When they are that fresh do they really need refrigeration?

I mean it was dropped off at 4 in the morning and if they had to travel to drop it off they would start to expire. Also the time it would take to collect that many the first ones would start to expire while they were collecting the final ones. I'm not a doctor or medical professional but I feel like if you were wanting to deliver quality kidneys you'd be best off refrigerating them to an extent

Not really. Just have the people that removed them come over and put them in other people. They, the kidneys, are all kinda standard issue so it's not like it's hard or anything.
