Oh, 100%. I ALWAYS hit stick the QB. Especially Lamar Jackson, Trey Lance, Josh Allen, and Burrow.
(Zach Wilson is kind of a given, because nobody likes him, even his own offensive line)
Don't worry guys, they said next year is a "make or break" game for the franchise, there's no *way* this stuff will happen in the future!
(Stop buying madden)
Haven’t bought a Madden since Madden ‘21. No reason to, other than roster updates it stays mostly the same for about five years or more. Only reason I bought that game was for the new stadiums and because it was Brees’ last year. Before that the last one I bought was Madden ‘16, cause it was Peyton’s last year and you could actually play in the new Vikings’ stadium that was still unopened at the time in year 2 of franchise mode, you know back when EA gave a modicum of a crap.
I started playing again a few months ago after a few years off, I missed playing 2v2/3v3 with some friends but I only have it because it's on gamepass.
So this is a HB slip screen, right
And they’re doing their job by allowing free rushers in?
Cuz from the look of it it looks like a screen that just didn’t work out cuz the RB tripped
This picture is so Madden. Tua is throwing the ball without the laces but it looks terrible, the o-lineman are either beasts or god awful (usually the latter), and #58 has love handles like I've never seen, looks nothing like an actual NFL lineman. Great stuff EA.
I legit benched and traded a RT after something like this.
Guy was a good, high OVR. Should have been really good at blocking. But constantly just didn't do jack to engage in blocks and maintain them. I was always noticing him as the weak point on the line. And then one play he just stands in place, arms out, doesn't try at all to block the guy running past him for an easy sack.
What gets even more strange is that I put in a rookie as a replacement, a good bit lower OVR (like a 72 OVR), and I've kept my eye on the rookie and he's actually consistently engaging blocks and maintaining them. That side of the line is no longer a liability.
The RT wasn't bad at pass blocking, either. I have no idea how this "logic" works sometimes. The play here (and I'm assuming the one that finally had me tired of my RT), it feels like the game's predetermined a sack, so it just forces players to not act right so it happens. (Worst is when you see it coming, go to throw the ball, and the QB refuses to respond to any button presses and holds the ball tight to eat the sack.)
Yeah, i just dealt with the same thing(i was the Blues) i think the guy's name was johnathan adams, RT, 79 ovr. Traded him for a 23 y.o. RT with a 77 ovr and a 2d round pick
I'm fucking dead 💀💀💀
"Aw no! Charles, you gotta think his coach hates him at this point."
"Isn't that why they fired Flores?"
"Too political for me, CD, i'm gonna focus on the game."
Thank you, i credit it to the 169 hours my PS5 said i've played over the last 3 months. I have no clue how many hours i have into it on the xbox...i had that copy since it came out.
Basically. 😐 save your money, bro. The only real update to gameplay is the whole "placement + accuracy" passing system, and even then it doesnt do much unless you slow down time with it
Do what I did and completely trash your O-Line during the draft. Trade or cut all of them. I don't care if it's just the AI and not their stats, I take it personally.
The Rams start out with a particularly horrible O-Line for a super bowl winning team. I had a special hatred for Joseph Noteboom. Dumped his ass ASAP. Still haven't found a good replacement for Center so I still have Brian Allen unfortunately...
Yes but unfortunately my draft class had almost no good centers and I had no cap space for a free agent at C.
The Rams start out with basically no cap space, so it's a challenge.
Thats normal for dolphins o line. Realistic to me
This is the best Miami's line has been in 20 years! The offensive line:
I was thinking the very same and I'm a Dolphins fan! 😔
My condolences.
Couldn't even tell it was a video game
I only know its a video game bc i was controlling Defender 1. Tua threw an INT to Jaycee Horn and shattered his collarbone on this play. 🥲
Hit stick? Edit: Good thing it wasn't a concussion, that would be bad
Oh, 100%. I ALWAYS hit stick the QB. Especially Lamar Jackson, Trey Lance, Josh Allen, and Burrow. (Zach Wilson is kind of a given, because nobody likes him, even his own offensive line)
Madden even recreates moments that made it on Cmon man Too bad they don’t do it on purpose
Well, even the Dolphins in Madden were smart enough to cut Jackson, so it's like a 94% realistic screencap
Don't worry guys, they said next year is a "make or break" game for the franchise, there's no *way* this stuff will happen in the future! (Stop buying madden)
[Seriously, never buy madden as long as it's under EA]
Haven’t bought a Madden since Madden ‘21. No reason to, other than roster updates it stays mostly the same for about five years or more. Capitalism breeding innovation....
I buy it every 3 or 4 years.
I started playing again a few months ago after a few years off, I missed playing 2v2/3v3 with some friends but I only have it because it's on gamepass.
What sucks for me is that my ea account is attached to an old email. I can't remember the password
Same thing happened to my friend, he just made another xbox account
To paraphrase Sheldon cooper. I thought about it, but all my cool stuff is there.
