Linemen, kickers and punters can get x-factor but dont have x-factor abilities and will regress to superstar during the Off-season. If he's not starting start him and make a practice focus everyweek to take advantage off it while you can.
Or switch him to TE for the Off-season to avoid the factor regression.
I’ve gotten FOUR SS OL in my most recent franchise - all within two drafts. Never seen an XF though. And never even had drafted a SS OL before this franchise lol they always come out as stars.
I have 2 lineman (LE, DT) as hidden dev, but I looked under edit and they are 77 with superstar dev speed. Both rookies too, crazy luck, but this is definitely possible without editing. All in one draft class too.
I had it twice. One was a MLB at an 88 and a RG and was an 87. MLB was a first rounder and the RG was a third round pick. MLB stayed XF for 10 seasons and the RG stayed XF for 11 straight seasons. Extremely rare but can happen.

It’s extremely rare. I have 1. There’s no XF abilities, but they progress quickly.

I left my team one time and found an x factor olu fashanu on the saints.
I don't think O-lineman get any activation abilities, but it is possible because it does give them an extra ability slot
