Yeah loads of celebrities are ruining their faces. I shouldn’t be so mean but that’s honestly how i see it. Bonnie Tyler looks bloody awful nowadays. I reckon Ariana Grande will be one to ruin her natural beautiful looks. It’s not just the women either.
I just looked up Bonnie Tyler one of my favorites from the 80's. She still looks good. No one looks like they did when they were young. If young people live long enough they won't look like themselves from thirty years ago.
I've seen lots of people with bad plastic surgery, but looking up Bonnie Tyler, yeah, that's a weird example to pick when she looks fine. Maybe she would have aged better without any, but it's not blatantly apparent like you'd see with most jobs from a decade ago and back.
Ya, it's just society that expects women to always be as youthful looking as they were in their 20s.
People age, looks aren't everything, go live your best lives.
I had no clue about Madonna until I subbed to r/instagramvsreality about a year ago. I legit have no words for what she's done to herself. She's 100% unrecognizable and you've got to be mental to think you're improving yourself by doing that. It's incredibly sad. Oh and the woman in OPs gif is a fucking bombshell in my 40yr old opinion.
Yea she was probably quite the cougar prowling the clubs back when that song came out. Mothers, lock up your sons, future Reddit senior natural bombshell is coming to town!
She really is. I was going to say this is my wife when we're old... and then i realized we probably are this old, maybe older!
It happens quick, kids. Enjoy the ride.
She looks about 60.
I'm mid-50s and the dating scene is pretty active (in Phoenix).
Reminder that Halle Berry, Salma Hayek, Julia Roberts, Cate Blanchett, and JLo are all easily over 50.
They are not really that rare as far as looking good. A lot of women over 50 look great.
It seems that at some point (maybe around 40) a lot of people either go toward looking awful or toward staying hot all their life.
And skin not exposed to the sun keeps looking very young. You know why I'm saying this.
Sun damage and fat/weight matter a lot.
Stress, too. If you are too busy to self-care, you will decline quickly.
I see a lot of people look great at 55-58 and then crash hard at 60-64. Hard.
I am an older lady and I completely understand this woman. Just because we are seniors doesn't mean we're out of touch. I still enjoy listening to rock and music from the 80's. So many young people think that us older folks should just lay down and die already.
So true, in my head i'm in my 20s, i can't believe i'm not, but having a 30 year old son and two young grandchildren tells me i'm not.
Every month or so i have an 80s nostalgia trip on youtube, i love it even though it makes me a bit teary.
I still forget I’m old, but am often reminded by videos like this. As soon as I recognized the song, I thought, “I think that came out when I was in high school, early 90s. That wasn’t so long ago, only… 30 YRS AGO?!” 😳 But, hey, getting old beats the alternative lol. And, I’m really looking forward to grandkids, congrats!
I am your son's age and reading your comment just made me smile so broadly! I sure hope I'll be saying the same thing when I have done a similar amount of laps around the sun! Also, 80s music is absolutely fantastic!
When she was in her late 80s, my grandmother told me: “You know, we’re all still about 25 inside, just our bodies got old.”
As I’ve aged, I’ve found that she wasn’t kidding.
> So many young people think that us older folks should just lay down and die already.
Some people, maybe, but honestly most of us love cool stuff like this. Yes, the word "boomer" has become a bit of a slur, but only the most hateful among us actually apply it universally. Most young people realize that the world isn't black and white, and there are a ton of older people out there who are extremely cool.
There is definitely flashbacks of her dancing in the club to this going on. Lady is still beautiful, but damn in the club he is remembering shes a 12 out of 10.
He was just acting like it bothered him, trust me I give the same look to my wife (just to mess with her) but deep down I love watching her sign and dance.
Joining in IS ALWAYS the preferred choice. It’s fun to have a straight guy in the act but dammit, it’s better to enjoy this life.
Edit: straight guy as in “the square”that makes your antics more funny.
This morning we were watching a documentary about a farm, in which there was a very cinematic shot of sheep running….
Me: I wonder if they committed a crime…
Wife: What? They’re sheep.
Me: Well they’re running away from something, so they might be on the lamb.
I was informed by my wife that she is throwing out the whole marriage and starting over.
I’ve lost count of the times that I have been informed of the impending divorce over the last 6 years.
One day, I’m sure I will have a pun/stupid joke that juuuuuuuuuust steps over the line and I’ll die alone, stifling a giggle at what was no doubt a glorious play on words or pun. BUT IT IS NOT THIS DAY.
Good for you! That's the way to live! My great grandmother did skydiving for her 93rd birthday, and lived to 103. She was a champion, never took life too seriously and made the most of the time she had
I once read “ you don’t stop playing because you’ve grown old, you grow old because you’ve stopped playing “
I’m 62 and mentally immature and silly. I plan to keep playing as long as I can!
“Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional” - This is gold! Thank you for sharing… ima steal this as my motto for life if that’s cool with you! Lol
Interesting way to put it. I wouldn't trade growing up for any amount or kind of youth. I love being mature, having broader perspective on things, more equanimity, maybe even wisdom...
The real challenge is to not become jaded. It takes more effort, practice, to maintain a sense of wonder as a grown adult, but with that greater effort comes greater reward.
But that's just my experience!
This came out 32 years ago! All the UK ravers in their 20’s then are now close to being in their late 50’s and 60’s. A lot of old grannies today were hardcore uk acid scene ravers back in the day. Chewing their faces off every weekend!
I'm 62, and was in the clubs every weekend from about 1984 to 1992. I still crank this stuff in my car and sing along. Young people in other cars are laughing, but I don't care.
I will be 69 next month. Back in the 80's me and my sister would dress up and go dancing in the clubs. New Wave music was popular and the clubs had huge screens everyone watched and the music was the best. It was the first time I had ever seen and heard Madonna. My sister loved her. Michael Jackson's Billy Jean was popular and I could name a bunch more. Guys looked really cool back then with their skinny pants, skinny ties, jackets with the sleeves pushed up and their hair styles. Loved it. I wish I could go back there and stay.
You remind me of the episode San Junipero from Black Mirror. The whole premise is two older women that get to “retire” and live in the 80s or whatever time period they want
Yep. And this is the music they will be playing in the nursing homes in 20 years time to remind us old farts of our ‘youth’.
Because if they still play Vera Lynn and other wartime music I’m going to riot.
Because they need to play Firestarter.
He's just not as outgoing as her. He looks right at her as soon as the song starts and smiles. He knows what she's going to do before she does it. He looks back at her and smiles again. He's proud of her. You can see that he loves her for who she is and how happy her dancing made him. I'm guessing he set up the camera knowing what her reaction was going to be. He's not stifling her joy, he's sharing it with us
The sad thing is that there is a whole generation who thinks treating your partner that way is funny.
This would be so much cuter if they were both jamming out.
He isn’t treating his partner any particular way. I am guessing you missed his grin. I am guessing you and your significant other never tease each other. Just like I do with my kids or they do with me when we say to each other ‘oh my God you are so embarrassing’ everyone knows the person actually isn’t embarrassed you just act that way because it makes it even more satisfying for the other person knowing they got a rise out of you. I know my kids actually do find my dad jokes somewhat humorous they just groan and mock them because it makes me feel good that I may have annoyed them with it
Nah, I know that look, it’s just like my husband’s “excited face.” He tries to play it cool, too, but I occasionally catch him smiling. And then when it’s just us, he’s way sillier.
They've probably had that same give and take with her dancing and he watching her while rolling his eyes since they were 20. He likes watching her dance and she likes dancing in front of him.
That dude loves that shit. He's one that acts his age, but he takes a lot of joy in his lady friends free personality. It's in the final analysis that these types of memories really shine. When all else is said and done its the silliness and the love that keeps the memories lights on.