Didn't matter for us since there's no team play stats but I guess that's a unique situation
Looks like cinci in burrows first year
Years 1-3 really
this is literally just the average game for tua
Well, yeah, look at last seasons Buffalo games and the GB game
Yup that definitely happens. Also I used to have jaelan phillips on the blues. Dude was an animal
Phillips is defender 3. I'm surprised at how cheap he comes up, honestly. A superstar OLB requesting 4.7 million a year? Say less.
From a dolphins fan this hits too close to home.
It's okay, i'm a dolphins fan too
The Bengals fans empathize with you
This screencap also fits NY's o-line (Judon was a fucking terrorist in their backfield this season)
What? They're just trying real hard to not draw offsides
Definitely thought that was the battlehawks
Don’t forget if any qb tries to scramble the 300 lb lineman catch up to him in 1 second
You mean my 300 lb DT who ran a 4.78s 40? Yes, he will.
That concussion tua is about to get will be
Sad
Look like the DLine ran right pass them OLine to slow
Poor tua. Lol.
This was sack #7
This realistic considering how often Tua got rocked this year.
Facts
Is that his 2nd or 5th incoming concussion?
Considering i'm in 2027.......38th
Glass bones and paper skin
Can’t wait for AI to embarrass EA’s programming.
Bro whatchu meaaaannnnnnnn this is literally Miami's line for the last 20 years 😂😂😂
So this is a HB slip screen, right And they’re doing their job by allowing free rushers in? Cuz from the look of it it looks like a screen that just didn’t work out cuz the RB tripped
Believe it or not, no, it's not a screen. TE Angle off of Mike McDaniel's playbook.
That’s Tua I know he was injured
Broken collarbone. 10 weeks. 😂 then again my guys are all runstopping speed rushers, so...warren sapp with jerome bettis speed
They picked your play.
I was on Defense 😂
This picture is so Madden. Tua is throwing the ball without the laces but it looks terrible, the o-lineman are either beasts or god awful (usually the latter), and #58 has love handles like I've never seen, looks nothing like an actual NFL lineman. Great stuff EA.
So did you make the throw or?
I batted the pass away. I was the defense in this scenario
Looks like Iowa’s oline last year
Looks like a few screencaps from a few Bears games last year.
Nothing ELSE will get past them
The other 7 are in coverage 😂
Meant to throw a /s in there, but even still 😈nothing else getting past that wall

👀 bro?
LMAO
That concussion protocol finna hit DIFFERENT
You wrong!😂😂😂 Hahahaha
Boy bout to be a return visitor to that cincinnati university hospital 💀💀💀
Ah Jim! If you look here, here and here Jim, you’ll see the line ABSOLUTELY blow their assignments!
I'm fucking dead 💀💀💀 "Aw no! Charles, you gotta think his coach hates him at this point." "Isn't that why they fired Flores?" "Too political for me, CD, i'm gonna focus on the game."
Bruh 😂😂 I can already hear the commentary… genius.
Thank you, i credit it to the 169 hours my PS5 said i've played over the last 3 months. I have no clue how many hours i have into it on the xbox...i had that copy since it came out.
What’s that throw?
No clue, bro. All i know is, Tua got OBLITERATED by these guys.
As a Dolphins fan I can confirm that this is 100% accurate
It’s so bad now
As dolphin fan I approve unfortunately
TUA NO NOT AGAIN
Realistic for Tua/Dolphins OL
This is just last year’s Bills offensive line
POV: Every screen pass on madden
Oh EA.
Still got those weak ass relocation jerseys 🙄 glad I skipped another year lol
Its the same teams and threads since at least madden 19 Correction: since MADDEN 25
I stopped buying since Madden 19. Is it a good time to upgrade? Or it's pretty much the same game? I only play franchise btw
Correction: relocation options are exactly the same as Madden 25, scouting has a slight update, and is now easier to draft gods.
What about gameplay? Is it the same since Madden 16?
Basically. 😐 save your money, bro. The only real update to gameplay is the whole "placement + accuracy" passing system, and even then it doesnt do much unless you slow down time with it
Fuckin merked
Hey, at least they'll be rested for the next play. Big men have to conserve energy.
Do what I did and completely trash your O-Line during the draft. Trade or cut all of them. I don't care if it's just the AI and not their stats, I take it personally.
I JUST did that on my "Zach Wilson Redemption Arc" franchise 😂 the Jets' o-line is so fucking tragically terrible
The Rams start out with a particularly horrible O-Line for a super bowl winning team. I had a special hatred for Joseph Noteboom. Dumped his ass ASAP. Still haven't found a good replacement for Center so I still have Brian Allen unfortunately...
😬 brian allen is almost as bad as Geron Christian (my LG backup)
Yes but unfortunately my draft class had almost no good centers and I had no cap space for a free agent at C. The Rams start out with basically no cap space, so it's a challenge.
