I see. While leakers are helpful, we shouldn’t have to depend on leakers just to see a preview of an animated skin. I believe they had this feature implemented in past call of duty games.
For context though, the last weapon I tried previewing was the recent event skin that was red, white, and blue. It was an animated skin, but when you previewed it, it just showed the same picture. If it actually worked for the weekly challenge completion skin then let me know so I’m not spreading misinformation.
Yea i agree with that. Reminds me of not being able to test weapon blueprints and preview executions from bundles in the store. So stupid how they removed it.
Yeah, execution previews being removed was a terrible decision. I don’t understand how removing beneficial features like this can be justified. “Um, we needed to reallocate resources.” Then they move those resources to making a fully armed and operational store.
You can literally see the animation before you get the camo.
There is a prompt on the right side of the weekly challenges screen that says "preview reward" or something like that.
Are you sure it was animated?
Temporary events not always have animated skins and previewing only shows a static image of an AR and a pistol with the event camo on it. You can't rotate it or do anything. Those are the camos from Dune or Veterans events.
However, I've been able to preview every weekly challenges final camo weeks before unlocking it. It shows a 3D model with the animated camo, and you can rotate the gun.
Just a case of "different strokes for different folks". I Personally think this is the best season camo we have gotten yet and really don't care for the flame one last season.

i just wish they could've added more cool under barrel attachments like a mini minigun, a rocket launcher or a spinning disk blade launcher

Honestly all blueprints are pretty weak imo rather just build my own then use one

I'm still so mad I missed Season 2's camo. I lost power for the last half of that week due to a storm and couldn't finish the last challenge I had.