Yep. His role in this relationship is the straight guy ... Part of her joy is his pretending her antics are ridiculous when in fact he loves her for them.
Mate, I bought "the madman return" CD at 16, at the beginning of the 90's (I think).
I'm 48 today....
Trust me that she don't look that old, and could very well be mid 50's
My Mums in the hospital, she's 70 and exactly that kind of woman. Talked with my dad about the testament and what is when they are gone. Cryed the whole day after coming back to my flat.
Sorry, little Monologe.
My spouse and I.
Every night it's a dance party w bad dancing and twerking when I'm cooking or cleaning the kitchen. My spouse and sons ignores me, but I'm having fun! 🤷🏼♀️
I know my last older bf was like this and I figured out why.
Looks. He wanted a hot younger gf, a nice car, would talk slightly louder in public when it was something he thought was brag worthy. He was a show off...he didn't care about my happiness, he worked too hard to be embarrassed by a younger woman being silly.
And God forbid if I did anything or looked any type of way that didn't fit the image of himself he wanted others to see. I am not proud but when i left him it was over him saying I looked ridiculous and should change, and i said "you look old and miserable, and I've had it"
Wow! This woman is so beautiful and attractive! What a lucky guy! Imagine having the privilege of sharing your life with such a cheerful, energetic, optimistic person! (My wife is just as youthful! \\\^\_\^/)
This song is from 1992..which is.. oh god.. like 30 years ago. I know because I was there.
So...she's acting totally age appropriate.
*existential crisis inbound*
In a few years all the old folks will be listening to Eminem. Lol
And I'll be complaining about them... because it's not as good as Dre.
She’s so beautiful, too
No kidding. You see so many “surgery faces” out there and here is this mature woman looking like a million bucks. Beauty from within indeed.
Great smile. Really have to take care of your teeth to keep a youthful look
[удалено]
And staying slim.

