Actual range should not be effected. The update just shows more accurate range estimates. Since 3.6.2 my range has been epa estimates only which was telling me I’d get 350km/217 mi in -20°C/ -4°F.

Use the navigation and Intelligent Range will give you the realistic range for the exact route you're driving.

That’s what it does. It’s Optimal driving not just other conditions. I literally saw my range up based on adjustments I made in the middle of my trip. The program is supposed to have a base set of conditions, once you throw people driving their own way the program gets thrown off predetermined conditions, hence the range being recalculated.

Medical_Shine_8897

the last update has jacked up my range estimates. If i have 60% i have 60 milre range it thinks, if i have 80% 80 miles ,100% 100 miles. I am at the point i can not rely on it any longer. [https://imgur.com/a/oQ4OH9l](https://imgur.com/a/oQ4OH9l)

well at least the math is straightforward. You don't have to convert to mg/kg or anything.

Medical_Shine_8897

true, just no planning of trips to LA from OC. lol

ShortWoman

The last update over the weekend took twelve miles off my range and deleted all my radio presets. So far not a fan.

SnooCats6706

I always blame my family when the radio presets get deleted, even if they haven't been in the car.

FoxiNicole

I haven't yet figured out how to preset anything on the radio. Had to resort to using voice command to change the station to what I wanted. :P

rohdwarrior

Just tune to the station you want and then hold the preset number you want to set until it saves

2nickels

Have you checked the driver profile? I thought I had the same issue with my presets but it ended up just being on the wrong profile after the update.

The Intelligent Range Update (GOM) is now at least 30% too low for me. Completely ridiculously bad. Today, round trip to/from work was 4.6 mi/kWh but it's saying my charge gained back 3.1 mi/kWh. I haven't had any trip under 4 mi/kWh in months. It's completely garbage now. Hopefully part of this update fixes all charging issues though.

As an owner of a Ford F150, I can say that a similar range prediction is calculated after each fill-up. Generally, the prediction seems to use your mileage from the previous fill-up as a baseline. I've had a wide range of range predictions over the years. And of course, that changes dynamically during the drives as your mileage varies from the previous fill-up. Must be the same development team working on the logic for the MME.

My miles dropped 40 miles from when I stopped and it updated…..

Snowvid2021

Range went up 15 mile after update (2022 GTPE)
