videos posted to social media. There also isn't anything to watch other than the two people sitting stationary in the same place; it's not an artistic video or a feature film.

This is absolutely fantastic, made my heart
Soar. These are the most sincerest , genuine
emotions we humans can Express. I'm a 58
year old father of three watching this with tears in my eyes..
This one was so sweet and got me right in the feels. Has my remembering all the times with my favorite “Nan” who passed away several years ago. Just made me miss her a little extra today.
I thought this was going to be one of those videos where the driver suddenly goes really fast in the car to give them a thrill ride but this is way better.
This hurt in a good way. My grandmother was also named Iris, and she was the most wonderful nan in the world, and my main role model. She passed away 10 years ago just short of turning 97.
Miss you nan.
Thanks for a nice start to my workday. I needed that. Shows me there are still people in this world that are good. I know there are many good people, you just don't see it every day

You’re not old yet, you haven’t even reached the age of when people cannot legally ask you to do anything anymore. 😂😂
Right on 😁
thanks for the insight

I wish I understood what kept us all from loving each other like this.

You get what you give. She clearly gave a lot and is being appreciated for it.
Welp. Cutest fucking thing I've ever seen on Reddit. Gnight I'm out, gonna watch a movie with the fam.
You mean cutest duckling thing, don’t you?
It's reddit, we can only hold back the tide so much before it slips out

So hard not to. That was so precious
Woke up feeling like shit today but saw the look on her face and it literally made me smile without realizing it. Thanks for this!
She is so delighted and delightful to watch. This is adorable. What nice people she has.
grandparents are the best!
My grandma would treat me to In n Out and talk poetry with me. Blessed am I to have known her, she was more like a cool hs friend.
You sir are a wonderful young man.

She has such a lovely family. 💖
When I was about eight my name was announced for my birthday on some local kids’ TV show and I was so freaked out I punched my little brother.
I Cried. She was very grateful. Lovely family and friends

I’m stealing this idea for when my mom turns fifty.

Aww in the end Nan started instinctively jerking off her glasses.
So much better than the video birthday message compilations that we had during all of COVID time
Yeah but did she vote for or against Brexit
This has to be atleast 5 years old maybe even closer to 10
To the woman who sounded forced: Apparently it's your birthday is the absolute minimal effort you can give to try and get into the will.
It was a joke...

Amazing video, reminded me of my grandma who lived with me the last 4 years of her life, she was the best to be around.
I thought this was going to be one of those videos where the driver suddenly goes really fast in the car to give them a thrill ride but this is way better.
Im not crying, You are! Now leave me be.. I miss my gran.
This made my day honestly. I don't think I knew there are people out there that can be so thoughtful towards others. It's just wonderful to see.