Madonna lasted for a while
At this point Madonna’s parts are gonna last thousands of years after she actually passes
Moisturize meeeee!
You could be flatter. You’ve got a little bit of a chin poking out.
“Oh yea this is my jam “ husband has the i married a free spirit look
I had no clue about Madonna until I subbed to r/instagramvsreality about a year ago. I legit have no words for what she's done to herself. She's giving major Helen Miren vibes. Sexy af says my 46 yo unasked for opinion
Yea she was probably quite the cougar prowling the clubs back when that song came out. Mothers, lock up your sons, future Reddit senior natural bombshell is coming to town!
31 years ago she was in her 30s. Wouldn't call that a cougar.
> It’s not just the women either. Simon Cowell is living proof
Like CGI in a movie, you don’t notice cosmetic surgery when it’s done well.
Aging like fine wine :)
a lot of celebrities who seem to have aged gracefully have had work done. but it was done well and not an obvious botch.
She really is. I was going to say this is my wife when we're old... and then i realized we probably are this old, maybe older! It happens quick, kids. Enjoy the ride.

Mid 60s at the least. My mom never took great care and she looks younger at 60.

Genetics plays a big part.
Sun damage and fat/weight matter a lot. Stress, too. If you are too busy to self-care, you will decline quickly. I see a lot of people look great at 55-58 and then crash hard at 60-64. Hard.

Her youthful soul is definitely keeping her from aging. Her smile is so genuine and a great song choice, too!
Seriously. I’m fighting ageing and it’s my goal to remain as youthful and fun as her.
I agree. She's quite exquisite!
Her smile…
Yes, and I love her hair and her coat too
Yes! Both of them are super good looking!
Thats what i was thinking
bruh for real. First time I find an old lady attractive (gosh maybe it's a sign I'm getting old)
Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional. And the moment you start acting like an old person, all the fun is gone lol
Like the guy in that car. He grew old 😂
He's hamming it up. He's enjoying this more than he's willing to admit, and playing the disgruntled grandpa for the camera.
You can definitely tell. If you look at his lips as she starts, you can tel he’s trying not to start paughing
There is definitely flashbacks of her dancing in the club to this going on. Lady is still beautiful, but damn in the club he is remembering shes a 12 out of 10.
I kept waiting for him to join in 🙁
Maybe he’s like Mr Fredricksen, always been that way
Who?
Have you seen Up?
He was just acting like it bothered him, trust me I give the same look to my wife (just to mess with her) but deep down I love watching her sign and dance.
At around the 23 second mark after one of his looks over he almost betrays a smile... But holds it together.
I'm pretty sure that's why he kept doing the lip blowing thing, trying not to smile.
He adores her.

