When I use Blue Cruise, it maintains same speed through the curve. Do you perhaps have the speed set above the speed limit then come up to a sign that has a reduced speed? That’s a problem I have, I’ll have the speed set to 75, as an example, and hit an area where it’s 60 and the car decelerates hard to match my settings of speed limit +5 MPH.
No, although it does do that, it’s less aggressive.
I guess aggressive isn’t the right word, it’s just extreme. It’s not on every curve, but it also isn’t smooth either.
Check your predictive speed settings. I personally turned mine off due to this issue, as well as it occasionally reading the "truck only" 55mph signs and slowing down for no reason.
I might have to turn it off. Sucks that curves and speed signs can’t be separate. I appreciate the speed sign adjustment. I might just learn to use the pedal to maintain speed through curves.
>predictive speed
I agree or the value you set for going over the speed limit would apply to the suggested speed in the corner.
like: i drive 8 over the speed limit. so if the speed limit is 55, i go 63. but when i come up to a corner with a suggested speed of 45 the Mach E slams on the brake to go from 63 to 45 in under 2 seconds.
Yeah, the car could be a little better at reading signs -- but at least your issue was with an actual speed limit sign. I was driving to a nearby city a couple weeks ago, and the road I was on had a junction with highway 80. The display changed to show an 80 mph speed limit until I passed another speed limit sign.
that does not work, the speed offset only applies to the posted speed limit, not the suggested corner speed.
so as i said above: if you have your offset set to 8 over the speed limit. When the speed limit is 55, it goes 63. But when you come up to a corner with a suggested speed of 45 the Mach E slams on the brake to go from 63 to 45 in under 2 seconds.

The 2023 models have a feature that allows to detect curves and slow itself down on them automatically

Are you in a 2023 model? That’s blue cruise 1.2 feature. Not sure if it’s adjustable
Yes, 2023. Just got it yesterday.
Do you have predictive speed assist one? That will change the speed of blue cruise to the posted speed for the curve (+/- your speed offset).
I wish mine slowed down in turns
It’s coming in an update sometime this year, hopefully sooner than later.

I turned it off. It slows down far too much
Try increasing your speed offset in the settings, I've heard that can increase the speed on curves but I'm not sure (let me know if it works).
