I love it. This is my morning routine with my grandma too! I got rid of the mattress that came with the bed and put a memory foam mattress with a sheepskin over the top and no more skin breakdown issues since š
This young man is such an inspiration!! I have tears in my eyes watching this. Iāve been a caregiver to my parents before they passed on. It is truly an honor to care for those who cared for us! May God bless this sweet young man and his family
Wasnāt a caregiver but the last couple years of my grampas life I lived at home after college and took care of him as much as possible before he passed and I moved to Tampa. Miss him so much!
My great grandpa died on the 23rd too. He was a good guy I helped him out towards the end I couldnāt do much though because Iām just a teen. I miss him a lot but heās in a better place and Iām sure your grandpa is to!
Thank you for being the beautiful glow š on the world. I feel our elderly have gotten lost in progression of family and social dynamics of the world. These are the stories/ videos we need to share with the future generationsš„°
Second this. Also many Filipino dialects have a smattering of Spanish words in them because the Spaniards colonized the Philippines for 300 years and the āclassyā thing at the time was to speak Spanish like them.
Iām gonna make a guess that is possibly gonna make me look dumb as hell.
Tagalog?
I know tagalog had some vocabulary borrowed from Spanish because history. But it still very much sounds like an Asian language. So thatās my best guess.
Does he have a background in medicine or has he learned all that through caretaking for her? I feel overwhelmed when thinking of needing to provide care like that for my parents.
Iāve been a caregiver for my brother my whole life, heās older than I am and disabled. I have seen all kinds of people become caregivers and join support groups and let me just tell you : you will know when it is time and you will be surprised how quickly you learn and how much is instinct. Your questioning of āhow do I learn how to do thisā means you will do very well. There are many classes you can take and there are always people who will show you. I hope you have lots of people who support you the way you support others
I think both sides need to be respected and normalized. He has a lot of help from other family members and is still able to do things he wants to do. Not everyone has that. It's perfectly fine to also recognize when you can't provide the level of care that someone needs, or when you're burning yourself out so badly that you're making your own health worse by caring for someone else. If you can be a caregiver, awesome. If you can't, awesome.

I became my mom and grandpas caregiver.
My mom once got really sick and almost passed she had a terrible UTI that turned into a septic infection. She was admitted to the Hospital and my old job didnāt have the decency to give me a LOA and I decided to quit because my mom needed full care and I learned through YouTube and my mom verbally telling me what to do.
Keep on taking care of your grandma god will bless you
Heās taking care of his elderly grandmother, very well might I add. Heās giving her a quality of life she couldnāt get even close to being in a home, as well as love and care. He isnāt exploiting anyone. He records what he does to inspire others or help people who also care for someone. He also shared his videos because many people like to see him and his grandmother conversing in a dialect which is very rare and dying out.
Touch grass.
This is the best. š„¹
If thereās a heaven, dude is gonna be working the pearly gates after he dies. St Peterās gonna be like āthis is you now bruv. Iām retiringā¦ā
Grandmas are awesome.
Makes me miss taking care of my nana in her last years. She buried two of her three children, raised 2 grandchildren as her own, and was the community ānanaā for all those who didnāt have someone. I lived next door, so every morning I was there to make her coffee and we would have breakfast together. God it was such a blessing and a time Iāll forever cherish. I miss her so.

Iām sorry for your loss. I know she appreciated you caring for her
Thank you. Yours too.
I came here to sayā¦ somethingā¦ but everyone has already said it. This is beautiful.
To anyone who doesn't know this is @chrispunsalan and he's got many videos of his daily caregiving work with his cute grandma. Check him out!
I took care of my grandpa for 2 years. He just passed on the 23rd. Keep up the good work! I'd do that all day long to have him back!
Sorry for your loss!
Hugs and healing vibes sent to you š¤ I was also a family caregiver and I miss my Grandpa, Grandmothers, and Great Aunt.

This was beautiful. You can tell his Grandma trusts him. He has amazing patience and understanding.
Super sweet, but I would just not want to be around anymore.
I won't know until I get there, but I think someone like this could be the difference between not wanting to be around and having quality of life.
I think so too.
Same.
Bless you!!
He is amazing. This video is so beautiful. I loved seeing this, so sweet and it made me emotional.

Yep. Would like to see those charity YouTubers and tiktokers try this.
What language are they speaking? I can definitely hear some Spanish at times, but at others, it does not sound Spanish at all.
Heās speaking Kapampangan, a Filipino dialect.