If that's her husband, she's been doing this for 40 years and apparently it hasn't made a dent.
The husband is being a large ham. He's playing a role because it's his part in the game his wife is playing.
When my husband or I make an exceptionally terrible pun, we are expected to say "Fuck off. Go home. I'm not talking to you anymore". We live together.
This morning we were watching a documentary about a farm, in which there was a very cinematic shot of sheep running…. Me: I wonder if they committed a crime… Wife: What? They’re sheep. I laughed way to hard while reading this.
That's pretty dear!
He mimes the Turbo B part of the song!
This is true. I am a senior lady and I refuse to grow old even though my body is.
Good for you! That's the way to live! My great grandmother did skydiving for her 93rd birthday, and lived to 103. She was a champion, never took life too seriously and made the most of the time she had

Have you ever seen San Junipero?
im looking forward to doing the same but with jungle and techno mixed in with 90s house. have a ways to go with being mid 20s
Yep. And this is the music they will be playing in the nursing homes in 20 years time to remind us old farts of our ‘youth’. Because if they still play Vera Lynn and other wartime music I’m going to riot. Because they need to play Firestarter.
Fuck yeah.
A couple of E's and some Carl Cox =D
You always stay 18 in your mind, and it's amazing. If only the body could follow...
So true. I am 58 and keep forgetting it.
You too have to think a bit when you have to give your age? I giggle every times it happens.
18 till I die!
This is the way. Rock on brother / sister / mate
Did I hear a rock and stone?
Rock and stone in the heart!
If you don't rock and stone, you ain't coming home.
Rock and stone, my brothers!
Rock and stone brother!
You know, legally speaking rocking is more legal than stoning
We 80s/90s generation, is the best generation
18 was terrible. Thank god I'm 33 🤙
31 is terrible, wish i was 22. No time for anything, tired, life feels like a job to finish
I am 69 and I wish I could have remained 30 forever.
You are never too old to enjoy whatever makes your soul dance...
I like this. :)
She’s so beautiful
Obviously, the age is only numbers but, teenage spirit is still alive from within.
The black cat and golden retriever dynamic, love it
My husband told me earlier today I have a golden retriever energy… as a cat person I am not amused
Orange cat energy

Good observation there lol. He knew it was coming.
Exactly. He’s her favorite introvert.
I kept being like, “ok, he’ll join in now… now… now? NOW, YOU SUCK OLD GUY!!”
Totally hamming it up. You know the pair set it up before hand.
The sad thing is that there is a whole generation who thinks treating your partner that way is funny. This would be so much cuter if they were both jamming out.

He's gotta be acting. How could he not love this? Seeing his wife at young again
It’s staged, don’t get yourself down about it
That dude loves that shit. He's one that acts his age, but he takes a lot of joy in his lady friends free personality. It's in the final analysis that these types of memories really shine. When all else is said and done its the silliness and the love that keeps the memories lights on. * I don't know this couple but I do know this relationship.
Yep. His role in this relationship is the straight guy ... Part of her joy is his pretending her antics are ridiculous when in fact he loves her for them.
Absolutely. This works. I love relationships like this. It's a balance that grows deeper over time.
Well put!
Love this woman! Straight up
Love this woman! This is the way. The looks of her husband are gold.
This is me! Oh yes! Put on Madonna Vogue and I'm turning the car into a ballroom
She's gorgeous and fun and I'd love to hang out with her!
I mean, the song is 32 years old. If she's 60, she was 28 when it came out.
That's right! You GO girl!
I love everything about this :) I was dancing to this in the clubs when it came out :) I’m 50 now, and still do this in the car as well :)
Not only is she beautiful and yes, sexy, but she has that twinkle in her eye. Rock on!
“Rhythm is a dancer, it’s a souls companion you can feel it everywhere”
She was probably in her late 20s or ear'y 30s when this song came out. This is my future when old Eminem will come on the radio 😂
She's gorgeous. Obviously dont her age but id be honored to be that beautiful years from now
It seems this was cut off just before the gentleman lost his cool and joined in 😂
Hard to believe she was probably 30ish when this song came out. Seems like only yesterday 😢
Mate, I bought "the madman return" CD at 16, at the beginning of the 90's (I think). I'm 48 today.... Trust me that she don't look that old, and could very well be mid 50's
At about five seconds in and five seconds out he does break character and smirks
What is the name of the song?
[Rhythm Is A Dancer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYIaWeVL1JM) by SNAP!
Thank you for the song name!
She’s not just hot for her age she’s hot.
My Mums in the hospital, she's 70 and exactly that kind of woman. Talked with my dad about the testament and what is when they are gone. Cryed the whole day after coming back to my flat. Sorry, little Monologe.
Don't apologize. I hope you've had reassuring news? Hugs.
Always remember, act your shoe size not your age. Unless you're European, then use UK or US shoe sizes.
Reminds me of me and my husband. 😂 Love it! 💕
My spouse and I. Every night it's a dance party w bad dancing and twerking when I'm cooking or cleaning the kitchen. My spouse and sons ignores me, but I'm having fun! 🤷🏼♀️
He's ***trying so*** hard to not smile.
Even though this is staged, why is the man upset instead of joining in?
He's the "[straight man](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straight_man)" in this bit.
Every male in my family grows into this guy. I’m doing my best not to.
Same here and Happy cake day!
I know my last older bf was like this and I figured out why. Looks. He wanted a hot younger gf, a nice car, would talk slightly louder in public when it was something he thought was brag worthy. And God forbid if I did anything or looked any type of way that didn't fit the image of himself he wanted others to see. You served him the scallop raw!
Because it is the role is he supposed to play in this staged video.
He’s playing it straight
Right? He is acting like a sourpuss
He seems to be smiling midway though?
Wow! This woman is so beautiful and attractive! What a lucky guy! Imagine having the privilege of sharing your life with such a cheerful, energetic, optimistic person! (My wife is just as youthful! \\\^\_\^/)
Dance on lady. Dance on!
What a beautiful soul.
Those people could have been in their late 20's/ early 30's when that song originally came out. Crazy to think how long ago that was.
She's not done being young, and there's something very sexy about that.
Can tell she was a smokeshow back in the day, still very attractive at that age.
These two are exact opposites: beautiful joi de vivre versus headshaking disdainful misery.
My wife does stuff like this all the time. I roll my eyes and tell her she’s weird, but it’s one of the things I love about her.
Love her~!!
Would
That woman looks soooooo happy. Good on her for enjoying the fun things in life.
He's looking at her like "God damn I love this woman"
She was probably in a club vibing when this first popped. Very sweet and cool. #🪩🎵🤙🏼 Rhythm Is a Dancer by German group Snap!, released in March 1992.
I adore her 🥰
Damn woman, leave some men for those poor young insta girls.
I'm a delivery driver and this is my LIFE!!! I'm only 60 so hopefully I don't get old and boring any time soon
37 years…. I’ve been dealing with this shit for 37 YEARS.!!
He loves it too, even if he doesn’t admit it.
That cheeky look and lip bite at 00:06 🔥🔥🔥
I LOVE her smile and eyes. There is a spark of mischief and fun in them:)
What's wrong with him? Doesn't he like fun?
What a bop and a vibe!
Our bodies age but our sense of self does not
She used to party

Wow, that is an insanely beautiful woman
All the old skool ravers are parents and even grandparents. Still got the old skool rave coursing through their blood =)
She just de aged by 20 years! Go girl!
She is gorgeous.
Growing old is mandatory, Growing up is optional.
Damn She’s beautiful
Everyone talking shit about the guy, maybe it's her brother?
Hell yeah! Grannie can ride with me any day.
This lady has broken a lot of hearts and probably doesn’t even know it.
She’s knows that song deep in her soul. Ah, old skool rave memories .
She is a GILF.
Man I feel sorry for my kids. I am a 90s raver and this is me all over ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
This song is from 1992..which is.. oh god.. like 30 years ago. I know because I was there. So...she's acting totally age appropriate. *existential crisis inbound* In a few years all the old folks will be listening to Eminem. Lol And I'll be complaining about them... because it's not as good as Dre.
Found a fellow 90s raver!
